I was referred by a friend whom Ofer worked on three of his homes. I first called him to ask if he would do a job in Azusa. He saif yes and therefore I scheduled a job two weeks out and discussed over the phone my needs and plan for my home. The plan was for him to put in some recessed lights and organize the main electrical box. Ofer called a few days prior to the appointment to confirm the job details. I definitely appreciated this planning and double checking to make sure I was still available! On the day of the job, Ofer came with one other associate and we went over the plans again to confirm. I had additional electrical issues that came up from when I talked to him a few days before. I had outlets that i discovered only worked when the overhead lights were on. I discussed it with Ofer and he said they will take a look and see if it can be fixed. They listened to all my concerns and gave me fair estimates! I then gave them permission and they started on the work. While they were working, I was stuck around in case they had any issues or questions. They asked me for my preference for such things like where I would want to place switches or how far apart I would want the spacing of recessed lights. There was good communication and I felt confident in these guys! When the work was done, I was amazed with the quality of the job they did! The recessed lights lined up perfectly with existing recessed lights! They also were able to repair the outlets I had trouble with! At the end of the day, we went over the final cost of the job was lower than I estimated! I was very satisfied with the overrall experience with Ofer and I have recommended him to my friends and family. MOV did an excellent job on my house. I met Ofer at 9am (exactly when he said he would be there here) and we went over the project which was 10 recessed lights, dimmers and a few GFI outlets. I told him I had to go to work and gave a check for the job and he gave me an invoice and agreed to sign a contract I had prepared for him. At 1:48pm he called me to tell me the job was completed and he sent me pictures of the work and locked the door on his way out. I came to my house to see great work. He left us the drywall cut outs which makes it easy for me to put back in and patch the drywall. I am very happy with MOV's professionalism and quality of work. Had some recessed lights installed in my kitchen. I think it's a one man show, but the guy, Ofer, was fine. Got his info off of craigslist. His ad claims $45 a light, but he leaves off the part where he charges another $65 to install a switch...it's still cheap, just saying--factor that in because most other places quotes per light are higher (but include a switch). Told me he would be there b/n 9 & 10. Showed at 10:30 (and didn't call), but he did do the job just fine. I am happy with the lights, and his pricing was the best. All in all, A-OK, just like the 3 stars represents. read more

I am reposting my review because my previous one has disappeared. Ofer was a subcontractor to my general contractor for work in my condo in Santa Monica. He usually arrived late, gave me a big hassle about not having parking, and complained with me about the work that had to be done, even though he was informed in advance by my general contractor. I didn't give him 5 stars only because it took him over 2 weeks to replace one of the defeced light cans. While I do understand that he would had to drive at least 30 min. to come to my home for a service I didn't like a fact that I had to keep texting him for a schedule. But still he kept his word and finally able to send one of his guys for the after- service. Overall I was satisfied with his service. For those who lives in a condo and/or doesn't have a ceiling light at this time, be aware that cost to hire contractors for a drywall/patch and paint can be costly.
