Multiple customers to the gas station came in to get food/drinks and I had to awkwardly get out of their way while I waited. They were also running behind so they couldn't get to my car for at least 30 minutes after my scheduled appointment time. They did a good job on the car and had a detailed report plus the oil change for a very fair price but honestly I'll probably go somewhere else next time cause its just less convenient when they don't have an adequate waiting room for people getting something quick done.

I had some repairs done to my car the the day of getting the dreaded letter for renewal and not knowing that the computer has to drive for a while for systems to pass tests I was failed the next day and they were very nice to me with a failed test report with some educational materials for a return visit. A week later they were still very nice to me after wasting their time even though I didn't have my repairs done with them, weird coincidence and worlds colliding. I know these emissions pay very little but they were still very helpful to me with friendly service.

The first time, I had a coolant leak and the mechanic actually SHOWED me where it was leaking. Actually seeing the problem with my own eyes when the car was on the lift immediately made me feel that they can be trusted. They fixed that problem, did some other overdue maintenance work, and the car's been running much better now, zero problems. The only minor problem I had was that I asked for the parts to be returned to me, and they weren't. That really wasn't a big deal since my driveway isn't full of coolant spots any more. I thought the price for this repair was entirely fair. The second time was a problem that couldn't be duplicated when I was driving it while the tech was in the car with me. Ah well... They didn't charge me for that visit. The most recent visit was exceptional. I managed to get the end of a gas funnel stuck in the neck of my gas tank. This caused all kinds of problems when I'd fill up with gas at Kwik Trip. I tried to fish it out myself, but couldn't. I brought it to the dealership, and they told me they couldn't see it or get it out after allegedly scoping it out. The dealership charged me for that visit. I know they have bills to pay, so I was OK with that. On a whim, I brought it to the new Meineke (formerly Pope Autoworx). I told them what happened and that I wanted them to try to get it out, but I'd pay for an hour of time, no matter what. I told them that I wanted to save the part so I could see it. Well... THEY GOT IT OUT!!!!! The dedication, time and effort that they showed me in actually FIXING this problem impressed the hell out of me. I do my own oil changes and brake jobs, but for nearly everything else, this Meineke garage will be my first call.

Kevin, has absolutely no people skills, and when I was told it would take an hour and a half to two hours to rotate my tires after I made an appointment; is kind of unacceptable. When I stated in a very calm voice you didn't have to throw your keys at me he ignoring me and stormed off into the service bays. I live in Grafton, about 40 miles away from his shop, and gladly trailer my cars 45 minutes each way for the quality service he provides. I wish I'd found him earlier. His guys always get the job done, they know exactly what to do and they make sure it's done right. On multiple occasions they've gone the extra mile for a repair. For example, I went to pick up my 1985 Corvette once and one of the techs was just finishing up hosing out the radiator ducting of leaves that had accumulated--and the repair wasn't even related to that. Bill knows Corvettes inside and out and, despite always being busy, is willing to take the time to talk about an issue and convey what he knows and recommends. I live in fear that he'll retire one day soon--I'm not sure who I'll trust my Vettes with in the future were that to happen. Yelp! I'm begging you not to sideline this review as "not recommended." This is a legitimate review based on years of experience and numerous transactions with the reviewed company.
