Heidi was very complimentary and informed me about how to get to my room. The rooms were comfortable and warm. This is the first place I've ever stayed where I really noticed how warm the house was kept. This was great, because it was a little chilly. We had a great conversation - Heidi was very friendly and informed me about the area. In the morning, I was offered pancakes, waffles, French toast, etc. I had the French roast and it came with bacon and pineapple. It was really yummy. I would definitely stay here again!

Even though apparently several other rooms were booked at the same time, we felt like we had the place to ourselves. The rooms were immaculately clean and had everything we needed, including a very comfortable bed. The decorating is minimal and isn't fussy but still made us feel at home. Breakfast in the morning was great--homemade waffles, fresh pineapple, and big serving of bacon. Would love to stay here again. Tip for finding the Inn: If you're driving from Canaan, look for the Inn's sign on the left or for the tractor crossing sign on the right side of the road.

It is not only clean, but also has super cool decor inside and outside! Owners Rob and Robbie are the best. They are professional, very personable and are two seriously amazing cooks!! The breakfast was SO on point. They provide a very nice assortment of options, and you leave that breakfast table feeling quite happy and satisfied. I also like the fact that they have chickens laying the fresh eggs we ate each morning. That was a real treat. The surrounding area is beautiful and there are lots of resources at the Inn to guide you with things to do. I truly loved our stay, and will definitely stay again. I highly recommend the Inn at Sweet Water Farm.

Interesting hosts, and guests . The breakfast is exceptional. My suggestion is to ignore ad hominem attacks at all times, and especially here. We graciously paid for our own accommodations, and will be coming back :Sweetwater is our go to in the Berkshires. The travel time to Tanglewood and/or Lenox is a bit longer than where we stayed in nearby Stockbridge, and worth it. It's also relatively easy to find your way to and from this quiet, gracious B and B

She was able to accomodate us and our almost 6 month old. She had a pack and play already set up in the room for us! Everything was clean. Quiet. The parfaits so simple and delicious. We enjoyed the rehearsal dinner on the porch of the building next to the large silo. It was right before sunset, so we got to enjoy the gorgeous view of the land, trees, and lake while the August sun went down. There was a lovely breeze and we enjoyed our meal under twinkling string lights. There were tons of beautiful flowers blooming around the grounds, and we enjoyed lawn games on the rolling green grass. The next day, for the ceremony, we were located down by the lake. The ceremony took place on a lawn in front of a beautiful old tree, facing the water. Afterwards, we made our way into the old barn and enjoyed cocktail hour and the reception. The space was well designed and the whole experience was magical; candles and simple draperies. A beautiful breeze flowed through the venue as the rumble of thunder echoed in the distance. Despite the thunderstorm that passed through, we were safe and dry inside the barn. All in all, one of the most beautiful and magical wedding venues I've seen.

Everyone here was so nice, and the hospitality made it feel like a home away from home. We were greeted with care with a welcome hot cider drink with rum to relax before checking in. Once we were all done, we went up to our room that had the balcony overlooking the lake. The room was nice and clean. The view from the room was pure bliss. Got a great view of the Harvest Moon as we were there that night. We never would have seen that back home. What's also nice is that breakfast was included. Every morning, there were different choices for breakfast along with pastries if we wanted. They even had pastries during the day if you wanted an extra treat. Every moment we interacted with anyone, we were greeted with kindness. And a shout out to Lori, who saved us with a recommendation to eat at Alta in Lenox for dinner. Overall, we really enjoyed our stay and the views and would highly recommend to anyone who is visiting the area. Lots to do and it's right near a bunch of great towns.
