I cannot recommend this FANTASTIC venue & staff more!! I had so much fun working with them, and our wedding day exceeded our expectations! From the minute I found The Mountain Terrace online, I knew it was my dream venue - the trees and bay views make it such a magical and unique escape. I was unsure if it would work with our budget, but the staff there worked with us to find a ceremony package that fit with what we wanted to spend. The incredible staff, including Brooke, Caren, and Terri, made the planning experience so easy and fun for me. Caren sent me so many useful reminders and planning documents along the way, and her and Terri always responded to my questions quickly. Simply put, they were a dream to work with! Moreover, Terri's day of wedding coordination gave me and my family the freedom to just enjoy the day and not worry about anything getting done. I want to also take a moment to mention how wonderful all the additional staff members are. Everyone was there to help, make sure we had drinks and were fed, and worked with us to personalize everything. We had amazing signature drinks (thank you Cherie!) and a personalized Persian & Indian menu courtesy of Chef Benny! COVID wise, I really feel like this venue went above and beyond to ensure the staff and guests' safety, and were able to accommodate all the specific pod seating I wanted. Moreover, the venue is so open and private there was plenty of room for social distancing. Our family and guests keep telling us what an amazing time they had, how much they loved the food, and how well paced the day was. I hope I can throw another event here in the future! read more

Before my wedding, I was focusing mostly on the food and the look of the venue, but I want to emphasize the awesome team of staff. Before the wedding, Brooke was super helpful and responsive to all my questions. On the day of, she was a lifesaver. She really contributed to ensuring I was stress free by taking care of everything. All the concerns I had she had already taken care of, so there was no need to stress. They also exceed my expectations and provided additional decor that I didn't have, but she thought would fit nicely. Everything turned out perfectly and TMT played a large role in that!! The team is so efficient and transitioned all the events seamlessly and with grace. For anyone that is worried about the sounds from motorcycles, don't worry about it. This review is 3 years late but I wanted to make sure we shared what an amazing experience we had getting married at The Mountain Terrace (TMT) on August 11, 2018. I've been lucky to be involved in 4 of my siblings' weddings so I've had a good amount of exposure to the stress of planning and coordinating weddings of various sizes. The TMT team really helped to make our wedding go so smoothly so that we could focus on marrying each other and celebrating with our friends and family. I could not recommend this venue enough. *Coordination and Team:* Brooke Bauer was an incredible coordinator that kept everything running smoothly and stayed calm although we didn't stick to our schedule on our wedding day. - We ran long with our ceremony and Brooke calmly checked with us before adjusting our cocktail hour to be longer so guests could hang out for longer before being seated - We were going to do toasts outdoors during dinner without mics, but since we all finished dinner faster than expected we were able to move indoors and use the mic. This was an awesome adjustment. Additionally Brooke was super thoughtful about taking care of us and our stuff!: - Brooke made sure to bring my husband and me a platter of appetizers to eat while we stepped aside after the ceremony to sign our wedding certificate with our officiant, best man and maid of honor. So clutch! - The staff had a tray of champagne waiting for us and our wedding party at the end of the aisle right as we walked out of our ceremony. This was so special! - We got all of our stuff packed up into our Uncle and Aunt's car at the end of the night. We didn't leave that wedding missing ANYTHING even though I left my special toasting champagne glass all over the place during the night. I was so amazed that somehow our glasses were safely packed up in the box when we got home - along with all of our decor items and cards from our guests!. At each one of my siblings' wedding at least a few items were missing at the end of the night. - There were a few extra random decorations that we brought but didn't have specific plans for and Brooke made great decisions about where to put everything. *Venue:* The venue is absolutely beautiful. It's unassuming when you're in the parking lot but it's definitely got a WOW factor as soon as you step through the entry. We got beautiful photos that look like we're deep in a forest of beautiful redwoods. I loved that the outdoor space was basically one big rectangle so you can set up different areas for different activities but everyone can always see where everyone else is. We did a traditional Chinese Tea Ceremony for our family off to the side right after our Wedding Ceremony and the rest of the party was enjoying cocktail hour near the deck and lawn games right next to that. I was glad that everyone could enjoy drinks and apps but still could see us going through the tea ceremony with our family. The event space is large but not so large that you spend a lot of time traveling from area to area. We had a fire pit set up for s'mores for folks who wanted to take a break from the dance floor and it was pretty quick to go back and forth. The only tricky thing is that this is a popular area for motorcyclists so we did have to compete with some revving for a second or two