They even have a tv screen for entertainment while getting treated. Durrel has great energy when he calls your name to walk in. He also made the entire process enjoyable with his positive energy and efficient X-ray scans. I wholeheartedly recommend Blush Dental for anyone seeking exceptional dental care. I was scheduled to have crowns done, but when I arrived, I was told they had lost my paperwork and didn't know which teeth needed to be filled. Crazy of me to still go through with the service, right? After the appointment, I started having minor pain and bleeding in the same teeth they worked on. I called to schedule a follow-up and was told I could come in that Friday. They called and texted nonstop for me to confirm the appointment--just to later call me back saying the doctor would be performing a surgery and they didn't want me waiting long. So what was the point of scheduling me or making me confirm if the appointment wasn't valid? Now I'm being told the doctor won't have availability for another two weeks. It's frustrating and unprofessional. On top of that, while sitting in the office, you can clearly hear staff asking other patients to change their appointment times as well. Once they fix the issues they created in my mouth, I will not be returning to this practice.

I really enjoy their model of making "going to the dentist" not a boring chore. The facilities are clean and pretty, featuring "The Brushery" after you get checked in. They give you a free toothbrush and toothpaste in a travel size carrying bag when you come for the first time. They also offer select TV episodes to watch while you are in the treatment room. I liked that the staff weren't too forceful selling their services, for example the dentist referred me to a dental surgeon for a consult. They gave me helpful dental hygiene tips and my teeth are looking shinier than ever! I am coming back in October for a follow-up.

On my first visit, the hygienist was in and out of the room multiple times without saying anything. Then, they told me I needed a "special cleaning" not covered by insurance. I asked why and they just said "you need it". The dentist came in and said I had 5 teeth with "severe decay" and even more with. Cracks and cavities. Again, I see the dentist every 6 months and had not heard this before. I then tried to leave and they wouldn't let me. Lastly, a hygienist came in my room to go over treatment plans, gets halfway done and then goes "oh wait, wrong patient!" She laughed and then left the room. Glad they care about HIPPA! I told them not to charge my card on file, that I'd call with my HSA card and they said okay. Five minutes later they charged my card on file. Do not go here unless you want to be scammed.

I have had a frustrating experience transitioning to this practice…read more First, when I spoke to someone on the phone to schedule my initial appointment, I was told my first visit would include a cleaning. I arrive and then am asked to complete paperwork I already filled out online. Once I get to the back I am told we are waiting for the hygienist because they are backed up and then am told the cleaning won't happen and that I would need to come back in multiple weeks because the hygienist was going on vacation. I tell them that I was told by the person who set up my appointment that my cleaning would happen in the same appointment and then they say well they aren't the ones who schedule so can't be blamed. Y'all are the same practice so I would hope the right hand knows what the left is doing. Then when I go to pay and check out, I am told there is in fact an appointment the next day, which I take so I can get the cleaning that I was promised that day. During my initial appointment, I inquired about teeth whitening and was told that I should do my cleaning first and that it may be some time since the hygienist I was working with was preparing for time off. Again, when I went to pay and check out, additional charges were for my cleaning were added for toothpaste and mouth wash that I didn't ask for but made it seem like it was part of the process. Additionally, I was told there was in fact an appointment for teeth whitening the following week which I took. Now this is the real reason I am frustrated and why I am writing this lengthy review. I was told that it would take two hours for the process and it in fact took 3. The hygienist has multiple other things going on and took way longer between each 15 minute sessions to reset. She blamed me for not timing the bell and I in fact rang the bell but never got a response. During the whitening visit, I was supposed to get a whitening tray but they said they broke it and I would need to come back Monday morning (it was a Saturday) and it would be ready. So I come back Monday early afternoon on a work break and then am told they won't have it ready and that I should've called before coming even though the hygienist said it would be ready and I would need to pick it up. Once it is finally ready, I learn that I didn't even get all the materials I was supposed to get including a case and another hygienist apologized and gave me the orientation on how to use the whitening and soothing gel which should've been explained by my previous hygienist. Furthermore, its been two months since the cleaning. I feel like my teeth haven't whitened. The money and time and difficult process has made me question if it was worth the insurance and out of pocket expenses. Lastly, they asked for feedback and to share it with them before posting. I shared my feedback with no response so I am posting here. I will not be returning.

I used their conscious sedation protocol and found the treatment was painless. Dr Raymond is a compassionate skilled professional who puts his patients concerns first and does excellent work. I initially saw an endodontist who diagnosed me with issues involving my two front teeth--one tooth…read morethat needed a root canal, and the other tooth that needed retreatment. This doctor ultimately said one of the teeth might need to be extracted later on. Because it was a significant and concerning diagnosis, I told him I would like to get a second and third opinion, which he fully supported. After some research, my husband found Modern Endodontics of Buckhead. Their website emphasizes "advanced technology," "compassion," and a "patient-centered approach," which gave me hope. Per their website:..."they (modern endodontics of Buckhead) care for each patient from the first phone call all the way through follow-up treatment ....." Unfortunately, my actual experience was far from what they advertise. From the first phone call, the front desk staff--particularly one individual--was very dismissive and unhelpful. I got the distinct impression that she was more focused on her upcoming vacation than trying to help me. I explained that I was seeking an unbiased third opinion and that I already had two recent 3D scans and doctors' notes. However, she was adamant that Dr. Raymond required scans taken only in their office. I completely understand that some providers prefer to use their own imaging systems, and I even offered to take a third scan, if needed. All I asked was that the doctor at least review the scans I had already paid for before making that determination. I also tried to find out his availability to come in for an initial consultation. However, she did not want to put me on the schedule until the doctor had reviewed the documentation I provided. I put effort into sending all these images and information without knowing whether I would actually be seen. Per Modern Endodontic's of Buckhead's website, "Dr. Raymond starts by reviewing your medical history, taking radiographs (x-rays), performing an oral examination, and doing diagnostic tests." Instead, it seems Dr. Raymond reviewed a report from one of my prior doctors--without ever speaking to me, reviewing my scans, or examining me in person. According to the receptionist, Dr. Raymond's recommendation was to extract both teeth and that he didn't want me to have to spend extra money. I was very confused. How could a provider make such a serious recommendation without even examining the scans they insisted were necessary, let alone evaluating me in person? And I much rather keep my teeth as long as I can and spend the money. Making a diagnosis without that interaction is not thorough--it's dismissive. When I asked how he arrived at that conclusion, the receptionist simply said, "He can just tell." When I mentioned that another endodontist believed a root canal was still a viable option for one tooth, she responded, "I don't know. That's just what he said." Trying to get any clarity or meaningful assistance from the front office was frustrating and demoralizing. In the end, my husband pointed out this may have been a blessing in disguise. And I agree. I wouldn't feel comfortable entrusting my dental care to a provider who refuses to review available information or make a diagnosis without seeing his patients-- and whose staff treats patients with such disregard. And I saved $450 for the consultation. Unfortunately, my experience with Modern Endodontics of Buckhead was unprofessional, unwelcoming, and disappointing. I cannot recommend this practice.
