I did a lot of checking around before I committed to using The Mouthpiece Guy. Over the last 5 years of competing in MMA I have had some damaged teeth due to inferior products. I knew even before I ordered that I was getting a quality product but what I did not know was how great the quality of service would be. I ordered the extra kits and I recommend you do the same. I loved the fact that they checked the impression before sending it. I screwed up twice. Totally my fault but the extra kits allowed me to get it done the 3rd time. From the time they received the package to the time it was shipped was 7 business days just as the stated. Keep in mind this is happening during the pandemic which is causing delays every where. Package got from the West Coast to the East coast in 2 days. I received back my impression as well as the mouth piece. I am utterly blown away by the fit. I have never had a mouthpiece that I can speak clearly with. As an Instructor I need to be able to go from training to teaching rather quickly. This guy means business. Kept in touch via email at every step of the way so you are never misinformed about where your guard is in the process, in fact emails were sent to follow up with me after he sent them to make sure I was checking the mail for any mishaps. True quality. A little expensive but you pay for what you get and there is no better feeling then being able to take hits to the chin and not automatically feeling like someone broke your jaw cause your bite isn't balanced as I bite down on any random mouth piece from the store. Long review made short / time is of the essence (COVID definitely didn't help) but I understand how it it is when you have to play catch up. If you want to save a buck time will be the biggest turn off (if you have the money he makes that turn around much quicker) guard feels strong and fits perfect, definitely looking forward to getting another with a design. My son, who boxes, just received his mouthguard in the mail today. It was a PERFECT fit, fitting securely all the way up to the gums. It snapped right into place. From the second I ordered the mouthguard, EVERY SINGLE STEP AND DIRECTION was clearly laid out for us. Mouthpiece Guy videos are excellent at explaining in detail how to do the molds, how to return them etc...EXCELLENT communication. This is a high quality mouthguard and my son needs it to protect the $7,000 crowns he has has on his two front teeth. First off I like to start by saying the quality of this mouthpiece cannot be compared too there competitors. The fitment and quality is perfect I've had other mouthpieces in the past that would fall out if I opened my mouth just plan uncomfortable and not offering protection for combat sports. I started the first process (the mold) and was informed they were on vacation and this may affect orders. I did my mold sent the approval pictures and by my surprise had my mold approval the next business day. I sent my mold in and within a week I had the best custom mouthpiece ever! I also got a custom wrap design that far exceeded my expectations it looked cool on my laptop but I was blown away by the graphics hands down I will buy all my future mouthpieces from THE MOUTHPIECE GUY. I've used other custom mouth guard brands like impact and mouthguarddoc. As well as several boil & bites like damage control and shock doctor. I've probably tried about every brand you can name when it comes to boil & bites. Mouthpiece guy is by far the best fitting mouthpiece on the planet. It's so snug, you almost forget your wearing a mouthpiece while sparring (I personally use it for boxing) super easy to breath with it on. I've had mine for about 5 years and it's still just as amazing. The only problem if you could even call it that is that it's often extremely hard to take off due to the fit being so perfect. read more

How a mouthpiece is supposed to fit!! Absolute perfection. I've had many custom Mouthguards in the past and this one fits a little more snug than others. I needed help with my impression and had to reorder the putty but I called and got a 30min tutorial on exactly what to do. I just got the two mouthpieces I ordered, and I can't say enough about how great they turned out! Not only was the dental impression at the office done professionally and efficiently, but the mouthpieces fit perfectly! Additionally, I received instructions on the proper care and final mold of the mouthpieces along with the dental impression so that I can get another in the future. Excellent guard. I've tried all types of off the shelves mouth pieces, From everlast to shockdoctor. None have made me feel as secure as this one. Received my mouthpiece last night from USPS and performed the final fitting. The guard fits great and is super comfortable. Had a chance to train (Brazilian Jiu Jitsu) in it this morning and it was almost unnoticeable. I was coming off of a competitor mouthpiece that was super bulky in comparison. Jeff and his team do a great job custom fitting and designing these mouthguards. After needed a root canal and crown done on a tooth that suffered from impact trauma, I decided it was time to get a custom mouthguard and stop using a boil fit mouthguards.