during our vows. That is honestly the only downside I can think of. - The bar is a beautiful wooden bar that looked awesome. We had people hanging out in front of it all night. - There's a great little room that I was able to keep an outfit change in. My little baby nephew even napped in there on a couple of chairs at one point in the evening! *Food and Drink:* TMT had a great tasting event for us to try out a few different menu items ahead of the wedding. They sat each couple at their own table and made it really fun for us. The chef was available to talk about the ingredients they use. A lot of my siblings were so busy on their wedding day that they couldn't eat their full meal. I was so happy that we got to eat everything because it was so delicious. There's multiple options for the bar - you can pay for unlimited drinks for guests or pay per drink that they order. We did the math for our friends that are bigger drinks and realized it made more sense to pay for unlimited drinks. The Wife was having her half-century birthday coming up, and as you can imagine, finding a venue for a COVID-safe party is more than a little challenging. Especially considering I had several requirements that could not be compromised (outdoor patio, ability to serve drinks, and room for kids to be kids). Early in the process I had reached out to the Mountain Terrace and they weren't able to make a commitment at the time because of the lockdown, but I discussed possible terms with Katia should the lockdown open up. I had assumed it wasn't going to happen and began to plan the event for my backyard. About five minutes after the lockdown lift was announced, Katia reached out to me and got me in touch with Terri. Terri was really responsive and she clearly knows the ins and outs of event hosting. Given these exceptional times, Terri had made a few exceptions for our event and I really appreciated her flexibility to accommodate my situation, it really meant a lot. I scheduled a venue tour. I've ridden by the venue dozens of time on my bicycle and was initially skeptical when I entered the parking lot because I have seen the dozens of cars that park outside the Trading Post and Alice's Restaurant...I was kind of expecting something that looked like the hotel on Schitt's Creek. I walked through the nicely maintained wood-themed restaurant on to the deck and was floored. The deck is magnificent. A huge, well-maintained wood floor that look over a wonderfully manicured terrace lawn on top of the mountain that on a clear day has a view of the Hoover Tower (the name of the establishment is quite descriptive). They installed a clear plastic tent over the deck for COVID, and this was the final selling point for me because I was throwing a party in the winter and you just don't know what the weather will be. The terrace then leads into the beautiful redwood forest that is a playground for the kids and adults alike. Outdoor lawn furniture underneath the redwood trees that is just perfect for those side chats that happen during weddings, and there are paths to hike around and feel like you're in the forest. The venue is just loaded with extras. They had a large Jenga set, a massive Connect Four set, cornhole, and they didn't care that we brought our own bocce sets. The service was phenomenal. We had musicians who needed shade, three minutes after the request we had a lawn umbrella. The bar was stocked with high quality beer and wine, and staffed with the nicest, friendliest servers, and all requests were met immediately. We lucked out and had a perfect weather day, but I would say that it is quite possible to have wind and fog from the marine layer. However the venue is located on the east side of the summit and it blocks a lot of the strong wind that can be a challenge when eating outside at Alice's Restaurant. Our party was an overwhelming success. Everyone who attended was almost starstruck with the beauty of the view, the amenities of the venue, and the outstanding service. Everyone was saying how they'll never forget this day of entertainment in the midst of a quarantine. A final note: the only one-star review (by someone who didn't even sign the contract!) complained about nickel-and-diming clearly has no idea about how wedding venues work in the Bay Area. The contract was very clear on the terms. You rent the venue for a fixed price, and then you pay the staff for the services rendered. I wouldn't call it cheap, but I promise you other venues with less to offer will charge you more. Now that things are open, I would strongly recommend reserving as early as possible because this place will be booked for a long time. read more

Came here for a friends wedding a few weeks ago. The venue is really nice and spacious. I love that we are surrounded by redwood trees. the only bad part is the road to get up to the venue. its really winding and long. Expect to get motion sickness if you aren't use to winding roads. Its not as bad in the daytime as it is at night. It was a nice day so everyone was able to sit out on the patio and eat dinner there. It was a little cold, it would have been nice if they had more heat lamps near the tables. Dinner was buffet style, and it was actually not bad. There was brisket, chicken, salad, and mashed potatoes. It was a decent dinner. It was also nice when they ran out of brisket, the servers brought out a fresh batch to our table since we didn't want to stand there waiting. Overall, a really nice daytime wedding spot. I had my wedding at this venue first week of July and the event planning and coordination team here are rude, incompetent and unprofessional to say the least. They changed my day of coordinator at the last moment and didn't even bother informing me until I got to the venue an hour before my wedding. My family had to run around managing the event and coordinating every little detail while the substitute coordinator was clueless and missed out on our requirements they gathered from me over the planning phase through multitude of ridiculous forms. The staff there started clearing out the chairs from the ceremony site while the ceremony was still in progress. And this is just one of the many many things that went wrong. read more

