This week we returned from out of state to find our fifteen+ year-old water heater leaking water. A late night phone to GL Plumbing, and THE NEXT morning at 9:00 they were here. He was incredibly thorough, going through multiple approaches to isolate the issue and leaving absolutely no doubt that there was no leak. He even told me straight up that a repipe wasn't necessary based on what he found. That kind of honesty, when he easily could have upsold me, says everything about his character. By the end, he was just as baffled as I was that SoCal Gas had flagged an issue. Rather than leaving me to figure it out on my own, he walked me through all of his troubleshooting step by step so I could relay it to the technician when getting retested. He followed up consistently throughout the whole ordeal and genuinely expressed concern that I was without gas. I passed the retest, and I truly believe his guidance played a big part in that. He's earned my trust and I'll absolutely be calling him again.

We took possession of a property with a tank that had an All State sticker…read more I called, left messages, and also sent emails to find out more about the tank. They never responded to any of the calls or online requests. I called our realtor and was told that the tank was owned by the previous property owners. So I called around and had another company fill the tank. 5 months later, I got a call (not sure how they found my phone number) from All State claiming the tank was rented, and I need to pay for another inspection fee, and I wasn't allowed to fill the tank. I refused to do anything until I saw some proof that the tank was not owned, and I argued that I should not have to pay for another inspection fee, especially since most companies don't charge an inspection fee, and the tank was inspected twice within the past few months. Within minutes of the phone call, they sent someone back out and shut off our gas when we weren't home!!!! I called - no answer. I called their emergency number... no answer (comical). They called me back, were super rude and demanded that I empty the tank right away, and they will have it removed the next day. Long story short, I had another provider switch out the tank to one of theirs the next day, and I want nothing to do with this company. I can't believe they left us without gas, hot water, or cook top for two days!! So unprofessional, so rude, and terrible at returning calls. The most interesting thing is that at no time did any of them try to de-escalate the situation or offer any solutions. Just hostile, rude, and unhelpful. So many better options out there.
