What started as a terrible experience turned into a positive! My husband and I were looking to upgrade my mom car to a Grand Highlander Hybrid for our expanding family. We spoke to our first salesman (name won't be mentioned). He said he would call once the car arrived. A month later he let's us know our car came in. We came in the next day (over an hour drive). We were greeted by a new salesman, Jim Gallegos. He showed us a totally different car than what we agreed to by the first guy. We told Jim, and he was very apologetic. He grabbed the head Manager and they apologized for the mix up on their end. Jim had zero part of this mix up. He was just the salesman that was assigned to us. The original salesman was not there. Jim handled us after that. His communication was excellent. They found us our Grand Highlander Hybrid!! We made the drive once again acouple weeks later and our beautiful car was ready. Jim was just wonderful. Trey was the finance manager for us and he was just as wonderful. Thank you Jim and Trey for your excellent customer service skills. You made what started as a frustrating experience, into a wonderful one. We can't wait for our next visit (hopefully soon) to get our Tundra. If you want a car go to Jim!

David Floyd giving some final instructions to my wife, making sure that she understood and was 100% confident in operating her new ride.

My wife's 2012 Chevy Impala got totaled in the May Hail Storm of 2017 in the Denver Metro Area. We kept it until here in 2025 because it was paid for, we didn't have to worry about where to park it, and it ran reliably well. But now, with almost 180,000 miles on it, although running and maybe someone could possibly eek another 50-70,000 miles out of it, most repairs are now more than the car is worth, it's not what I'd consider to be reliable for out of town trips, so we started looking for something much newer. We were considering a Hyundai Sonata and the 2026 Toyota AWD Camry. After test driving both, the Camry was a more refined, stylish car, that gets an incredible 46 mpg. We met David Floyd, who oriented us on the test drive, and from the start, you could tell that he knew his product line, inside and out. He also has incredibly good people skills, knowing how to meet people where they are at, and explaining systems and features in a manner that was easy to process, understand, giving one the confidence in knowing what they are doing. Although we now knew that we wanted a Camry, my wife was leaning towards an SE or XSE package. There was 1 SE on the lot, and it was purchased ironically while we were out test driving a Sonata at another dealership. So, we asked David to try and locate the package that we wanted, and my wife had an additional criteria, that it be reservoir blue in color. She always wanted another darker blue vehicle, but in the last couple decades, she had settled for a pewter, red, and silver car, because of lack of inventory at the time. I also searched nationally, and could only find 66 Blue Camry SE's, with the closest one being in Arizona, and we live in Lakewood, Colorado. David called me back a few days later, once again saying that they are likely to get either an SE or SXE within 2-3 weeks or so to our liking, but asked if we'd consider buying an XLE that they had in stock on the lot, and it was Reservoir Blue. I talked it over with my wife and she agreed. We mentioned to David that we were open to an XLE, but really didn't need many of the additional features that it had. David made a tempting offer, I countered, and we agreed on a fair price. We later came to the dealership to close the deal, and David asked in a subtly convincing, almost gently insisting manner which we appreciated, that we should test drive the Camry XLE in blue, just to be sure. So, we took another test drive, we both loved the car, so, now onto the payment and possible financing. My wife generally LOATHES going in and trying to buy a car, due to the sometimes haggling nature, and sales pressure to add things on after the sale price is made, at many other dealerships. In the past, the whole process often took anywhere from 4-6 hours or more. That was far from the case when dealing with David Floyd. We reached an agreement on price quickly, he got us set up with the finance department, we put down a significant down payment, and they got us a finance rate lower than expected, and we have an excellent 858 credit rating, but again, it surprised us, but in a good way. The only add ons that we went with were window tinting and yes, even the extended warranty, because they made us incredible offers that once again, actually exceeded my expectations. The whole process from test driving, making a final deal, completing the financing and out the door was only about 2 1/2 hours. My wife actually expressed that the process, for the first time ever, was actually painless, and dare I say even enjoyable. So, if you're considering buying a Toyota, do yourself a favor, go to Mountain States Toyota, find David Floyd, learn and know the vehicle of your choice, make a fair deal, and when speaking of finance, Jesse was also friendly, knowledgeable, professional, and in a word, pleasant as well, you'll be glad you went there, and you can thank me later, because it was the best vehicle purchasing experience, EVER!

My Autozone down the street manager said swap it out they were just out of stock. So I brought it to this store with it in stock. Current store manager is an asshole. Watched him being overly nice to a woman. When it's my turn he refused to help me. Yeah dude I'm pulling some sort of oil scam. Asked what's up since the store down the street let me swap jusg out of stock. He said it's up to Store discretion. Fucking joke. Yeah dude I'm pulling an oil scam. People have shit to do thanks for being an asshole.

Jerimiah, acting like a Manager, said he was the only person there (even though I saw someone else) and ask me to come back. I went back that afternoon and Jerimiah told the guy in front of me that he would need to come back for a battery installation because there was a line, there were only 3 people in line at that point. Jerimiah started to help me buy the battery and then left me standing there to take a phone call. Alan then helped the guy behind me purchase 2 batteries. I then asked if Alan would help me since Jerimiah hadn't returned. I did see Jerimiah standing off to the side, not doing anything after he helped the customer on the phone, and he only came back once Alan was helping me. Alan asked Jerimiah if he would like him to do the install and then Jerimiah said yes, because he didn't know how to install a battery....Now there was a small line and Alan asked me to wait outside until the line was cleared, which I did patiently. Then about 5 mintues later, Alan comes outside with a woman and is looking under her hood. After about 10 minutes in the cold, I asked Alan if there was someone else who could help me - note, this woman was behind me in line, she should have waited her turn to get help with her car until the line was cleared, just as I was asked to do. Alan got a little snippy and said there is a line and he will get to me as soon as he can. I then went inside and asked Jerimiah if there was anyone else that could help me install the battery I already paid for and that Alan was helping a customer who was after me in line, Alan followed me inside and Jermiah told him to help me next. When I got home I filled out the survey and gave them a 1 - which again, is to generous. Monday morning while I was working someone called me pretending to be a Regional Manager and asked me about my experience. I told him I'm working but will take the time to explain what happened, after I explained, the man replied that what they should have done was told me to go next door and have the battery installed. I told him, no, what they should have done was helped me with my car before helping the woman behind me with her car and hung up. Auto Zone advertises that they install batteries and that is the only reason I went there. I waited very patiently only to have Alan flirt with the woman behind me and then talk nasty to me when I asked how much longer it would be - it was cold outside and I was before her. Note: She didn't purchase anything, she ended up driving off. Auto Zone Thornton Colorado and 128th - take care of the people who spend money with you and train your people so everyone knows how to install batteries.
