The staff is so gracious here. It's more than I've found in other pet facilities in Simi Valley. Dr Anush and her staff are wonderful. It's truly evident when you are there waiting and observing. Dr Anush treated my pet with a level of expertise and compassion that I have not experienced in many years. Other Vets could take a learning lesson from her. Thank you all for your kindness with me and my sweet girl Ember.

Came here the other day because my girl was having an upset stomach. Everyone was so lovely and helpful. The vet herself was incredible and was very supportive of how anxious my dog was. Would 100% recommend if you need an urgent care visit for your pup

We had a great experience at Simi Valley Animal Urgent Care. Our Pit named Blue had an allergic reaction with some pretty severe swelling, and the staff took such good care of her. They were calm, kind, and so sweet with Blue, which really helped us feel reassured during a stressful time. A special thank you to Brandi--she was amazing and went above and beyond. We truly appreciate the care they gave and highly recommend this clinic.

Staff here is super sweet and caring. Dr. Anush was amazing with our girl. We were able to text any questions and pictures after the visit. Just an all around great experience during a stressful moment.

Came in with my girl who was experiencing unexplained bleeding. We arrived worried and confused but left informed and reassured. Dr. Anush and her team were incredibly kind, attentive, and thorough in their care. They took her full medical history into account when making a diagnosis, and thanks to their attention, my girl is now back to her normal self. Highly recommend!

Our naughty boy, having no idea what was in store for him.

This morning, I had to bring my 18-year-old dog, Sunny, to be put to sleep. I was very emotional and I was placed in a room shortly after our arrival so we could have privacy. Sunny had late stage kidney disease but for the past year, Skyline provided us with excellent care. They were always available for questions and allowed me to come in on short notice for multiple appointments. They didn't immediately push me to see a special internal medicine doctor, which would have prolonged Sunny's suffering as well as my own stress. The Skyline staff was with me every step of the way. I can't thank Dr. Messri enough for his kindness today. He explained everything clearly and was so gentle to Sunny as she passed. I can tell Dr. Messri, Dr. Cyrus, and the staff work really hard and truly care about their patients. I look forward to receiving care for my other dog, Mona, for many years to come.

I recently moved to So Cal from No Cal and started a new vet relationship. I explained to Dr. C what the pups experience had been and what I needed. I thought that went well. Scheduled a follow up visit to check in and review protocol as this is when his allergies take a bad turn. I specifically requested Dr c again and was told to come on a Tuesday. I arrived 10 mind ahead of appt to give them time to check me in and to be respectful of their time. First - Dr C wasn't even scheduled to work that day. It appears they may have double booked as there was another couple waiting with their pup. We both were taken to a room and the other couple were seen right away. I waited over half an hour and nothing. When I stepped out to ask if the vet tech could at least vaccinate the pup that seemed to throw everyone for a loop. Please no it is a large and appears to be quiet office. Many people seem to have not a lot going on and it appeared as if I may be disturbing then rather that being a paying customer with a request. When after standing around and nothing seemed to be happening other than just wait around. I thought this wouldn't work and left and got what seemed not of pure intent with a have a good day. If you are a parent you know what I mean when I say tone wasn't genuine. Now I am not angry just disappointed at people lack if care and kindness. I chose to drive further looking for a responsive and kind business. For me, this is not it. I was able to start service with a new vet within 2 miles from where I live. My message, be kind but expect the same in return. If not, go somewhere else. That is all we can do.

I emphasized her seizure history MULTIPLE times during that call. They recommended NexGard and had me pay $75 for MDR1 testing plus a little over $100 for the medication. The problem: NexGard belongs to the isoxazoline class of flea/tick drugs, which carries an FDA warning against use in dogs with a history of seizures, since it can lower the seizure threshold. This is DIRECTLY on the medication's own label! The MDR1 test also isn't relevant to this risk, it screens for sensitivity to a completely different drug class. I raised my dog's seizures as the whole reason I called, and was still steered toward a medication that's SPECIFICALLY CAUTIONED against for dogs like her. I'm now out nearly $200 with no safe solution for her flea prevention, months later. Would like to see more care taken when a pet's medical history is flagged upfront. I would have rather they told me they do not have a solution for me rather than waste my time and money. I have attached screenshots of the emails that completely ignore my concerns. You can see the time stamps and how long I have tried to be patient and get answers. This has been going on for months. I'm so disappointed because I truly loved this vet before this experience.

When I got there, vet techs were waiting for me. Some of them took her back, and one took my story on what happened, and her symptoms. I had to call Pet Poison Line so they could tell the vets how to treat her-that's fine-and they wanted to do a full workup on her since she is 12. I said that's fine, that's what insurance is for. It was about 11pm when I was sent home to rest while they took care of her. At about two, they called me to tell me that she survived the nightshade poisoning, but they had found a thicker spot in her intestines in the x-ray, and they wanted to do follow-up images in the morning, so I got another estimate for them to keep her til the next day and run another round of x-rays and do an ultrasound. She stayed and I went back to sleep. In the morning, a very kind vet whose name I don't remember called me and went over what is happening and why that spot could be there. She gave me advice on how to proceed after today. She asked what food my cat eats so they could give it to her there too. I was kept in the loop the whole time from when I got there to when I picked her up at 4:30pm. It set me back about $3500. Thank God for pet insurance. But considering all they did and the overnight stay, not terrible. My cat's idiocy may have saved her bacon if we caught something early, but so did True Care's thoroughness.

