Wonderful experience with Doug Smith Jeep. I live in Southern California and purchased a Jeep 392 from them because they were the only place I could find that could order what I wanted. Friendly staff and wonderful service! They don't play games on the price! After a few upgrades I have the Jeep I've always wanted.

I absolutely love Doug smith! I will always buy my cars from this dealership. Chase the sales manager truly treated me like family and I've never seen it anywhere else. He was able to get me into my new to me MK7.5 GTI after we had some issues with my previous car. I will recommend anyone to this dealership !

Service department is horrible! Doug Smith had my Jeep Wrangler for 10 weeks on a warranty repair. I got the Jeep back but the repair isn't complete and now I have new issues. My Jeep spent most of that 10 weeks neglected in the parking lot, doors unlocked, windows down and taped over, and engine partially disassembled without any form of cover or protection. Nate Garrison, service manager, assured me this is normal and that he's "got 100 vehicles on the lot just like this." If that's really the case, I feel badly for all of the other owners in a similar situation, without their vehicles for months as they atrophy on this dealer's side lot. Only updates I'd get is by stopping by and waiting to speak to someone. Only once was I called back with information I'd asked about. Updates I could get were usually one or a mix of "waiting on parts," "wrong parts received," and "waiting on tech time." I finally get the Jeep back last week and there is an error message about battery charging on the main display, trouble starting with the remote, new scratches and scuffs all over the passenger fender, the fender liner is missing most of the attachment hardware, grille is scratched, fuse box won't close all the way because of a wire now routed through it, coolant drips on the suspension components, snapped fastener at an electrical connection, and a rather large bracket fell out of the engine bay when driving. I certainly don't trust Doug Smith and Nate Garrison's shop to make it right. You shouldn't either.

Started off great when my vehicle lost power going 75 mph due to failed recall part. Happened to be close to this dealer and they were great taking my truck in. It all went downhill from there- no return phone calls , emails, texts on progress reports. Ended when I finally received my truck back 2 months later with less than empty gas and totally dirty on out side. Asked for a wash and a little gas as I left it with them 2 months prior with more than a quarter tank. I was told there car was could not handle my standard size pickup truck. As I was leaving noticed a Dodge truck coming out of wash lol Never did get the gas. Never did get any response to assistance with rental truck charge since it was a recall part Dodge should have covered it. Never did get an apology, a phone call a we care but sorry. Bad dealer very disappointed. Was interested in buying a Jeep from them but this experience led me to buy from Larry Miller Customer service is so easy " communicate" Hilarious sign near reception maybe read it , live it , be it.. I will spend my money elsewhere won't be back.

They have a good deal for oil change packages. They do not schedule appointments for oil changes, so when I got there they said it would be about a 2 hour wait. They had some chairs inside and vending machines, but no real waiting area. I wish they had a more kid friendly waiting room. They say they include complementary car wash and vacuum with your oil change, but they did not do that today. I was super impressed that they got my car done in about an hour instead of 2 hours. I would have given them five stars today, but they did not wash and vacuum my car like they said they would. Overall, they had great customer service and were very friendly.

