Abraham and David helped me move a very tall and heavy fridge from San Diego to Los Angeles yesterday. The owners wanted it gone fast and I was texting several moving places online but getting crazy high quotes with long lead times. Abraham and David were able to schedule me the next morning and had the best price. They ended up showing up before I did the next morning on time. They were super friendly with the owners and careful to pack up all the breakables like shelves and bins. Unfortunately, I am leaving 1 star which would zero if I could. I hired this company to do a move. I paid the requested $100 deposit. On the day of the move they were a no show. After over a week of calling I finally reached David who explained he had an unexpected situation and no ability to contact me. I can understand that but no phone call even days later to explain the situation. The biggest issue is I have not been refunded the money after texting multiple times with no response. He said he would send it, communicated a technical issue and has not responded since. The reviews from others are great and my friend had great things to say. Worst company in the history of movers! They don't even have a truck. They don't wrap your furniture, they are very careless, extremely slow and will damage your items. Hired MSM because the hourly rates were realistic for the job. BUT the 2 guys as nice as they are took an extra 3 hours while they talked about how to disassemble 2 beds. And the damage to the furniture was even worse! The third guy just sat around most of the day then when I complained about how long they were taking on a bedframe so he helped by just damaging the bed frame. He told me the bed frame was only supposed to be assembled once in it's lifetime and that he couldn't find the holes to reassemble so he had to put it back together by stripping out the holes in the frame. Now the bed is crooked. And the pictures here show how they load it up and scratch up fine furniture. Original quote was $275-375 but after this mess he straight up Charged me $700. What should have been a 3 hour move turned into the aftermath of a total hack job. read more
