We asked for three movers for our house and we had a lot of weirdly shaped/heavy things: a home gym, a treadmill, and kids play structure, among the normal things - couch, beds, etc. They packed up everything with such care and worked so quickly. In the new house, they had to move these items to the most impossible spot and they didn't complain at all. They did what we asked and asked for clarification if needed. I was able to get a quote and set up my pick up date in just a few minutes. The day before my move, I received a text for a confirmation, for my time of 8 AM to 10 AM. About 7:20 AM I got a text from Borys, one of the movers that they would be there at 8 AM. They were there right on time, as I got a call at 7:52 AM that they were parked. I just had a one bedroom apartment but lots of boxes and antique wood furniture that they carefully wrapped and transported to the new house in just a few hours. This is the second time we have used Rock Movers in the last 10 months! They came yesterday promptly at 8 am and worked solidly throughout the day to locally move our furniture and boxes to our new home. Our move was complicated by multiple scheduling changes caused by other vendors. The Rock Movers was able to accommodate our scheduling changes and we were set for Saturday afternoon! Paul and Steven arrived well within the scheduled window, gave us a heads up that they were on the way and arrived ready to work. Keep in mind they had already completed one move earlier that day when they arrived at our home. For the next 5 hours they loaded, a 27 foot truck to the brim, wrapped our furniture as if they were museum pieces, drove to our new home and took great care in handling our items as they were unloaded. It was very easy to communicate with rock movers on Yelp. The customer services were very responsive and answered many questions I had before the move (via yelp messaging). I decided to go with 3 movers for my whole house movement. Their rate was the best after I shopped around, no hidden fee, only $50 deposit. Our movers Mauricio, Ben and Max arrived right on time (8am) on the moving day (more ready than us). They were very efficient in deciding what to wrap, what to move first etc. There were some difficult tasks for moving heavy furnitures upstairs on drop off location. My husband and I used PODS to move our belongings to Florida from San Diego and had the guys from The Rock Movers pack it. The Rock crew arrived on time (which was important because we only 4 hours to pack the POD) and loaded everything into our 16 foot POD. The guys who unloaded the POD were very impressed with the way the POD was loaded. Nothing fell out as things were moved and you could clearly see how much care was taken to situate our items. We still can't believe NOTHING (liquor/wine bottles, framed photos and art, dishes) was broken. The only thing we lost was a towel the bleach was wrapped in. We used Rock Movers 2 years ago and were very impressed with their work and again for this last move. They were awesome and you will not be disappointed. read more

I've tried a few different moving companies and the Rock Movers made our moving experience smooth for a 1 bedroom apartment home with one additional stop at another apartment. Estimate Inquiry- They were quick responding to our estimate inquiry and adjusting to our needs. I received a quote via Yelp and confirmation of our estimate via email. Communications- We received text and calls from the moving team when they were on the way & when they arrived at our destinations, which was helpful so we could plan around the arrival window. Overall Move- The entire move was from 8am-3pm with one stop, elevators and moving in/setting up furniture. Due to elevator time, we hired 3 movers and packing the truck which could have been done in about 4 hours, but waiting for elevators made additional time. They were quick getting items moved into the truck, kept in touch about what we wanted moved, and mindful of our carpeting by creating a plastic walkway to prevent damage. read more