The employees here are making sure everything goes smoothly and doesn't give you anything to worry about when on your special day. The bridal room is pretty big and gives you enough space to place all your dress changes. After seeing pictures online, I thought this was going to be my dream wedding venue. Upon arrival, it was clear that it was not. The venue is difficult to find, it is hidden behind a diner type place and the roads are really windy to get there. Our GPS took us a different route due to traffic, but there are many areas with only single lanes creating lots of back up. The outside wedding space is absolutely breathtaking. This is what brought me to the venue as it was a dream. The view is hard to compete with. However, everything else from there is a let down. The deck area where dinner is typically held is very divided into levels, which I think is kind of awkward for a wedding. This could have been worked around..but then we saw the inside reception space. It looks like a really old lodge with low ceilings making you feel claustrophobic. I cannot imagine how that space can have a 100-150 people inside dancing etc. The bridal "suite" is a tiny room, I can't imagine a whole bridal party hanging out in there.. As others have mentioned, this is a very expensive venue and they charge you for every single thing with other fees (like $500 extra to have enough parking for all of your guests..wow!!) If you have a huge budget and a small wedding, this may be for you. I was really hopeful but alas, it wasn't the right fit for us. read more

Lovely site. We were here for a company offsite and it was fun -- the slider bar was great, the charcuterie was delicious, and despite the very cold and clammy fog (typical of the location). Pros: Beautiful site. They have some nice photo ops like this vine twisted tree swing in their backyard, and a fire pit with a smores station. The lodge is also very cute with a fireplace area and an open area for karaoke. Has some parking, which is probably pretty necessary given the location off Skyline and the windiness of the road. Tons of space in both the building and the yard Cons: The back patio was covered with a tent and that retained some heat, but the gas lights heating the food caused a gas smell to get retained in there which was kind of annoying. When the fog rolls in, good luck with getting here (it is VERY winding to get here) and carshare is not recommended for getting out of here. If you are considering a wedding here, I would suggest getting a shuttle or some collective transportation for your guests -- our offsite had a bus that took us out of there. True story: we accidentally requested getting dropped off at Mountain House (similar name, 5 miles up the same road) instead of Mountain Terrace and it was a nightmare trying to get another Lyft / Uber the remaining 5 miles. 2 picked up the ride and cancelled, 3rd time was the charm. Short story we waited 30 minutes in chilling December fog to get to the correct location. Moral of the story: check the name of your destination carefully ;-) read more

I love the Mountain Terrace so much! My husband and I are so very glad and grateful that we chose it for our wedding, which was just last week. So first -- for the general stuff -- and then onto our wedding coordinator, Brooke Bauer, whose praises I can't sing loudly enough! (We love you, Brooke!!!) The venue is breathtakingly beautiful and being there felt grounded, simple, easy. It's rustic of course but also well appointed and classy. There's nothing too fussy or precious, so it's a great match for my husband and I in terms of style. Both the sales staff (hey Casey!) and Brooke, our coordinator, were genuine, kind, and professional. They were really straightforward and honest with us, giving recommendations on where to splurge and where to save. We never felt pushed into anything, surprised by unexpected charges, or that we were being nickel and dimed -- all of which gave me anxiety when I contemplated selecting a wedding venue. We were impressed and delighted by the Mountain Terrace's chef and had such a great time at our tasting, where they made us feel like royalty! We also really enjoyed staying at the Terrace Suite, a beautiful 4-bedroom house adjacent to the property which we rented for an additional fee the night before the wedding (my bridesmaids and I) and then the night of the wedding (my husband and I). It made for a great place to have hair and makeup done the day of the wedding too. Conveniently, there are two wings of the house and two entrances -- so the bridal party gents got ready in one wing and the bridal party ladies got ready in the other. We are SUPER grateful for Brooke, our wedding coordinator at the Mountain Terrace. Hiring Brooke was worth every penny. Brooke is so warm, down to earth and flexible, and she was always up for answering questions over text, email or phone. (I think I must have emailed her at least 20 times in the 2 days before the wedding and each time she responded promptly and in good humor!) She was super helpful, informative, and reassuring as she walked my husband and I through all the choices we would need to