Dr Griffith is 2/2 for solving my neck pain immediately, when self-massage and massage therapy wasn't able to fix it.

I went to four different chiropractors before settling on Dr. Griffith for treatment of my sudden, acute, unprecedented, crazy-painful lower back issue. I had been rear-ended a couple months earlier, and had a (delayed) acute onset of pain. I was really frightened, and in a TON of pain. So many pain-induced f-bombs that my nine year old son was sobbing because he was so frightened for me. Sad times... :( I visited several other chiropractors before finding Taylor. When I finally visited Dr. Griffith, he was confidently pragmatic about my condition, and seemed calmly confident in my body's ability to heal, given the proper encouragement. In all honestly, I'll admit that's what I wanted to hear, since my ability to remain super-active and athletic is incredibly important to me. When I told him that the other chiropractors I had seen said I might have a herniated disc, etc., he seemed ever-so-slightly amused, and basically responded with (paraphrasing) "Well, maybe, but we'll see." My auto insurance was footing the bill, so I had the luxury of being able to see him until he decided I didn't need to anymore. Which didn't take that long, BTW...I was actually a little sad when he was like "Ok, so, you're good now, get outta here!" Haha. He didn't actually say that. I'm glad I trusted him with my super-ouchy, jacked-up lower back. I'm now now about four months out from my last treatment, and I'm better than ever. In a nutshell, he's really a gifted chiropractor. Dr. Griffith has been my go to chiropractor for years while I lived in the Bay Area. I had on-going neck and shoulder pain from daily computer use, and his adjustments always made them better. He is a great listener, and his adjustments are precise and effective. I am also super grateful for the shoulder and back exercises he taught me to do at home! I started my new year's resolution to work out more right on January 1st, at my hotel gym. Unfortunately I went up too fast when doing a kettle bell swing and injured my lower back. I carried the injury for a couple of weeks and even tried another chiropractor but it just wasn't going away. I finally went to see Dr. Griffith. He diagnosed the root cause of my injury to be weak hip flexors, which is a fairly common issue for those of us that spent our whole day sitting in front of the computer. Dr. Griffith practices ART (active release technique) and this did wonders for my injury. The pain was dramatically reduced after just the first visit and pretty much gone after the 3rd one. I've maintained my exercise / weight training routine so far (knock on wood), and I have continued to visit Dr. Griffith for preventive maintenance and periodic adjustments. If you're trying to get serious about weight training he also has a lot of good advice on effective stretches and strengthening exercises (the Sling Shot is my new best friend at the gym). Dr. Griffith is super friendly and he really makes sure he understands the patient and the issue before prescribing anything. The easiest way to get an appointment is to call; there is an online booking tool on their website but sometimes it may not be up-to-date with his schedule. Dr. Griffith has been my go to since I injured myself training for my first half marathon. My running injury had grown into an issue where I could barely walk without discomfort. Dr. Griffith worked with me to help me understand my injury, the cause of it, and using ART to address it. Because a chiropractor is out of pocket for me, he also shared with me several stretches and techniques I could do at home to speed up the recovery. I am so pleased with Dr. Griffith and his level of treatment. I had a car accident in the past which left me with tightness and restricted breathing on my left side. As a Pilates instructor, I am a highly active person and have been seeking relief to allow me to enjoy my life to the fullest. I'm familiar with anatomy and was happy to communicate the areas which I believed needed help but couldn't identify how to treat them. Stretching and self massage have been my go-to but haven't gotten the problem to resolve. I've seen many Chiropractors who have added some relief in the past, but I'm very impressed with how Dr. Griffith approached my issue. He did a Postural assessment with photos and to identify and illustrate the subtle shifts in my posture. He performed ART (Active Release Therapy) which immediately aided relief in my kinetic chain and opened up my ribs allowing me to breathe! I've had massages in the past which barely reached the level of release that ART did. He knew exactly how to manipulate with pressure and movement to open me up. Also, after so many years no other practitioner had performed ART let alone diagnosed my tightness in my mid back as scar tissue, which Dr. Griffith had. I work right in downtown so was looking for a good chiropractor that was convenient but also one that could fix my sprained ankle and aching back!! I play basketball 5-6 days a week and had recently sprained my ankle. I was so