We were not greeted nor spoken to in a courteous manner. We recognized the store personnel were busy assisting other customers so we took the initiative to look at shoes and found a design we liked. We brought the selection and waited until an attendant was available. The attendant was rude and condescending in tone, insisting I was mispronouncing the shoe brand name. I found this very unprofessional in how it was communicated as well as she thought it was necessary to bring this to my attention. I didn't appreciate this type of customer service. I will not return to this REI nor recommend it to my friends anymore.

The item feels cheaper quality of past northface items. Been a loyal customer with Northface ski pants, ski jackets, bike jackets, hiking shorts etc. Never been treated so poorly at a high end outdoor retailer before. I understand a No Return Policy at a low end retailer. Northface always stood for quality items & superior customer service. Northface must have been bought out by a Corporation that is bleeding the brand dry. My item was never worn, & had the original tag on. I tried to get a store credit, because I was going to buy a new North face ski jacket this winter. No resolution -just 60% of the receipt & I had to use the money same day. For pete's sake it is summer & they had no winter ski jackets in stock. The customer in front of me was having the same issue with no returns.

From the moment we walked in, she was incredibly welcoming, patient, and genuinely kind. She didn't just focus on making a sale she took the time to understand what my daughter was looking for and made the whole experience feel easy and enjoyable. What stood out to me the most was how respectful and attentive she was, not just to my daughter, but to me as well. It can sometimes feel like you're just "along for the ride" in these situations, but Olivia made sure I felt included and comfortable the entire time. She offered honest opinions, never pushed anything unnecessary, and clearly knew her stuff. As a parent, you really appreciate when someone treats your kid well and creates a positive environment and Olivia absolutely did that. She turned what could've been a quick, stressful shopping trip into a really great experience. Aritzia is lucky to have her. I'd gladly come back knowing she's there. I don't normally write reviews and take the time out of my day, but I feel like I should after seeing how happy my daughter is.
