When I arrived at Labrum Ford and test drove the truck the check engine light was on and had to be reset. All four tires were dry rotted. I agreed to a price based on everything being in good order. They would not negotiate on price as I had to drive 2000 miles back to Ohio and had to buy new tires. Halfway home in the morning the truck was dead. I had to buy a new battery ($420). Once home the truck was dead again (parasitic draw somewhere). This stealership KNEW there was an electrical problem and sold it to me without disclosing or fixing the issue. I now have to take it in to a repuatable dealership and pay out of pocket to have it repaired. Very dishonest and unethical dealership. I would advise to stay away from this dealership.

One hour goes by, the car had not moved. 2 hours and still it has not moved. A salesman finally went and inquired and shortly after that the car was finally taken back to the service area. Another hour and we were finally done. I should have just paid the money and had it serviced by the dealership that is 3 miles from my home. I give them 4 stars because the initial sale went smoothly. I deduct a star for the painfully slow service. Everyone was so kind and understanding. Although they were already quite busy, they took the time to listen and understand our dilemma, and presented me with options on different parts. Then they hustled to have the parts shipped over as quickly as possible and they repaired the car later that same day. As I was not satisfied with the service at a different dealership this time I went to Ken Garff for…read moremy 20K service. I scheduled an appointment online which was easy and quick. I chose Zach as my service advisor as I saw some positive feedback on Google about him. On the day of service I had to wait a couple of minutes as Zach was serving a customer in front of me. In the meantime and since others were around another service advisor asked me whether anyone has helped me out and I mentioned no, but said that I was waiting for Zach. Zach was friendly and properly set expectations. He showed me a couple of options (e.g. buy a pre-paid service package) but didn't try sell me into it at all. The service with multipoint inspection, oil, filter and air cabin filter change took the estimated 45-60 minutes. In the meantime I could use their waiting area and free WiFi to do some work and join a business call. I didn't need any coffee or refreshments but you could use it for free, too. At the end the bill was lower than the previously estimated $130. Just for curiosity I checked the price for the air cabin filter on Amazon afterwards. Of course it was 40% cheaper there, but I did expect that this would be the case and is in my mind ok for a $20-30 item. So bottom line and compared to my previous experience with other dealers I would return to Ken Garff and Zach. I hope this review is helpful for others who think about where to do service during the warranty period.

After looking at it they said the wheel bearing needed to be replaced and quoted us over $1000 for the job. We wanted a second opinion so we took it to another local shop. They put it up on the hoist and found that it was just an engine cover rubbing on the axle. They repositioned the cover and only charged us for one hour of labor (less than $200). I'll never take my vehicle to Ken Garff again.

There were hundreds of extra dollars of charges as separate line items for each service requested, that were blamed on a system error when asked about. 2. Attempted to double up on labor for multiple services. Labor was quoted separately for engine oil cooler replacement, thermostat replacement, and spark plug replacement, even though there is overlapping labor, adding hundreds of dollars in extra cost. 3. Nontransparent estimates with no explanation of charges (i.e. labor, parts, fluids). 4. Was told that the Jeep would be ready by the end of the week, but I had to call on Friday afternoon because I didn't hear anything. We dropped the vehicle off on Monday. No one answered the phone so I finally left a message asking for a status update. A bit later, I get an automated message saying it was ready, about 2 hours before the service department closed. Very shady business practices. People who are not knowledgeable about the work being performed, are likely getting screwed. If I had the time to do it myself before my wife needed to leave on a long trip, I wouldn't have even let them do the work after the untrustworthy behavior. We will never bring a vehicle back here.
