Upon the recommendation of a NAPA employee, I made an appointment here to have it looked at. They were able to get me in relatively quick and assess the damage. They identified it was a bent wheel and were able to order a used one. This saved me a few hundred dollars over a new one at the dealer. The whole thing took 2 days which I felt was a quick turnaround. Overall good experience here with the service and repair. Car is driving just like new. Lucky it wasn't much worse. The first time, I had a coolant leak and the mechanic actually SHOWED me where it was leaking. Actually seeing the problem with my own eyes when the car was on the lift immediately made me feel that they can be trusted. They fixed that problem, did some other overdue maintenance work, and the car's been running much better now, zero problems. The only minor problem I had was that I asked for the parts to be returned to me, and they weren't. That really wasn't a big deal since my driveway isn't full of coolant spots any more. I thought the price for this repair was entirely fair. The second time was a problem that couldn't be duplicated when I was driving it while the tech was in the car with me. Ah well... They didn't charge me for that visit. The most recent visit was exceptional. I managed to get the end of a gas funnel stuck in the neck of my gas tank. This caused all kinds of problems when I'd fill up with gas at Kwik Trip. I tried to fish it out myself, but couldn't. I brought it to the dealership, and they told me they couldn't see it or get it out after allegedly scoping it out. The dealership charged me for that visit. I know they have bills to pay, so I was OK with that. On a whim, I brought it to the new Meineke (formerly Pope Autoworx). I told them what happened and that I wanted them to try to get it out, but I'd pay for an hour of time, no matter what. I told them that I wanted to save the part so I could see it. Well... THEY GOT IT OUT!!!!! The dedication, time and effort that they showed me in actually FIXING this problem impressed the hell out of me. I do my own oil changes and brake jobs, but for nearly everything else, this Meineke garage will be my first call.

Wednesday I went there to tell them about a suspected brake issue; Lance, the owner, remembered me and we made an appointment for yesterday to have him look at the brakes. Yes, brakes and rotors needed immediate replacement and he and his staff did it right away. Wow. I was absolutely blown away by their quick, professional action, and the price was on target; but to me, knowing from many past experiences with Lance that I could trust him was even more important. I dropped it off on a Sunday night and put my keys in a note in the slot and got a text within 15 minutes of the store opening Monday that they managed to fix my problem. That sort of emergency customer service when I only had a couple hours in town was absolutely priceless. I love this place. You get a lot of bang for your buck.

I had some repairs done to my car the the day of getting the dreaded letter for renewal and not knowing that the computer has to drive for a while for systems to pass tests I was failed the next day and they were very nice to me with a failed test report with some educational materials for a return visit. A week later they were still very nice to me after wasting their time even though I didn't have my repairs done with them, weird coincidence and worlds colliding. I know these emissions pay very little but they were still very helpful to me with friendly service.
