I brought in my 2024 Subaru Outback XT because I was hearing a squeal from the left rear wheel and assumed it was the low brake pad warning. I asked them to replace the pads if they were worn. They called me back shortly after inspection and told me the pads were actually in great shape -- not even close to needing replacement. Some debris had worked its way in and cleared out during inspection. No upsell, no unnecessary work. Brakes were fine. They also noticed I was at the 42K service interval and offered to take care of that while the car was there. I dropped it off at 8:00 AM and picked it up by 9:30 AM. Fair price, fast turn. The customer service is amazing! My husband and I came to Winter Park for a short ski get away. He has a 2021 Jeep (brand new) we got in the car the next morning after arriving the night before and the check engine light went on and then all the service lights started going on. It was an extremely cold evening, getting down to - 20. We got back in the car after skiing and the check engine light was off. This occurred two more times. He called Winter Park Fraser Tire and Auto, they let him come by and ran the check engine light diagnostic. He quickly diagnosed the issue, the cold weather created a short in the electrical. My tire blew out on Saturday night and I got a tow to Fraser tire and auto, I left a message with someone that night explaining the issues and asking when I'll be able to get a tire. Without hesitation, he said Monday. Monday morning comes around, I drive and hour and a half to get up here early and they said the soonest they would have a tire for my car would be the following day. We decided that we would just go get a tire and come back. After we drove 2 1/2 hours to go get a tire and come back, we're given a 6 hour waiting time for a single tire. Completely stupid. Not only was i deliberately told that I would get my car finished on Monday, but I was delayed, and had to go to a different tire shop despite me offering to take the old tire off my car, and driving to pick up a tire on their behalf. do not go to Fraser tire if you're not a local, you will be skewered. read more

These guys helped me out all the way back in March. I meant to leave a review way earlier but things got in the way. I found the their receipt when cleaning my car and decided to write it now because of how nice and helpful these guys were. I busted my tire leaving town on my last day of spring break. Luckily I had a run-flat, so I was able to make it back in to their shop. They explained to me how backed up they were with everybody coming in for spring break. They told me they had 11 locals come in THAT DAY. I explained to them that I had to get back home ASAP and that I would appreciate anything they could do for me. Nevertheless, they told me it would be at least a couple of days before they could even get the order for my tire and even longer before they could work on my car. I dont know how they did it but they called me the following afternoon to tell me that my car was ready to go. I would avoid. I had a possible foreign object in a cylinder and towed the vehicle to this shop. They indicated they bore-scoped the cylinder and nothing was found. They quoted ~$800 to replace plugs and wires. When I declined the additional service, I paid $200 for the scope diagnostic and picked up the vehicle. They had driven it from their secondary location to their primary location for me to pick it up. Another shop did the plug replacement and found multiple pieces of metal in the plug well and cylinder. I don't believe they did any work on the vehicle. read more

My friend and I caught a flat tire literally a few hours before we needed to leave to return to Denver to fly home. These guys saved my butt. My son was at a running camp in Keystone and I was staying in Winter Park. I needed to pick him up the next morning and drive home to Illinois. My bearings went out the night before. I arrived as soon as they opened and explained my situation. After a little wait they got my truck in and looked at. They were able to get the parts and get it fixed. They were super busy, but they helped me out a ton. They saved me additional costs of having to stay additional nights and flying my son back by getting my truck fixed the same day. Above and beyond guys. I can't tell you how grateful I am. I took my Jeep in for what I thought was going to be a new alternator and they 1st said they could not get to it till 5:30 I had to drop it off at 1:00 and by 1:30 they called me to say they couldn't find anything wrong with it and come get it. They could have said yeah you need a new alternator and charge me for it. Which I have had mechanics in the past try and do that. But they didn't charge me anything. Our engine light came on just as we were heading back down the mountain after a week in Winter Park. Rather than risk it or run to a dealership down in Denver, we turned around and called the nearest auto shop to town. Not only did Matthew know our year, make and model cold, he immediately offered to have us come in for a diagnostic scan. Apparently, some idiot (*raises hand sheepishly*) had not screwed the engine cap on properly after they added oil last. Also apparently, engines need a tight seal to compress properly. WHO. KNEW?! Rather than give me the run-around or drag the process out, Matthew immediately spotted the issue, screwed the cap back on, and scanned the car again. Of course, the engine light disappeared immediately. He then checked our oil level for us (at least the idiot had gotten that part right), wished us well, and was going to send us on our way for nothing. No charge. Given how bad that could have been, given we were back on the road in less than 30 minutes after the engine light came on, and given how much smack he could have talked on me for such an amateur mistake (I didn't even get a LOOK), I had to drop next door, pull out a $20 tip, and "threaten" to write this here! These guys are consummate professionals, know their craft, can ply their trade and are excellent with people. I highly recommend them to anyone with automotive issues. If you are in the mountains and need help, call this shop. They will take care of you and give you the best service possible. I am certain of it. read more

I had brought my brand new wheel into them to get a nail pulled out of the tire that happened the day off. they were quick to get me in and they were super nice until i received my wheel back. when I got it back the entire inside lip of my wheel was destroyed and every single spoke has paint chips and scuffs on them like somebody dropped it face down onto the concrete or dirt. I expressed my problem to them and they denied that they did it and said that they did nothing to the wheel and that it was caused by me hitting a curb. Complete bullsh*t to be honest. these were brand new wheels as of 6 days before I brought it in and when i bought them i checked every inch of them and the damage was not there. I even carried the wheel in with my bare hands and i know there was no damage there. 0/10 would not recommend you bring anything to this ungrateful business. they will damage your things and not take any responsibility. We were visiting the area, and our tire light went on. We found this business online, called ahead, and they told us they'd wait until 5 pm as they were closing. When we arrived, they were all pleasant, professional, and even stayed after closing to find the nail we picked up somewhere in our tire. I was visiting Winter Park with the family when we woke up to a dead battery and flat tire. I gave Winter Park Fraser Tire and Auto a call and they sent a mechanic out to replace our battery, after testing and making sure the old battery did in fact need to be replaced and not just charged. The flat tire ended up just being low tire pressure from the drop in temperature but the mechanic took our SUV back to the shop to make sure everything was good to go and air up the tires.
