I personally spoke with Charlie and told him our situation and he made it a priority to help us however he could and to get us a moving crew that day. He called hourly with updates and ETA's and it made our day less stressful. We had a 3 man crew show up (Bernie, Rick and Chris) and they were wonderful. They packed up our apartment, made the hour drive and unloaded everything in our house in a little over 3 hours- we were extremely impressed. This is my second time using moving at ease, found them the first time on yelp. My second time I am moving in my own uhaul but had them pack it up. I would assume that Danny and Brent were expert Tetris players because the fit everything in the smaller sized truck I had. King size bed, 8 foot couch, dresser, a few tables, like 15 boxes, my 65" tv, and a bunch of other oddly shaped items. There is even space for more items that I was going to put in my car. They arrived in the time window that they said they would come in. It took a little longer than I thought but I kept in mind that I was on the second floor, 107 degrees, in an apartment complex and they had to make everything fit in the truck that took time. Good rate so it was not a heavy hit to my pocket. They were careful with my things and didn't let me lift a finger. I will no longer be in phx but would recommend them for others, looks like they are keeping up with their demand and not breaking tradition of their core values as a company. read more

For the most part I am very satisfied. There were three glitches however. First the day of the move in there was a possible delay of a full day due to illness. It got resolved after I pointed out that my antiques and oil paintings would need to be in an air cooled space. The truck arrived about seven hours after the projected ETA. The movers were very courteous and helpful. One fragile Mexican pottery antique candlelabra arrived broken and antique armoire somehow was locked after many years and two previous moves not being locked and no key to open it. I'll need to get a locksmith. Hopefully I'll be reimbursed for these two mishaps. Even so, I definitely would recommend this service! read more

I have used these guys twice now. Charlie's the owner (I believe) and he's great. Flynn is another "main guy" and he's also good to work with. My teeny complaint, and it's not even worth changing my rating, is that they prefer phone calls as their means of communicating as opposed to email or text, which sometimes don't get responded too as fast. But! They make up die that small inconvenience by delivering reliable teams of movers who are responsible, timely, friendly, understanding and fast. They also offer a generous cash discount which I appreciate. I had to move my elderly father from one assisted living apartment to another and I wasn't sure WHAT we were all going to find when we walked in to my dad's current apartment. I had a feeling it would be a mess and it was. The two men from MOVING AT EASE were completely understanding and just got right to work. They didn't miss a beat and they ignored the mess and had kind words to say about my dad's situation and never made me feel embarrassed or more sad than I already was about having to move him. It was a very hard day for both my dad and me, but Jonathan and (oh shoot I forget the other guys name but it also began with J. Maybe Joseph??)... both guys were smiley and encouraging and helpful and patient. I cannot say enough about this company and would recommend them again 100 times over. I am so impressed by Moving At Ease! They were on-time, extremely efficient, polite, wrapped all my valuables so they wouldn't get damaged and the price was so reasonable! We interviewed 5 different moving companies and we are so happy that we chose Moving at Ease. We needed a lot of help packing and this crew was fabulous! They packed everything from towels to My Grandmothers China and it was all done beautifully! My husband and I agreed that we had never met such hard working men (and women who did the packing). These guys were loading and unloading trucks in 107 degree heat and I never heard one complaint. They were all fun, respectful and willing to rearrange furniture multiple times without the slightest bit of hesitation. This sounds crazy, but I almost hated to see them go after move in day ~ after all how many movers would go the extra mile to capture a family of bats (living behind a piece of artwork on front porch), and install a new plug on my dryer? I had hired Moving At Ease based on a friend's recommendation and boy, she was right, these guys are amazing! Two movers, Brandon and John, showed up on time with all their equipment and started moving us out of a 1 bedroom. They were very personable, professional and took extreme care of our goods, almost as if they were their own. We moved into a high-rise and had to deal with elevator congestion, but even with that, Brandon and John managed to get all of our things into the new place, without damage and within an hour of arrival; despite it being 106º. I am supremely pleased with the expertise, professionalism, speed and efficiency. We were required to use Moving At Ease due to the pandemic when my mom was moved home after an extended stay in a nursing home. While the move-in was uneventful, they managed to lose one of only 6 pieces of furniture she had with her when they moved her back home. I understand things get lost, but their response has been "oh well, stuff happens" even after I told them the piece had been in the family for 4 generations. I used Moving at Ease for an out-of-state move. And realized that it best to have your own moving insurance, because moving companies like this one does not support you through any damages. I found the customer service to be poor after my move. They stood by the excuse that I signed off on the moving invoice with final payment and therefore they were not responsible. Then they quoted their insurance policy to have an eight-day grace period, which they failed to produce a copy of the insurance policies guideline. They basically dropped the ball. Before they do a long distance move, they store the furniture in a warehouse, which could be harmful for wooden furniture especially during the Summer. Good Luck! read more

I have used them twice. Once to move Mom to assisted living and the 2nd time to move just one couch for my Mom. They specialize in small moves, especially for the elderly. Even though the move is small, they are happy to do it and very fairly priced. They really take care to protect the furniture. Some of my Mom's stuff was in really bad shape but they still treated like it was worth a fortune. They answer the phone, are very responsive and kept me informed on timing and arrival.
