We needed a move fast. Approved on Tuesday and needed to move by Saturday. Good Guys Moving provides absolutely top notch service. Omar and his team are very professional and hardworking. Both my old apartment and my new apartment were on the top floors of the buildings so it took a lot of extra time just to get my stuff through the elevator, but these guys were hustling nonstop the entire time. They were very careful with all my furniture and with fragile items like an 8ft tall mirror and my wife's vanity. They brought extra boxes and helped us pack up a lot of little things that I hadn't gotten to before they arrived. Truly a full service package. This company must have their own fake reviews!! This was an absolute nightmare experience from the begining and we are now taking them to small claims court and filing a complaint with the BBB. Not only did they miscalculate the truck size needed to move a 2 bedroom apt.(from exactly where they said they had just moved someone recently in Irvine), even when we pointed out that we didn't think the truck they brought would be large enough, walked them our home that was all packed up, it took 10 hours to load up a small 2 bed 2 bath apt that was already fully packed up. This was because their truck lift didn't work properly, was super slow and eventually broke completely when we finally reached the moving destination 1.5 hours away in Temecula! (Also, the truck they had was a rented Enterprise truck not even one with their logo on it.) That meant we were stuck and had to sleep on the floor of our empty new place, with nothing since the lift was broken and they now couldn't even unload our items! this after it took 14 hours all together that day it was 10:30 at night when we finally got there. [[HIGHLIGHT]]We kept asking them what the problem was, why was this taking so long, kept calling the manager/owner and they lied and said it was "because you have too much stuff".[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] Even though they had given us a visual quote and we had even expressed concern that the truck wouldn't fit our items. Sure enouh it didn't. They had the nerve to hold our items hostage unless we paid them $2,000 cash and then they had the audacitiy to try and get another $1,000 more for "overtime" when it was their equipment that completely failed and their miscalulations on truck size etc. We then later had to make, on our own, four trips ourselves to OC over the next week to get our remaining items. Take off work, and rent a Uhaul. [[HIGHLIGHT]]They would not take accountability, apologize, or try to make it right.[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] The next day around 10:30 am, they sent 2 different guys to unload who it said it was absurd what had happened and that the lift wasn't charged properly. This made the already stressful experience of moving a total nightmare. DO NOT EVER USE THESE PEOPLE! We have photos, time logs of everything and will provide these in court. read more

This review is long overdue, sorry guys! I moved from a studio to a one bedroom and although I don't have much furniture, they were kind enough to accommodate me and wrap my furniture nicely. I spoke mainly with Omar, and I asked him to be careful with the wood floors, I didn't see any scratches at all once he was done. I was struggling to put on the curtains since I only have a stepping stool and he helped me take down the rod and put them on. I appreciated that he went the extra mile to do that. Heartbreaking Incident - Missing Family Jewelry We hired Good Guys Movers to assist in moving items from my elderly parents' second floor to the garage. Alex sent Chris and Joe to help, and during the three-hour period, they were alone upstairs wrapping furniture. After they left, I was shocked to find that some of my belongings had been disturbed. Even more distressing, my David Yurman ring, various gold jewelry pieces, a gold nugget, and my perfume were missing. [[HIGHLIGHT]]I immediately reached out to Alex, who responded by saying, "You should never have left valuables unattended."[[ENDHIGHLIGHT]] These items were in the Master Closet - the guys never should have been in there. Chris and Joe claimed that "everything in the house was being given away." We've reported the theft to the local police. We even gave them a TV, some liquor and tipped them $100. Alex and Omar are very professional. I had hired a different company but they canceled on me last minute and these guys were able to give me a quote and hep me out all in the same day!! They really saved me. If I didn't move my stuff out of my apartment my landlord was going to charge me for a whole month. I can't tell you how appreciative I am of these guys. Not only were they really professional they were also kind and respectful! They even took extra precaution to keep my car safe and not let him out side.
