Serene was a great server and gave us great customer service! the food was also amazing and the best that I had by far ‼

Great selection of different types & sizes of pumpkins. Even Black Cats!

Happened upon this sweet pumpkin patch by accident & so glad that we did! My husband & I enjoyed our time here. We've been to numerous pumpkin patches in the county, and this one has been the best experience. I loved seeing pumpkins growing from the vine & picking one from them. The spooky decor is a nice addition. Ample, free parking. We left with 5 pumpkins. We'll definitely be back next year & for their Christmas tree farm.

What a beautiful ranch. Beautiful animals. Friendly and helpful staff What a fun family friendly pumpkin patch. Kids enjoyed the pony rides. We enjoyed all the photo ops. As a homeschool fam we took time to learn about all the animals featured at the ranch super cool to see a bison upclose. We really loved our time here. We appreciate Mountain valley ranch for making this avail to the public with affordable prices. I love my new candle it smells delicious and it's non toxic. I got a nice top for hubby to support this amazing ranch. We'll definitely be back again next time. I def recommend checking this ranch out and supporting

Pumpkin Patch. While driving to Julian we noticed a long line of cars trying to enter a Pumpkin Patch. So on the way back home we stopped by. Free parking and basically a free experience. They do charge for the corn maze and the corn cannon. The best attraction was the Bison in the petting zoo. - Just pumpkin for sale here, no shops or market. - Because the parking lots consist of soft dirt, a ton of dust will be kicked up in the air. Don't wash your car before coming here.

Every year for the last couple of years, we have been visiting different pumpkin patches around town and haven't repeated. I have learned to stick to a "farm" not "station". With that said, Mountain Valley is a farm/ranch and you see the pumpkin growing on the ground attached to the vines. It's about 25 minutes from Poway heading towards Julian. Entrance would be on the left and it's all dirt. No real restrooms but yes portable restrooms in the parking lot. This place is free and you pay extra for activities. This place is not as big as Bates or Oma but it does have: -Corn maze $5 -Petting zoo -Hay ride $5 -Corn cannon $1 for 2 -Pony rides $5 -Food truck -Snack bar Lots of photo opportunities. There's so much to do for the family and kids. I saw people bringing their dogs. There's an area with picnic tables that you can bring your own food and just chill. There's a food truck that sells tacos and hamburgers. Also a snack bar that sells water ($2) and dipping dot ice cream. As well as corn in a cup. It can get really hot inland so bring a hot, put on sun screen, and bring water.

This makes for a fun day trip & can easily be coupled with a quick visit into Julian for some delish apple cider & pie! A perfect stop to bring younger kids & dogs. Lots of open space. However, if you're with an older group, such as all adults or teenagers, I'd recommend a larger pumpkin patch with food & rides like Bates Nut Farm. FYI- there are 2 dogs that roam freely around this pumpkin patch (super friendly & chill) but if anyone in your group isn't comfortable around dogs, just be aware. +PROS: -Dog friendly! We brought our 20lb terrier mix here on leash the whole time & she had a great time! -Goat maze (yes, there are goats on the farm!) -Other animals- pigs, bison, chicken, horses to see -Fun, tall corn maze with some Halloween decor throughout -Corn cannon where you can shoot corn out of a cannon...awesome -Friendly staff -Lots of cute areas for pics -No parking or admission fee (we came on a weekday) -CONS: -I don't think you can feed the animals -Pumpkin patch was sparse...not a lot of pumpkins laid out -Small pumpkins available in the indoor space -No food/drinks available for sale -Not much outdoor seating -No hay rides

Neat place... Mountain Valley Ranch has a cool pumpkin patch that has a lot activities for the whole family... corn maze, corn cannon, a animal petting zone, and hayrides. The barn was decorated for the season with animatronics among a myriad of pumpkins and gourds. Prices are very reasonable for the cravable squash we love to place on our porches. Overall , a fun and ghoulish visit.

A cute small pumpkin farm. They have plenty of pumpkins for sale. They have a corn maze, corn shooting and pony rides. Bring ear plugs or some noise canceling headphones if you plan on doing the corn shooting. So many animals to see: goats, bison, turkeys, peacocks, sheep and more. I love the cute goat maze they have set up!

This is our go to pumpkin patch! They have everything you could want and then some. It's never overcrowded here like most patches during the season and is really big. There's a ton of photo opps, a corn maze, and a corn shooter. They provide wagons for your pumpkins too that are so charming! We always make a whole day date out of it since they are so close to Julian.

Dog-friendly and so much for humans to love, too! The bestest boy, Knox, and I visited this week to get him in the Halloween spirit, and we had a blast!

A bit different than years past, no corn gun for us and just a quick run through the fields, but love MVR! Looking forward to making it out one Friday night next Fall to see their roping competitions!

Flowers were in bloom and they did offer raspberries, but also said that was slim as well. Sure enjoy, with 3 people and 6 eyes, we were able to fill up. You pre-pay and then they give you your container. Walk around and you can come here to pick different fruits during different seasons. Guess what, they have a petting zoo inside as well! How cool! If there is food available and they haven't been fed too much, you can grab a scoop and feed away! Staff was friendly and very helpful in navigating, especially when you forget where you are supposed to walk to in order to pick your fruit. I would say it is about farmer's market pricing, definitely not on the cheaper scale but you are paying for quality here. Can't wait to come back! We came here in August 2025, and then my Husband brought his mother and siblings here in October 2025. They loved it as well. Plenty of parking, although dirt parking, easy to get in and out. Highly recommend if coming to Julian. This is a landmark/staple of Julian to visit.

The animals are very cute , but some of them are a little more aggressive for food so watch out ! Overall we loved the experience we had! So many places to walk and take pictures! It is located in Valley Center, so be prepared for your trek. I always go with plenty of snacks, food and water. Having celiac means the food tents will not have options for any food restrictions, but maybe if you're lucky you can get a lemonade for $13 or something. Be prepared to shell out exorbitant amounts for any purchases. The pumpkin patch is a great place to get fall pictures, but the prices are wild. The rides are about $5 each for a minute or two. The bounce obstacle course was $5 for three times running through. It was unreasonable. The gift shop sold the cheapest temu crappy toys for $20!! Buy you're own toys at Walmart and bring them with you to keep the kids happy. I can buy junk on my own. The nuts and candy and dried fruits are probably the only thing I am ok with buying. It's about the price of Sprouts or Whole Foods. I'll usually buy my kiddo a treat and steer him away from the insanity of the price tags of the crappy toys and we're good to go.
