I was not taught more than 1st and 2nd position and dances were taught by a voice over recording a couple weeks before the recital. Not original dances or interesting choreography. It was not a fun experience...eventually there was another dance instructor that took over whatever classes I was in besides Miss Janice but by then I had lost interest due to the lack of attention given to me when I really wanted to be a dancer. When you're 8-10 years old taking more notes than in actual school, it did not make sense to me.

My partner and I had never danced together before, really, and my partner sort of always shied away from dancing in general. Anyhow we are having a small adventure reception but wanted a polished dance. I absolutely love dancing and it is just so fun. So we looked them up and did an initial drop in dance "class". It was absolutely great - they asked us a few questions, helped us pick out our song and showed us a few simple moves to get us started. That first hour blew by and blew our minds and what a great opportunity this would be. Initially my partner didn't want a whole choreographed show but after that first lesson and understanding Linda & Chester's style in choreography we decided to buy the choreography package! Although we haven't had our reception yet we are absolutely blown away by the lessons we have taken over the last couple of months with them. The ease and clarity of the choreography which is designed each step of the way to match our abilities and style is great! Plus they had no issues at all with us having our baby in tow - who's favorite time during our lessons was spinning around the room! We have one final lesson left before our big send off but we are over the moon about our experience with Linda and Chester and can't wait for their social dances to pick back up so we can attend! Additionally, we have even talked about just continuing to do some dance lessons every now and then as drop-ins even after our event to just keep it going! Couldn't recommend them enough!
