I saw this coffee joint when my husband and I ate at Lulu's pizza a few weeks ago. They were closed when we were there so they were put on my to go list. Checking out local coffee joints is always fun for me so I stopped in today for my afternoon caffeinated beverage. The coffee shop is smaller, more intimate. I love the setting of this place. It looks like a log cabin. There's a few tables to sit at, comfy chairs to chill and enjoy your drink. All it's missing a fireplace. I could sit in front of the fireplace, sipping on my coffee for hours. The most perfect way to enjoy your coffee. There was only one barista working and she was hustling! There was a couple drinks that she was making for guests ahead of me. There was also a gentleman waiting to order and someone was also in the drive thru. I didn't mind waiting, it gave me some time to look over the drink menu and goodies that were available. I appreciate that they have a fun Valentines menu out. They also have quite a few speciality drinks. It's fun to step outside of your normal drink once in a while so I grabbed the Lucky Moose today. Since they have a great variety of sugar free syrups, I was able to get my drink sugar free. The Lucky Moose is a vanilla, caramel and Irish cream breve. I was kinda nervous having all these different flavors in one drink but it was worth a shot! My drink was tasty! The flavors all together are a little different but good. I am happy that I got to try it but it's probably something I won't get again. Maybe I'll do one less flavor next time. The breve was creamy. The flavors were noticeable. The espresso was bitter but balanced. It was a great iced breve. This place would be fun to chill at when the weather is nicer. There's tables and chairs outside with a nice awning. Grab a slice of pizza next door and then grab a goody to snack on as a dessert with an iced coffee. Talk about a good afternoon! I look forward to coming back and grabbing another drink from this joint. Everything about today's visit was great. read more

My husband and I stopped here after a morning hike in the foothills. We grabbed a couple iced coffees and breakfast burritos. My drink (the Aspen) was a nice blend of vanilla, honey and lavender, however I do think there could have been less lavender. My husband's cold brew was fine, but nothing spectacular. The breakfast burritos (one sausage, one egg) were alright. They are pre-made in house and stuck in the microwave to order. I shouldn't complain about them being piping hot, however they were definitely overheated as the tortilla was tough on the ends. They were good, nicely stuffed with eggs and loads of cheese. They come with sour cream and/or salsa. The barista was very sweet and gave me an extra salsa free of charge. The total for two medium drinks and two burritos was $24.75. IMO, that's a little steep, especially since the only "specialty" item really was my drink. For the price, the burritos could have been way better. I'll definitely stop by for coffee again, but probably not for food. read more

Hands down my favorite drive thru coffee place in Boise. I love their Oat milk latte with mexi-mocha and breakfast burrito. The latter is the perfect balance of creaminess and sweetness with delicious coffee! They are so friendly and efficient and the prices are totally reasonable. read more

By far one of my new favorite coffee joints! One of my coworkers told me about this hidden gem and my life has forever been changed. There are many fun flavors and drinks available for the baristas to make the coffee of your dreams. Mine in particular is their vanilla iced chai with a shot of espresso (dirty chai, yes). Now I am weird with my chai teas. I really don't care for liquid chai. I prefer the powder and it is hard to find coffee establishments that offer that. Well, holy moly... mocha moose has my powder chai **insert happy dance** I am bummed that this place is a good 30 mins from where I live. However, it's pretty darn close to my work, which always gives me a nice little pick me up to get through the day. They have snacks available as well. My favorite that the offer is the morning muffin from zeppole! YUM!!!! read more

This place is so cute. It is convenient if you don't want to get out of your car, they have a drive thru. The inside is really cozy and the workers are so nice. All of their drinks are amazing. I highly suggest an iced chai or redbull. This is a great place to stop and do homework or to stop before going to Bogus. read more

Love the new Location!!! They have relocated to 2596 Bogus basin (The former location of Capri coffee) adjacent to bogus basin ski resort corporate offices. Same great coffee and they now serve Reid's ice cream. (Huckleberry is in season) WiFi rocks. Great place to meet for coffee. Excellent customer service. read more