In my experience, they do not hear you -- they lie to you, ignore you, hang up on you, and make you feel like your concerns do not matter. I have purchased more than 20 vehicles in my lifetime, and I have never been treated with so much disrespect by a dealership. I ordered a custom Ford Bronco with a custom top, and what should have been an exciting purchase turned into weeks of mistakes, poor communication, and broken trust. I was originally scheduled to sign for the vehicle at noon, but the custom top had not been installed yet, so we postponed signing. That was not a big deal. Mistakes and delays happen. Once the work was supposedly complete, I signed and picked up the Bronco. When I asked my salesman, Joel, how to open the automatic top I purchased, he said the people who knew about it were gone and that he would let me know the next day. I had asked Joel several times before this to make sure he ordered the correct top, and he repeatedly assured me he had. The next day came, and I heard nothing from Joel. Once I figured out that the wrong top had been installed and texted him, he finally responded and said he had no idea what happened and that they would order the correct one. I was then told that, for the inconvenience, they would not charge me for the install, but that I still owed $2,000 more for the correct top. I was upset, but I understand mistakes happen, so I complied. Two weeks later, I was scheduled for the new top installation. The day before the appointment, Joel texted me and said the company had sent the wrong one again. I said there was no way this happened a second time, and I did not believe a third party had just randomly sent the wrong top again. I asked for the invoice, and Joel sent me a quote instead, as if I would not know the difference. At that point, I asked to speak with his manager. Hours went by with no call. I called the dealership, and Joel answered and addressed me by name because they had caller ID. He promised the manager would call me. Three hours went by, and no one called. I called the dealership again and was hung up on. I called again and was hung up on again. This happened three times. I texted Joel, and he said the manager, Kellen, would call before he left. Kellen never called. I had given this dealership no reason to treat me so poorly or disrespectfully. I was simply trying to get the vehicle and custom top I ordered and paid for. That night, I called corporate. The next day, my finance guy called and said he was handling it now. He admitted Joel had ordered the wrong top again. I was told it was ordered and would be here when it got here. I then waited days trying to get a tracking number and had to keep begging for updates because I had surgery coming up and needed the top installed beforehand. The poor communication continued. The finance guy also started ignoring me when I told him my trade-in had still not been paid off and it was getting close to 30 days. This dealership took 35 days to pay off my trade-in loan, which almost caused me to have a 30-day late payment. The correct top was finally installed after my surgery, so my husband had to pick it up. No one showed him how to use it. No manager greeted him. No one apologized for the mistakes, the lies, the delays, or the way I had been treated. This entire experience ruined the excitement of buying a new vehicle. The salesman could not do his job correctly, ordered the wrong top twice, lied about what happened, and then I was ignored, hung up on, and ghosted by management. The overall attitude felt like, "Just deal with it." Ken Garff says, "We Hear You." Based on my experience, they do not hear you. They lie to you, ignore you, hang up on you, and make excuses. I will never buy another vehicle from Ken Garff Ford in American Fork, and I would strongly caution anyone considering this dealership to think twice.

I am extremely disappointed with the service I received from Doug Smith Kia…read more On June 15, I brought my 2023 Kia EV6 to the dealership for two warranty concerns: two pieces of exterior trim were falling off, and my over-the-air navigation updates were not working. I was told the trim parts would be ordered, a USB drive would be obtained for the navigation update, and someone would call me when everything was ready. Six weeks passed, and I never received a single phone call. I then called the dealership myself and left three separate messages, none of which were ever returned. While I was away on a trip, my car was parked in an airport parking garage. When I returned, the left rear camera had fallen back into the bumper. I took it to Doug Smith Kia expecting a warranty evaluation. The technician's own inspection video states that the camera bracket had separated from the bumper. However, I was then told by the service parts manager that the bracket had been "tampered with" and was therefore not covered under warranty. No convincing evidence was provided to support that claim, yet I was charged nearly $600 for the repair. To make matters worse, the original reason I brought the vehicle in still hasn't been resolved. The dealership was unable to complete the navigation update, even using their own equipment. So after multiple visits, weeks of waiting, ignored phone calls, and nearly $600 out of pocket, I still have a navigation system that doesn't function properly. The most frustrating part of this experience wasn't just the cost--it was the complete lack of communication and accountability. Promises to call were never kept. Messages were never returned. Warranty concerns were dismissed without a satisfactory explanation. I expected far better service from a Kia dealership. I chose Kia because I believed I was buying a quality vehicle backed by quality service. Unfortunately, this experience has seriously damaged my confidence in both Doug Smith Kia and the Kia brand.

This link sent Wednesday morning said the auto would be ready by 6pm from the get go & never seemed to have anything happen on it so I didn't understand why I had been sent it or told to rely upon it. At 4pm I tried to call for an update but no one answered repetitively. I sowed up at a quarter to 6 pick up, the service rep listed on the link was gone, my auto was not ready...I still had to take it. Apparently the parts that had been confirmed to be in stock before the appointment was made were now being ordered in??? Do ya'll not have an inventory of what parts are promised to scheduled Appt. that then auto orders a replacement when one is used? Or at least tells some one to order it ASAP when it is used? If not then what was the purpose of confirming the parts were in stock before making the appointment? And don't try saying someone else got there for the same repair on the same day before me as I dropped off the night before & if two of us did that then your inventory system should have required you to have two in stock to make two such appointments or again what was the point in confirming the parts in stock??? Frustration out :( A 2nd appt was made for the next day off--this time I would stay in the lobby not because I didn't have a dozen other things to do but because the person who had picked me up for the first drop off was out of town. Also I was concerned that if I didn't stay physically present they might again need to order a part that they had again said they already had. The lobby was nice enough.
