We drive past Accent on our way home as we live just a few blocks away and were always curious about what the studio looked like. Natalia, our dance instructor/choreographer was fantastic!! We picked a song and she worked her magic in coming up with some great steps, we as non trained dancers, could learn. She was very encouraging and our dance ended up being much more complex than what we had in mind! 3 lifts and almost 3 full minutes of dancing! Our wedding day was perfect and we'll keep Accent in mind if we ever want to take their group salsa classes.

They even send birthday cards for the kids, which is a sweet touch. They're also flexible with make-up classes, making it easier for busy parents like me to manage everything. I also appreciate that they keep a stash of used ballet and jazz shoes to lend out if the kids/parents forget theirs. it's such a relief knowing they've got our back, especially as a busy working parent juggling a lot. She was able to magically sweep my 5-year-old daughter away into a fairytale land where she imagined all of her favorite things and learned proper ballet techniques, strengthened and stretched her body, and had fun dancing with her friends. She loved it so much, we wished it was more than once a week and didn't stop for summer break. Something I would like to see more of is the teaching of short dance routines after all of the typical exercises they do. One thing that many of the parents were dissatisfied with was how often there was a substitute teacher, and the general lack of communication there was regarding class schedules and offerings from the office. I hope this review will help you in deciding which program to put your child in, and will provide the school some insite into our experience. Trippy's energy radiates through a screen and I was immediately interested in being coached by him. I had my first lesson last night and WOW!!!!! I left the studio so giddy and excited. I am TERRIBLE at pole but it has become so addicting for me and trippy made me feel so comfortable about my skill level and allowed me to feel safe in my space. Since I've done all the research for this, -no, you will not find a better coach for a better price anywhere near here. Trust me. To be fair, I go to the other studio because it's quite literally .5 minutes walking distance from my house and they offer open pole (so does this place) so it allows me to practice what I've learned with trippy on a regular basis. Otherwise, Opolence is my go to for good now!