make in the run up to the wedding. She also did a great job of handling a million random details and requests; wrangling about 25 bridal party and family members during the rehearsal; suggesting smart 'game day decisions' about our schedule; and ensuring that all of our set up items (photos, favors, menus, etc) were deployed and recollected in excellent condition. We had a wonderful time at our wedding at The Mountain Terrace. When we first toured the venue we fell in love the the natural beauty and towering redwoods, and on the day itself it felt even more beautiful. In the lead up to the event all the staff were extremely helpful and organized in getting all the details worked out with us. They provided guidance on what worked well at other weddings and what sort of things we might want to consider. The food they offer is delicious, with the right mix of classic and fancy. We got same day coordination with Brooke, which worked out perfectly! Brooke was super helpful in the weeks before the wedding by coordinating details with vendors. On the day itself she really helped everything run smoothly and keep to the timeline. She made sure to let us know of the upcoming wedding activities, but also let us enjoy time with our guests. Having Brooke meant that we could sit back and really enjoy our big day, and know that everything will be handled. She also always kept our glasses full! A few things to consider with the venue though is that there is no amplified music or speeches outdoors. We ended up doing the speeches indoors with the DJ's mic, which we thought actually worked out quite well. But we did have problems finding a live musician to perform for the ceremony. We found it difficult to select live musicians that we liked and would be loud enough without amplification. We ended up choosing a guitarist, which was somewhat difficult for some of our guests to hear. We reached out to Katia Chanin from mountain terrace regarding dates and availability before seeing the place. We talked out possible dates and she scheduled a zoom call us to give us a virtual tour and answer any more questions. She was incredibly knowledgeable, detailed and thorough with information, pricing and various options. After our call, she gave us a detailed price and said that we could schedule a tour on site with Kristy. The tour was nice, we reviewed the views and saw more photos of past events to get ideas. The whole process was very quick and very responsive.I feel like it was all handled in a week even though we went back and forth reviewing wedding options. Lindsay and Casey (the two lovely professionals who helped me build my event) were thorough, kind, good humored, and communicative from inquiry to clean up post-event. I have almost a decade of event planning experience, and about 5 years of planning in the Bay Area. This was one of the easiest venues I've ever worked with. Mountain Terrace is removed from the Bay Area madness, but close enough so you don't have to spend hours on a shuttle to get there. It's a gorgeous and lush setting with an array of spaces available to craft and mould to your event. The team had an absolute blast, the food was DELICIOUS, and a good time was had by all. This is a unique, gorgeous site! I contacted Mountain Terrace about an event. When I called, they me back the same day. Terri who I spoke to is friendly and straight forward. She emailed me info within the hour. She sent an estimate with several options, a fantastic dinner menu and current photos that show how they are keeping people warm outside during the cold months with a clear tent. Gorgeous! This venue is an incredibly greedy and shady business. They charge you $2500 for the venue rental for 5 hours, but 3 of which need to be used up on the staff to set up and take down. So you only actually get 2 hours for the wedding and reception! They also nickel and dime us for every single thing and charge for hours which we can't even utilize. Five hours would have been more than enough for a ceremony and a lunch if they actually allowed their couples to use the venue for that amount! Instead, they force their couples to use 3 out of 5 hours on "set up" and "take down", which really means just paying for their own staff. Despite us trying to make it work, Terri (horrible service!) have offered us zero flexibility. If they paid their staff themselves instead of forcing their couples to do that, maybe this could work, but I can see this is nothing more than a greedy, corporate business veiled under a venue. Good luck trying to fill those prime April and May spots this last minute, especially given the awful customer service (from Terri, we actually loved the person we toured with), the fact that the venue is nothing more than a glorified park with a couple redwood trees, and the insane amount of rules. Glad we dodged a bullet here and can spread the word to our friends, family, and community to do the same. read more

