I brought in my 2024 Subaru Outback XT because I was hearing a squeal from the left rear wheel and assumed it was the low brake pad warning. I asked them to replace the pads if they were worn. They called me back shortly after inspection and told me the pads were actually in great shape -- not even close to needing replacement. Some debris had worked its way in and cleared out during inspection. No upsell, no unnecessary work. Brakes were fine. They also noticed I was at the 42K service interval and offered to take care of that while the car was there. I dropped it off at 8:00 AM and picked it up by 9:30 AM. Fair price, fast turn. Great service, honest assessment, efficient turnaround, and genuinely good people. I'm glad to have found a reliable local option for car repairs in Winter Park.

I did get the sense that they value putting a customer into the right car and will take the time to try and do so. I saw other Yelp reviews for Flatirons Imports under its other name Flatirons Subaru, and I'm not the only person who spent a lot of time with a salesperson test driving models and did not end up buying that time around. I think for the patience of the salespeople here, they may not always make a sale that day or that time, but they are earning long term customers who will come back next time and buy.