She came to my home first thing the next morning. I was worried about my younger Golden Retriever jumping on her or interfering with her care, but she was absolutely wonderful with both of my dogs. She encouraged him to stay in the room with us once he was comfortable with her, and I truly believe that helped him understand what was happening. She was incredibly professional, but I'll never forget one small moment. Out of the corner of my eye, while I was saying my final words and paying my last tributes to my girl, I saw her quietly wiping tears from her eyes. As a healthcare provider myself, I know how often we're expected to wear a mask and stay composed. Seeing that genuine emotion didn't make her seem less professional, it reassured me that she truly cared. In those final moments, your mind races. You question whether you're making the right decision. Seeing her emotion gave me peace because I knew she wasn't simply going through the motions. I knew that if she believed my girl wasn't ready, she would have told me. Most of us are fortunate enough to experience this kind of heartbreak only a few times in our lives. She carries families through it over and over again. That takes an incredible amount of compassion. Thank you for your kindness, your empathy, and for helping my sweet Lilo leave this world peacefully and with dignity. Please take care of yourself, too. This is not my first review of our beloved Dr G, and I just recommended her to 6 more people again just these past 2 weeks. She's not only compassionate, present and knowledgeable, but also she does not oversell." Besides all the regular check ups, Dr G. has performed 2 substantial surgeries on my pup in the last 8 years, and has been extremely kind, providing valuable reassuring step-by-step updates throughout, especially aware that I had lost my beloved first dog, (with a different vet), when he did not make it through the anesthesia... In the 8 years Dr G. has been our one and only vet; everyone I have sent to Dr G. has fallen in love with her, and has thanked me for the referral. I trusted Dr G and her small compassionate team with the euthanasia of my precious second dog, Handsome. She is truly an Angel on Earth. At her Chatsworth location, I love that she's created a lovingly cozy "home environment" for the euthanasia experience. That it so needed during that deeply emotional time, and more veterinary offices ought to follow her example. I found her many years ago when I was dissatisfied with a busy veterinary front desk in Sherman Oaks, after they had made errors in my first dog's chart. Unfortunately he passed, and I learned that finding the RIGHT professional truly makes ALL the difference. So yes, I drive from Sherman Oaks. Gratefully so :) I am thankful that my cherished pups are her patients. Her ethics, her care, her kindness, her knowledge, her integrity - she's our number 1!!!

I did think that was quite the cash grab, but I gave them the benefit of the doubt. After the initial, the quote I received was around $900 for spay, which I thought was outlandish and simply decided to not return. (Spoiler: I was able to schedule elsewhere for TWO of my kittens for under $600) Anyway, it gets worse. Upon receiving a negative internal review from me, they called me to let me know that they happened to be running a promotion on spays. They also let me know there were some procedures they could probably take off to reduce the price (eg nail clipping). Convenient right? I let them know I already scheduled elsewhere, but I was potentially interested in a neuter. This is where it gets even more interesting. Naturally, they jumped on that possibility and "noticed" I didn't get the discounted initial appointment price for my first kitten because apparently I was supposed to mention she was a new patient. You mean I had to see on your website ahead of time and request the discount, rather than just give it to me because it's obvious it would be a first appointment? Ridiculous. But guess what? They were somehow willing to produce a quote for the neuter despite not having an initial appointment, like they required before for the spay. Not to worry, I went elsewhere, to an actual vet who specializes in cats (not a surgery center/spay neuter clinic) and paid around a quarter of the price for both of my kittens who are happy, healthy, and recovering nicely. I don't have enough good things to say about the Doctor P who was so intelligent, experienced and did not BS around giving us false hopes or torturing our cat with extra tests/procedures (and pain and suffering along with it) to prolong his life. In a very delicate way, she confirmed what we've been suspecting for a while now and made this decision a little easier to make, even though it's never easy, no matter how ready you think you are. This is not optional or cosmetic--it's a serious diagnostic test. Yet the Banfield location in Chatsworth (91311) acted like scheduling it was a burden. They pushed back, resisted, and initially refused to book the appointment. It took a manager from another Banfield hospital calling them just to get an appointment made for today. That alone tells you how poorly this location is managed. When I arrived, I was 20 minutes late. I understand punctuality matters, but what happened next was unacceptable: they immediately used that as an excuse to refuse to perform the test, with zero effort to help or problem-solve. An LDDS test involves timed blood draws every 4 hours, so a professional clinic would explain options clearly, offer a modified plan if possible, or at minimum reschedule in a reasonable way. Instead, they acted like they were looking for a reason to turn us away. The practice manager, Katie, was hostile, dismissive, and confrontational. Her behavior was not just "busy" or "having a bad day"--it was outright disrespectful. I asked for the next available date or any alternative appointment, and she refused to schedule anything. No solutions. No accountability. No concern for my dog's health. Just attitude. Bottom line: If your pet needs real medical attention and you expect basic professionalism, avoid this Banfield in Chatsworth. They wasted my time, added stress during a health issue, and showed zero empathy or willingness to help. I will not be returning, and I strongly suggest you take your pet to a clinic that actually cares and behaves professionally.