We recently had our wedding ceremony and reception at The Mountain Terrace and cannot say enough positive things about the venue and its staff. From the very first time we visited, we felt welcomed and supported. The staff took time to sit down with us upon arrival and walk through all the details involved with the space. They answered all of our questions before we even asked, which was very impressive and not necessarily the experience we had when visiting other venues. They also gave us honest, straight forward answers and never pressured us into any extra or unnecessary expenses. This level of support and amazing customer service continued throughout the year+ of wedding planning. We decided to add the wedding coordination service and are so glad that we did. Brooke Bauer was our coordinator and she was simply AMAZING. She was so responsive throughout the planning process, answering all of our questions honestly and quickly. She kept us on track and followed up to ensure that everything was taken care of according to their timeline...in summary, she was super organized, which put us at ease. The rest of the Mountain Terrace staff were also incredible and very accommodating of our guests. The venue itself is just amazing. We wanted a laidback yet high quality event and that was exactly what the space provided. The space also just flows so well...the position of the dance floor (right next to the bar and deck) allowed for guests to easily mingle and go back and forth between the indoor and outdoor space throughout the evening. I scheduled an appointment to meet with Charisse to view this area for my ceremony. The day and time I was visiting was perfect since they were actually setting up for a wedding. The view is nice, but my fave part of this spot was the entrance (wooden fence entrance with overgrown flowers) and little "hang out" place to the left of where ceremonies take place. There's a little area with trees and wooden chairs. I would love to just sit and relax there! The lawn can fit about 300, the inside dining room 130 and the outdoor patio 180 seated guests. Cost is about $2500-$3000. There's a small parking area in the front but there's more parking somewhere in the back. It's quite a windy road up to the place and can be confusing for some, especially at night. Next door to the place is a small grocery market. read more

My husband and I could not be more thrilled that we chose to have our ceremony and reception here. From the first time I visited I knew it was the perfect place, and I still have the same feeling to this day. Charisse and Caren are both a dream to work with, and we are so glad we decided to purchase the day of coordination services. Caren made sure that we didn't have to do anything except enjoy every moment of our wedding, and we did just that. We chose the in-house catering services, and our guests are still raving about how delicious the food was! Many people associate buffet services with cold, generic food, and the meal we ate could not have been more opposite. Everything was fresh, hot, and amazing! My main concern when choosing this venue was the stipulation that there is no amplified music allowed outside of the building (i.e. on the deck). Honestly, I didn't even notice. The music flowed wonderfully throughout the building and it was still very audible on the deck during dinner. Who wants to have to strain to hear the person next to them anyways? I could go on and on, but honestly I would recommend The Mountain Terrace to every couple I know (and I have!). It was the perfect setting for our big day, and the customer service is beyond anything we ever expected. read more

I came here for a wedding last weekend and it was a bit chilly, especially during dinner (but we had heat lamps). The venue was beautiful and the table arrangements outside were perfect for a garden theme. The view of the mountain terrace between the trees was gorgeous during the ceremony. There are two landings at the entrance, which is perfect for signing in, refreshments and table cards. The inside area has a small dance floor with a bar, a small area for desserts and a fireplace/cozy living room area for slideshow, photobooth, speeches and all that. It's great for a smaller wedding and the venue is intimate and eclectic enough to make people feel like they are just not stuck in one big room like at a hotel wedding. I believe there were about 150 people at the wedding (15 tables, 10 people each). The wedding helpers (two females, not sure of their names) were great and got us the two-prong sockets for some lighting and were gracious. The servers and bartender were great as well. One of the guys at our table kept on spilling his drink and our server was gracious about getting him napkins over and over again and replacing the person's that he spilled on. The food was pretty good too. Some pointers - don't forget to have enough gas in your car, otherwise you will have to drive to Sharon Heights and pay and arm and a leg at the Shell over there. The left turn (almost U-turn) you make at La Honda/H84 is pretty sharp so turn your wheel early enough when coming down or you'll have to make a three-point turn or you're going to run into the cars at the stop sign going the opposite direction and they will have to back up for you (how embarrassing). Also, if you passed Alice's Restaurant, you went to far. When going home, don't go on H35 going uphill, go down the road on the left side where it's going downhill. I attended a wedding here last weekend and was blown away by how beautiful this venue was. The back meadow is stunning! Redwood trees line the meadow and there's a a view of East Bay. The deck was strung with lights and it was just gorgeous. My favorite spot was out on the deck, sitting by the tree. The food was delicious! I really enjoyed the roasted veggies and the herb crusted chicken was very juicy, which caught me off guard. Typically you get dry chicken at weddings, but not at this one. The venue is small, probably no more than 100 guests would fit comfortably here, but if you're having something small and intimate, this place is perfect. read more

