We arrived as soon as they opened and were some of the first there. The bar tender greeted us and we took our seats. He came over immediately and went through the entire menu with us. I ordered wine from their very large selection and my husband ordered a stout. They were out of his order so the bar tender brought over three similar options and explained them all. My husband picked one of the recommendations and it was a great beer. My wine was delicious. We ordered the Brie , burger, and my husband ordered their lomo. Everything was great truly. We just took our time and really enjoyed the space which was very cozy and relaxing. The best thing is going to a restaurant where wine and beer are their main focus and talking with staff that is enthusiastic about their products. Didn't take it personal just yet. What appeared to be the hostess came over a few minutes after we sat down and handed us menus that were very dirty. I looked at my husband and said I am ready to walk out of this place bc I am starving and it looks like they are too short staffed right now which is understandably out of a businesses control sometimes. But wait, instead of the waitress coming to our table to bring water or ask us if we would like a drink, she went to another table with a man and a child that she obviously knew well, and started eating their french fries and talking. That's when we decided to leave and spend our money elsewhere. So unprofessional. That couldn't wait? In addition, you have to pay for salad when you buy a meal. I don't think I've ever been in a good Italian restaurant where the salad didn't come with the meal. Again, I'm gonna say that the plates that my wife and I had the baked ziti the chicken Parm the manicotti in my opinion were excellent and this probably won't deter us from dining there, but thus far we have found a few good Italian restaurants, so we might pass this one up for a place that has better bread. We always try to support local and this review by no means is to put down this establishment, but to hopefully make them aware that good Italian bread matters at a good Italian restaurant.
