I sent in a request for bids through Angie and the were the first to respond. Their response was not only very quick but, they had the best rates. They were available when I wanted them and reserving a spot was easy. I received a contract through email and my time was scheduled. I received a call the day before to confirm our appointment. The team arrived on time and actually seemed to enjoy what they were doing! They communicated very well with each other, took extra steps to protect my items and took precautions with pads and floor runners to also protect the houses. They had the job done so quickly, I was amazed!! Everything was in its proper place when they left. I have never had a better moving experience!! I feel so lucky to have connected with this friendly, efficient, professional company. I hope never to move again but, if I do, I wouldn't contact anyone else. Nice, nice job!! Thank you!!

About 4 hours into the re-delivery of our belongings by their crew, we discovered that much of our furniture and personal property which had already brought into our new home appeared to be covered in mold. The contamination affected our brand-new home and required professional remediation. As a result, we were displaced and forced to live in a hotel for 50 nights while the issue was addressed. The owner, John Craft, acknowledged to us that our belongings had gotten wet and remained on their moving trucks for a period of time during the hot and humid month of June. Despite assurances from the company's insurance carrier, we have received very little communication or resolution. More than seven months later, we still do not have our belongings and have had to retain legal counsel to pursue claims against both Soft Touch Moving and the insurance company. This experience has been incredibly disruptive to our lives. Based on our experience, we would strongly caution others before trusting this company with their belongings.

The total cost came out to the low end of my estimate which was great. All 3 movers were courteous and let me know of 1 minor nick they had caused. The movers were genuinely grateful for their tips and kept their truck relatively neat. I called a couple times before the move to ask questions, and the staff was willing to talk through logistics any time.

Moving day arrived and it was past the time the movers were expected to arrive and I never received a call. The office calls me, stating the drivers have been trying to get ahold of me for 15 minutes. I never received a call from the driver. I went looking for the movers and found them myself. They worked quickly, and got everything moved before the original estimate. You are charged by the time used in 15 minute increments. The movers wrapped my furniture, but did not wrap door frames, and punctured a hole in my ceiling on my new house by ramming a bed frame into the ceiling, no apologies offered. At the end, the movers had to call their manager to determine how many hours to charge me as they waited 15 minutes without working because they couldn't get a hold of me by phone. Remember, I never received a call and told the office that when they called to ask if I still needed their services. Their manager decided that I needed to pay for those 15 minutes, resulting in me overpaying for not being contacted by Two Men and A Truck which was very frustrating and unfair.

After everything we've been through with Two Men and a Truck, I feel obligated to warn others…read more Before our move, we gathered multiple quotes from moving companies. Two Men and a Truck was over $2,000 more expensive than two other movers we considered, but we chose them because we believed we were paying for professionalism, experience, and peace of mind. We trusted their reputation. That turned out to be a costly mistake. The damage was unbelievable. Every single piece of our Polywood outdoor furniture, which we purchased at the end of last year for several thousand dollars, was scratched. These weren't minor scuffs; it looks like the furniture was dragged across the ground while lying flat. Our couch, both loveseats, and chair were all damaged. Furniture that was practically brand new now looks years old. On top of that, one of the stairs in our brand-new home was chipped, and a valuable mid-century furniture piece was significantly damaged, despite being assured their movers had experience handling furniture from that era. The claims process was even more frustrating than the move itself. We spent over a month submitting photos, receipts, and every document they requested. Then we were told they don't consider what an item originally cost or how recently it was purchased when determining reimbursement, which makes you wonder why they asked for receipts in the first place. Communication was terrible. Weeks passed without updates, forcing us to constantly follow up. We eventually escalated the issue to corporate, only to be told to keep waiting for the local franchise. Then, without a phone call, email, or any discussion, a check arrived in the mail for an insultingly small fraction of our damages, along with a letter stating the claim was "resolved." We were never allowed to discuss or dispute the amount; they simply decided the matter was closed. Accidents happen during a move. What matters is how a company responds. We intentionally paid over $2,000 MORE expecting better care and better service. Instead, we were left with damaged belongings, damage to our new home, poor communication, and a claims process that felt designed to wear us down. I would never recommend Two Men and a Truck. Paying a premium did not result in premium service; it only made an already terrible experience more expensive.