Had an unbelievable Holiday Party here last Friday night. Lindsay was amazing and super responsive in the days leading up to the event and Dawn was absolutely on top of everything the day of the event. The entire staff was wonderful and exceeded expectations, making my job a lot easier. It was pouring the night of, which didn't even matter because there was a nice tarp on the outside area, and the inside was decorated for the Holiday season. We were supposed to be roasting s'mores for dessert, but due to the rain were unable to. It didn't matter though as the team made sure to roast them in the kitchen for us :) I had originally looked at this location for the gorgeous view, but stayed for the amazing service, staff, and atmosphere. We had a great company offsite at The Mountain Terrace. It was in December and they had their tent up which was perfect. We were able to be outside and not freezing and protected from the weather. Dawn and Don were amazing support the day of. I had some random things happen and they were able to fix it right away without my guests knowing anything about it. I would highly recommend this place for an offsite. It is close enough to the Valley but once you are on the property you feel like you are tucked away in the mountains. Came here for an outdoor wedding and it was such an amazingly beautiful and picturesque place for the wedding - nice secluded area in the back surrounded by super tall trees with a beautiful view of Palo Alto in the distance. Nice dining area and bar inside. Bottom line: Fantastic wedding place to consider for those people looking for an outdoor wedding venue. Just make sure you get transportation for all the drunken people at the wedding since it's a VERY WINDY 5-6 miles down back to Woodside/highway 84. read more

Being a wedding photographer in the Bay Area, I have had the pleasure of photographing weddings at The Mountain Terrace several times... and each time has been a great experience. Not only was it a wonderful place to photograph, but the staff is so friendly and always takes cares of the vendors. This is so huge for vendors, as in the rush of the day it's really hard for us to have to worry about how we are going to get a meal after working for 10 hours for 3 more to go! However the staff at The Mountain Terrace makes sure you don't have to worry about that at all. They care about the guests and vendors who the couple has chosen to be a part of their wedding. Now let's get to the scenery! It's stunning. Depending on the time of day it can look completely different in photos, keeping it exciting for me as a photographer. There's a great amount of spots to be able to shoot in to keep it creative and keep my couples happy with fresh, new imagery not seen from my previous weddings there. It was hands down the most beautiful venue we have ever visited and was perfect for the size of our wedding from the outdoor dinner arrangements to the dance floor next to the bar. The on-site catering options were delicious and every single one of our guests loved it. We worked with Virginia from day one and couldn't be happier as she was communicative and very organized. She was always on top of our questions, requests, and unexpected changes. We always felt at ease working with her and even accommodated ideas such as outdoor pianos! The MOST beautiful venue with the most delicious food, fantastic drinks, helpful and kind staff. All around, the best decision we made for our wedding! Everyone was telling us how gorgeous the venue was, how delicious the food was, and how perfect the space was for us. We had our wedding on 10/7/17 and we could not be happier with our experience with the Mountain Terrace. The food was amazing, and we received so many compliments from our guests raving about it. There were many choices to choose from and they were able to accommodate food allergies well. The servers and presentation were very professional. We opted to receive wedding coordination services from the venue and we were so impressed with Caren! She was extremely responsive to all of my emails leading up to the event, and helped me organize everything. For the rehearsal and day of, she kept the wedding on track and paid attention to all of the details. We were so impressed with her and are so appreciative for how she helped make our wedding absolutely perfect. And the best part is how beautiful the venue is! We were so happy we ended up choosing this woodsy venue with the view of the city so you get the best of both worlds. My husband and I got married here mid-June, and had a wonderful experience. Many of our guests have commented on how beautiful the venue was and how much fun they had. I particularly enjoy that is kind of a hidden treasure-after a really windy road you end up in a parking lot with a gas station, liquor store, and often a good amount of bikers! But right after this fun scenery is a beautiful wedding venue with spectacular views of redwoods and the Bay Area, outdoor bulb lights, a s'mores pit, and lots more (that I will leave out in case anyone that used to be hooked to the Vine app doesn't have the attention span). Raquel and Caren were so helpful with the planning process. My husband and I tend to go a bit on the easygoing side when it comes to details, and getting gentle reminders if we were missing anything important (which we often were-oops!) was very appreciated. On our big day (and during the rehearsal before) Raquel was very organized and efficient. We've been to quite a few weddings at this point in our lives, and while they are always wonderful in many ways, we were really grateful for Raquel sticking with our timeline so there really weren't any long periods of lag time. The sites catering and beverage packages were perfect for us, the food was delicious (and because of how smoothly things went we really did get to eat!). We're looking forward to having opportunities to come to the mountain terrace in the future to reminisce our special day. read more
