Everything before and after the truck showed up was a failure. Isaac, my sales rep, went silent. No call, no email, no check-in of any kind until the day before the move. When I finally reached someone, the schedule on file was wrong and we had to rebuild it because the dates didn't line up. The inventory was also wrong. Rather than fix it, they sent me an updated inventory and asked me to verify it myself -- in the middle of a cross-country move, which is exactly when a customer has the least capacity to audit paperwork. The predictable happened: the truck arrived undersized for the actual load and they couldn't fit everything. Still figuring out how to get them to me... The crew told me Isaac or a manager would call. Three days later, nobody has. Not Isaac, not a sales manager, not anyone. I have had to chase this company at every single step, including after they failed. I would revise this review if someone from management called, explained what went wrong, and made me whole on the items that didn't make the truck. Until then, one star.

I'm not a lithe 20 year old anymore (not that I ever was, but you get the idea), and my middle aged body wasn't up the task. So I reached out to Rigo's, who literally and figuratively took care of the heavy lifting. Their online booking process was easy, with follow ups via text, keeping things efficient while I'm going crazy trying to pack and do everything else associated with a move. The pair of movers I booked arrived right on time on the big day, a little before the POD showed up. But once it did, I turned them loose on the pile of boxes and furniture, and they blew through it like it was nothing. They had my 16 foot pod a little over 3/4 full in a little over an hour, and secured the items to finish up. Overall I was happy with the service Rigo's provided and would easily recommend them to anyone that needs a hand in moving.

I HIGHLY recommend Roadway Moving! The experience with Roadway started off great! They were attentive, and the personal care for our move was so nice. We loved our movers and they took amazing care of our belongings! UNTIL... the moving truck hit the gate at my boyfriends apartment building. At first they were great about it. Someone reached out and took all the information, reached out to the management company of the building etc. The management company sent a quote to Roadway for the damage, and we thought everything was in the works, and all would be taken care of. Well, its been over a month since our move, and after MANY emails, texts and phone calls we have not heard a PEEP from Roadway. This is unbelievably unprofessional, frustrating, and SO disappointing after the move itself was such a great experience. I am writing this review to hopefully get the attention of someone at Roadway, and get this taken care of immediately. Understandably the building wants to get this fixed, and supposedly someone from Roadway is suppose to come and asses the damage...but we have never heard from anyone. They are holding my boyfriends security deposit, and now I am afraid that if they get it fixed without roadways physical assessment of the damage, that roadway won't cover the damages at all and we will get stuck paying for it. Fortunately, we discovered Upstage Concierge and our move was practically stress free. My mother was moving from a large 1-bedroom apartment into a studio apartment at a Senior Community. Trying to figure out what to do with all her furniture, pictures and keepsakes was stressful enough. Yet Robyn and her team came in, assessed her belongings, drew out a map and then we discussed what was staying and what was going for donation. (Did I mention they will pack up and donate your items as well!? No? Well, they will!). Their goal is to take care of everything so that all one has to do is walk into their new home and enjoy. That was the case with my mom. Bed was made, pictures hung, everything unpacked and in its place. And most importantly, mom was happy! The caring and empathy they showed for my mother during this stressful situation was invaluable to us and I couldn't recommend them more!

Talked with the owner about "Design" as the reason for choosing her company, she said "I will be there at the day of the move". Boxing day = Everything was boxed and office furniture dissembled. Next day = Moving in, Office furniture Poorly reassembled, they came with no tools, drawers opening by themselves because of their slope, they shimmed with cardboard box pieces but still not right, we had to ask maintenance workers at the new location to solve the problem. Boxes that were assigned to the basement were delivered to the apartment, I had to move them myself to their proper location. U C workers had to come back for a third day to finish the job. Still they left crooked pictures. The boss never showed up. So much for her Interior Decoration. The boss never called to ask how the job went. $11,600 for a unprofessional job. If I were you I would select another company for your move and save yourself a bundle of frustration.
