All staff members have been incredibly professional, kind, and informative. When I call to make an appointment, they are often able to see me that day, especially when my cat was very sick. I discovered they aren't honoring the expiration dates on their medication. They sold me a 6 month supply of nexguard. My cat had medicine currently in her system. and it was advised that I wait to apply more. Now despite the label giving me until 7/2027 the contents inside are expiring. Don't buy medicine from them. Shame on you! I was also advised that I shouldn't have made an appointment if she didn't need the medicine right away. I got the medicine so I would not have to worry living in the country. I made the appointment so that I could get her a sedative for the drive to move out of state. How dare them twist everything to their advantage despite the outside of the box displaying an inaccurate expiration date. So they excuse themselves of any responsibility in the dates they provide. They just let meds expire sitting on their shelf? Wrong! read more

They also really take the time and explain everything. They don't over charge for unnecessary procedures, they really work with you as far as the bill goes. Recently I had a visit with my previous vet which was a vaccine update and wellness check. The "vet" never engaged nor touched my dog. However, since that vet wasn't willing to add one additional vaccine it left the door open for me to discover Mountain View! I wish YELP had a higher star rating. When you walk through the door you are met with a friendly smile and a warm greeting. Upon meeting Dr. Vigue we knew we had found our new veterinarian. She made us and our pets feel so safe and cared for. She speaks in terms that a non medical person can understand. As the CEO/Founder of an animal rescue it is most important to find a veterinarian and staff that have compassion and doesn't mind working with rescued animals. {Yes many do and won't} With our latest rescue Precious {a paralyzed French Bulldog} we had no idea she would surprise us with being pregnant. We have been there weekly for visits for Dr. Vigue to monitor her progress. On January 29th Precious went into surgery for her babies to be delivered via c-section and it was an amazing evening filled with so much kindness and love. Mountain view was amazing, my dog was throwing up blood and when I called the girl that picked up was extremely helpful and actually tried to help me assess whether or not he needed to be taken in. Turned out he did need to get seen, so they were nice enough to squeeze us in. Once there, the doctor looked at my dog and after some questions and quick assessment brought us a estimate on what he recommended. It was a little out of my price range, and he quickly helped us figure out exactly what he needed most and we got that done for him. I am forever thankful to this clinic for going the extra mile to help us out. Not many places will do that for you and my little guy is 14 years old now and 2 years ago we hit a financial downside that prevented me from being able to do everything they were recommending, but for the doctor to to a little further assessment to help us decide what we really needed done the most off that list was something I'll always appreciate. Dr. Sara and her team are absolutely amazing! I have a 68 pound golden doodle who is very reactive. He hurt his leg Wednesday night and I sent in an email to see if they had any openings. By 9am Thursday, bear had been seen by Dr. Sara and her staff. I'm always a little anxious bringing him to the vet because he is so reactive but they took him in without a problem. We first met Dr. Vigue at a clinic nearly 1.5 hours away. We'd been making the drive because we couldn't find a local vet we felt comfortable with, and the owner of that practice was the only one we trusted. When he was unavailable one day, we were referred to Dr. Vigue. I was hesitant because we didn't know her, and one of our dogs was a very unique case with a lot of issues. I immediately felt comfortable with Dr. Vigue, so much so that when our other dog needed to be put to sleep, we specifically requested to have Dr. Vigue do the procedure. She made it such a comfortable and peaceful experience. We were elated when she moved to MVAH in Simi. She and her staff have taken the absolute best care of a high needs dog and newly diabetic and very finicky/anxious senior cat. A few months ago, our dog started having issues again. Dr. Vigue spent so much time with us and with her. She was honest and upfront, she let us ask a million questions without judgment or rushing us, and she would even go out of her way to call to follow up and check in after she was referred to specialists or emergency care. Unfortunately, after seeking emergency care last month, we discovered our dog needed to be put down. We drove our dying dog from the ER vet (where they kept referring to her as "the pet" and tried to get us to agree to expensive treatment even after telling us she almost for sure wouldn't survive) to MVAH (where they greeted her by name, accommodated us immediately, and cried with us as we said goodbye) because we only felt comfortable with Dr. Vigue being the one to help us say goodbye. Although it was one of the worst moments of our lives, we felt so much love and support from the entire staff. There were so many incredible personal touches and support from MVAH both during and days after we said goodbye to our girl, and I couldn't be more grateful. This is truly a special place with the most special staff. We are very happy to have a local vet we trust again, and we know our cat and any future pets are in the best hands with Dr. Vigue and her amazing staff! read more
