I hired these guys to move my mom from one apartment to another over 4th of July weekend. The quote they gave me ended up being exactly as promised. No surprises. She is in her 70's and was really nervous to have to be dealing with all of this. They called to let her know they were on their way and again at the time they promised. According to her they did an excellent job and worked quickly, were friendly etc. They made things so much easier on her. My only suggestion to them would be on answering their phones. My mother tried to call several times and did not get a response. I was actually able to correspond with them easier (from California) through the yelp site. These guys were FANTASTIC! I was a little nervous going into it as the owner said they could only communicate via email and one of the guys was late because he went to the wrong address. However, once he got there they immediately got to work. They were extremely careful my furniture as well as with walls and floors in the new and old house. I used Moving Brothers last week moving from Downtown to Littleton. The service was great from start to finish. From the start, they quoted us the cheapest pricing even though we called on a very short notice. They didn't charge us anything extra for the distance they had to drive to get to our apartment from their location. Many other moving companies had random fees that simply got confusing. I used Moving Brothers back in April 2013 so it was a no brainer to hire them again for my November 2014 move. They are right on time, friendly, funny and fast. These guys don't waste any time. This time around they moved me in 1.5 hours and with a 2 hour minimum charge I was happy for them to keep the difference. They even remembered me from the last time they moved me so it's nice to have that personal touch. Definitely recommend them to friends and family. Weekend price was $75 an hour for the 2 guys plus the $59 fuel charge. Very reasonable rates. When they saw I still had some leftover full boxes to move later, they offered to move them with all my stuff, and still managed to come under 2 hours. Very quick and efficient, plus very friendly. I had a TERRIBLE experience with this company. I hired 2 movers for 2 and a half hours with the understanding that with driving it may take a maximum of 3 hours given traffic. I only moved a 1 bedroom apartment with minimal large furniture and 90% of items were in boxes, so very few small items (most of which I moved myself in my car). They were so slow it seemed as though they were intentionally taking their time to rack up the price, carrying 1 small box at a time, when I can carry 2 or 3 myself. I ended up helping for the last hour, because I could move faster. It took them 4 hours to move a 1 bedroom apartment!!! I moved myself into that apartment with a few friends and it took us 30 minutes to unload the truck to give you some more perspective and we are not "professionals". I attempted to call the office multiple times and they never answered. Do NOT use this company they are a total rip off. read more

I rarely give 5 stars. To get 5 stars you have to go above and beyond and really knock my socks off. Well Moving Brothers sure did! The team of 3 movers came in and just got it done. They worked non stop on a split level home with tons of stuff (took multiple truck loads) and the only break they took was during the drive between locations. Over the Top! mark and Don were amazing. We had a crazy move but they were efficient, prompt and willing to go above and beyond when it started to rain. Mark was very communicative, and kept me apprised of all potential issues (traffic, etc) and that was key on a stressful move day. They protected all my furniture, even my 1920 antique sideboard that is a family heirloom. They were professional prompt and most of all had a great spirit. I used these guys because of the reviews I read on YELP. it was everything people have said before. Communication between Linus and myself was clear, concise, there were NO surprises. Mark and Paul showed up right on time. They were ready to work. My moving needs were a bit unusual than standard. It was more of a packing assignment. I had a storage unit of my son's that needed to be prepared for commercial movers to take to CA. I had them open boxes and rewrap and consolidate items. I asked them to retape everything as masking type had been used for most of the boxes. They worked very efficiently. They reorganized the whole storage unit so now things are reachable. They were conscientious about what needed to be secure and well packed for a cross country move. The only disappointing aspect of this experience is that MOVING BROTHERS cannot make the move to CA for me. read more

Absolutely the BEST! Don't waste your time with others, if you can schedule with these guys! Mark and Linus came at 8:30 AM, and my 3 bdrms worth of furniture and boxes was loaded, driven over 1 hour to my new house, and unloaded by 3 PM, and Linus had to leave early! This has got to be some kind of record!! I did spend some money getting pre move help with packing my boxes, and I did take multiple trips with my loaded SUV to my new house. All boxes were marked with their room destination as well, so I was pretty organized. I also purged a bit as there are items for Salvation Army to Pick up still here at my old house. Moving Bros completely filled their 24 ft truck and actually I do have a couple more trips to make as there were a couple items that wouldn't fit in the truck, but they only left a few light items for me. They completely blew away the moving company I used last time who took 9.5 hours, then busted things, lost parts, and finally wouldn't leave until I paid them $500. more than their original quote! Moving Bros were fast, fair, and actually didn't even stop to eat lunch because the one guy was in a hurry! And they were very careful going through the doorways. Don't think they scratched any walls either. I admittedly got a really great deal here. There is a reason for the many positive reviews! Thank you guys! Having not used movers before, I was unsure as to what to expect. I made a conscious effort to make it as easy as possible, both for myself, and these guys by having everything packed and ready to go. After reviewing various moving companies, I decided on this one based on the reviews as well as the pricing quoted. I was pleased with several things related to this company. For starters, their rates doesn't start until they arrive at your house and ends when they deliver all the items to your new place. Additionally, if the move goes over the 2.5 hour minimum, they charge in 15 minute increments as opposed to the entire hour, which tends to save quite a bit. The service fee isn't ideal, but given the two points mentioned above, understandable. Mark and his partner were true pros. Courteous and very prompt, they showed up at exactly the time they said they would. To prepare, I moved the little things myself and had them take care of the larger items. They wrapped the couch and bedroom furniture and still had me out of my old 1 bedroom place in less than an hour and a half. The move in to the new place was a bit longer as we couldn't reserve the elevator but they dealt with it as best as possible. Taking care with the furniture, they arranged everything as I asked. Couldn't be happier with the experience and the service these guys provided. Would absolutely use again and recommend to friends. Agree with other reviews about the cash only policy but do prefer that as opposed to using a credit card and being charged additional fees so it's not that bad. Again, kudos guys! read more

We had a fantastic experience while working with Moving Brothers on our latest move. The movers were on time, professional, personable, and worked diligently to get the job done within the time frame quoted. We ran into a small snag with the apartment complex and the moving team was unable to use the building's freight elevator/dock (even though it had been properly reserved). Yet our two movers worked around it the best they could and even took it upon themselves to work with the other movers onsite to share the freight elevator when needed. Because of this snag, we did go over our estimated time and price, but that was in no way the fault of the moving company. They worked hard to try and minimize the impact of this issue and did a great job. I would certainly use them again for another local move, if needed. read more