happy Dr. Griffith came to the rescue. I had always thought you should rest, ice and not move your ankle. He approached my injury completely different by mobilizing my ankle, using this tape (I think it's called rock tape), and adjusting my low back/ankle. I have never recovered from an ankle sprain so fast!! I also left with some awesome exercises that improved my hip strength (which I was told helps my knees for Bball!) My ankle has never felt better and I am now able to shoot like Steph curry (ok not that good) but am now able to play without pain and a lot more confidence that my ankle and knees will hold up! The office is not that easy to find, its behind shalala restaurant. I got great directions from Dr Griffith on the phone so it didnt take much time finding it. He is very knowledgeable and spends enough time with me for my first visit. My other chiropractic appointments usually takes longer waiting time than treatment time (that's why I stopped going) I had lots of questions and I feel bad for asking so much, but he has a lot of patience and he answers all my questions. My obsess with smart phones/computer/ipad causes me neck soreness and tingling on my fingers. I've been dropping my phone on the floor a lot too. I sprained my ankle on a ski trip, and was very luck to find Dr. Griffith who happened to be down the street from my work. He is very attentive and does a great job in fixing up my ankle. In addition, he was able to restore motion for my arm that was injured many years ago. Using different methods, he was able to loosen up knots and tension in my neck and shoulders, get my spine to align, and adjust my hip so my back doesn't hurt as much. Dr. Griffith is simply amazing. During my 8th month of pregnancy I started experiencing horrible, debilitating low back pain. I went from walking several miles per day to barely being able to hobble around at work. I was skeptical that a chiropractor (or anyone!) could help me due to the severity of the pain, but as I was desperate, I gave Dr. Griffith a try. After the first visit, I felt mild improvement. After the second, I was able to walk short distances with minimal pain. And after the third visit, I was basically pain free and was able to resume walking up to three miles per day up until the day I delivered our daughter! Doctor Taylor Griffith is one of the most genuine, professional, and helpful chiropractors if ever had work on my body. I found his initial examination to be very thorough. He took the time to examine a recent MRI of my lower back, and consulted with me personally about his findings. He also took the time to talk through all of my previous sports related injuries, where I felt he offered an empathic ear. He then took time to examine my posture, spinal alignment and walking gait, before performing other tests to assess my spinal range of motion. Throughout the exam he continued to communicate with me how and why he had me performing each task. He also took photos of me to provide me with additional data on my posture. His spinal adjustment both reduced my pain in my hips and lower back. He also provided me with several exercises to do daily to help alleviate my symptoms. Dr. Griffith is amazing! I highly recommend him. I was unable to run after hurting myself on a long run followed by several days of powder skiing. My M.D. sister-in-law recommended finding a practitioner skilled in active release therapy (ART). I chose Dr. Griffith based on his excellent online reviews. About a year ago, I injured my lower back in a four-wheeler accident and had tightness from the bottom of my spine all the way to my neck. I did a little research as to how I should approach the problem and a few Google searches led me to Dr. Griffith's office. After my first visit, I learned much more about my postural problems by examining my old x-rays and photos that Dr. Griffith had taken of my posture. I then proceeded to get adjusted and felt immediate relief in my lower back. I returned bi-weekly for the next several months to get minor adjustments and today, I've found incredible relief in my life. I only wish I had found Dr. Griffith sooner! I had lower front rib pain for almost a year with an x-ray, MRI and orthopedic pain specialist not able to diagnose or treat my issues. Dr. Griffith assessed the area, decided on the use of A.R.T. (Active Release Therapy) and within two treatments my pain and tightness was 80% better. After four treatments the pain was gone. I've now seen him 5 times with great results and have been able to keep working out during the entire process. Dr. Griffith has more techniques/approaches available to him than I've ever before seen in a chiropractor... he frequently uses A.R.T. (Active Release Technique, I think) on my shoulder. I met with Dr. Griffith after experiencing an injury during Crossfit (surprise, surprise.) I would get really bad headaches during work outs that involved overhead movements. After two sessions, Dr. Griffith had fixed the issue that had stemmed from tight shoulders/neck using ART and given me extra mobility homework to prevent the issues from happening again in the future.