No masks during a pandemic (and, might I add, putting your bare hand over the mouth of my lid is disgusting no matter what world we're living in). Asked for one latte to have almond flavoring. Said latte came to me with no flavoring and with too much milk, so much so that it took the same consistency. Ended up pouring out my drink. read more

I am uninterested with the "small business" pandering instead of confronting issues: wear masks. Coffee is okay, comparable to iHop's coffee on a good day; to each their own, I suppose. Crowded, which is reasonable for a coffee shop on weekends in the early day but unreasonable for a pandemic. read more

Super darling, clearly a small business ran by a terrific owner. So friendly, so clean, so helpful! I watched them work magic with all the customers before and after me, each interaction was so genuine and valued, it's so refreshing to see. Espresso drinks and brewed coffee are excellent. Favorite coffee on the north end! Great nondairy options for milk too. For $5.99 the burritos are comparable and do the job, but a little bland and need seasoning. Nice ambience inside and very clean. Wow, oh, wow! I tried this place out for this first time this past weekend, and I am happy I did! I was out running errands for work and was about to pass Mocha Moose by (for the 100th time) but decided I should stop and see what this little red hut on the side of Bogus Basin Rd is all about. I pulled up to the window, was greeted by a very friendly gentleman (who I found out was the owner), and then was instantly presented with the question, "What are we having?" To which I replied, "Well I like somewhat sweet, but not really. And I like mocha's, but not too much chocolate. And I think a hot drink sounds good, but I could still do an iced drink. But I'm open to whatever really." (That wasn't helpful at all, Amie.) Unfazed by my indecisiveness, he suggested, "We have a dark chocolate mocha and it's really good!" "Yes. That sounds amazing. Maybe do half the chocolate." "Perfect! Would you like whipped cream? It's homemade!" "No, I shouldn't...Wait, yes. It's Saturday--of course I want whip cream!" About 30 seconds later, this beautiful 12oz cup was handed to me with a bit of coffee heaven inside and a gorgeous swirl of whipped cream sitting on top. The dark chocolate was a perfect choice--slightly sweet, ever so slightly bitter, and exactly what my Saturday morning taste buds were looking for. The milk was steamed to perfection--hot but not scorching. The espresso was also delightful--creamy and rich. Unless you've worked in coffee before, you might not notice the difference between a good and bad shot of espresso. But if you have, it is very obvious when one is good and one is bad--and this was one GOOD shot of espresso! 5/5 for me. I will be back! read more

2 of 3 employees didn't have a mask to be seen. in the 8 minutes we were there, the one with a mask took theirs off. all while covid is spiking in the treasure valley and they were serving older folks. in one of our drinks, there was not a trace of the syrup we paid $.60 for. i certainly will not be coming back and advise no one else to waste their time or money or risk the health of themselves and others. read more

It's a poor customer experience when someone drives up after we place our order inside the shop, and they get their coffee first.

They serve Dawson Taylor coffee at this little drive through. This local roaster is my favorite. I usually walk up which is kind of fun because you can look down your nose at the oil slaves in the other lane. The people who work there are very nice and quickly drop their facebook knitting to serve you. read more

We were in the town for the morning and ran across the mocha moose. We thought the name was fantastic so we stopped in. The young lady working the counter was fantastic! We told her what we liked and she made us a delicious coffee drink added some extra shots and it is very yummy. We would definitely recommend and wish they had more locations!! read more

I love Mocha Moose! They make one of the tastiest mochas in town, not too sweet, and they always top it off with a yummy chocolate covered coffee bean. They're fast and friendly. Definitely check them out on your way up or down from Bogus. read more

This is a GREAT coffee stand. Normally, I stray away from random drive-thru places and stick to coffee houses I am familiar with, however, this stand has stolen my heart!
