These guys were amazing and I chose them specifically because I read they carefully handle moving your furniture. We had some terrible movers in our previous move as they showed up 5 hours past the promised time. They also ruined some of our furniture as they kept jamming it through the apartment elevators and doors. So, remember Saturday when it was below zero? That was when Moving Brothers were supposed to come out and they did! Despite being cold, they showed up and helped us in the most time of need. We only had big furniture for them to move and they moved it extremely carefully. The 2.5 hours minimum was also almost up and we asked them to move a few things for us in 15 mins and they did it with no questions asked. We used Moving Brothers to move our office to a temporary location while we had several months of construction to do. They were very fast in responding to my request for a bid, they offered a fair price and their guys were very careful with the furniture and the artwork, which we have a lot of. They worked fast, but they were quiet and careful and were able to do the entire process in less than a full day, just as they thought they could. A really solid experience which isn't common with movers (in my experience). We will be hiring them again for the move back. read more

I had three large pods delivered from CA to a house I purchased in Aurora. The movers in CA stacked the pods pretty tightly. The Moving Brothers asked lots of insightful questions and then diligently worked to move the items. I figured it would take all day, but these guys worked four hours and got every last item out of the pods. The house has four levels, but the stairs were no match for the movers. Plus, I have some very heavy tools, like a table saw, band saw, and jointer. The movers handled these items with care and placed them exactly where I wanted them (third garage bay). At the end, the lead movers asked if any items needed to be reshuffled, and there were some that we wanted moved a second time. They were a great value so I generously tipped! read more

I hired a fair share of movers across two decades of shuffling from apartment to apartment, and nobody did it better than the Moving Brothers crew who hauled my occasionally ill-packed belongings to my new, permanent home on 9/19/24 (the date will become important shortly). How good was the crew? 1. Some of my furniture had small chunks that were hanging on by a thread after years of careless handling by other moving companies. After this move, every last chunk is still attached - miraculously so in some cases - thanks to the Moving Brothers crew who treated all of my possessions with the same care they would treat their own. 2. When the crew arrived at my storage unit (the third-and-final pickup stop of the morning) the lot was closed due to a paving project that was scheduled for 9/5 and 9/15, two dates that I avoided when I scheduled my move. Public Storage never announced the date change. From the moment I crossed the office's threshold on 9/19/24, a beautiful Thursday morning, the owner was openly hostile toward me. Apparently, I had some nerve walking into a business that was OPEN during repaving. I convinced owner to allow the huge moving truck onto the property, but when it came time to leave, she wouldn't let the huge moving truck through the gates. She insisted the crew drive their huge moving truck over a curb; over a steep, uneven embankment with a sharp peak in the middle; then over another curb onto a busy, six-lane road. The crew held firm, arguing that if the owner let them ON to the lot, she had to let them OFF the lot, stating that they would call the cops if the owner continued to block them. Despite the owner's toothless threats of a lawsuit (and saying she was on the phone with their lawyer that very minute) the crew's persuasiveness got them through the gates and on to the final stop. 3. Upon arriving at my townhome, I opened the garage and was met with a foreboding smell. The crew pointed out that it smelled like propane, a theory with which I concurred; however, the odor didn't pervade into the small basement that opened into the garage, and wasn't present at all on the other two levels of the home. They wound up moving my stuff from the street - NOT through the easily accessible garage - across a small greenbelt, and in through my front door. I called Xcel's gas emergency hotline, and a technician showed up about 10 minutes after the moving crew left. Turns out their hunch was correct: the gas main under the driveway between the garages sprung a leak that morning and nobody had called it in yet. Xcel ultimately sprayed a bunch of lines in the street, drilled test holes, dug a massive hole in the street with a backhoe, fixed the gas leak, and patched the hole by 9:00pm. tl;dr - If you're looking for the best movers in town, call Moving Brothers. They're amazing, they'll treat all of your belongings like delicate treasures, they can crush threats of frivolous lawsuits, and maybe even save your entire neighborhood. Five stars! read more

No boxes. Surprised when the guys showed up and had no boxes. Never heard of a moving company that has NO boxes. Couldn't move today. Screwed up my Xcel and Comcast transfers, which were to happen on moving day - TODAY. Try changing transfer orders at Xcel and Comcast. Good luck. Stuck trying to find another mover over Easter weekend. Sucks. I had told Mark that I ran out of banana boxes to pack and still had to pack half of my kitchen. But it seems they don't even have boxes if you want them. The 2 guys were nice, they said they would move most of my stuff ... but what about the rest ? I expected to be in my new place tonight. Instead I'm stuck at my old place with almost everything packed. Stripped bed, etc. Have to dig around and find the stuff I need every day, now. We just moved yesterday from a 3rd floor apartment with no elevator to a ranch house 40 minutes away. Christian and his brother showed up at the exact time they promised, they got to work immediately and I was so impressed with how carefully they handled my personal items. I felt bad as they had to move some pretty heavy items from my apt all the way down the 3 floors to their truck. They never complained! And they never stopped having polite and positive attitudes! A few of my furniture items needed to be disassembled but my husband had already packed away the tools these two came prepared and they had their own tools that they were able to use. When we finally have the truck loaded and reached my new home after a 40 minute drive, they brought everything in and offered to take each item to the room that it would be unpacked in. My sister and coworker were over as they were also helping with the move and they were so impressed that they asked for their information so that they could use them if they ever moved in the future. ##Update## You were referring to the two cat boxes in the hallway that we were cleaning and the places they were because we were cleaning. At no point was the feces on the floor other then in the cat box, which happens to be on the floor. Non of my furniture was soiled except the cat tree, where the cats eat. I wanted this thrown in the trash anyways. The floors where fine, no cat pee or poop on them. There was a stain in the hallway from moving. A soda got knocked over and never cleaned up. So that's my bad on my part but we are fricken moving and I was going to clean the apartment when everything got moved out. After I said please move the cat tree to the trash for me the driver left to talk on the phone. After that they quit on a $215 an hour job which I was going to tip each mover $100 a piece. Instead I am stuck here 2 more days, trying to find someone to move me because quite honestly, it was Easter and they didn't want to go above and beyond. Or every move every time as there slogan says. Don't bother with these people find someone else. They are to highly priced anyway. Every move, every time. This is there slogan. I made it no secret that I lived on the third floor and was disabled. They came here to move me. Walked up the stairs, looked around. Went down stairs. Made me walk down 3 flights of stairs to move my car to make it more convenient. It's hell for me to walk up and down stairs, hince why I am moving because I am disabled. Then they tell me they were not going to move me because the truck was clean. This is absolutely the worst experience I have ever had. My lawyer is going to absolutely sink his teeth in this one. Pros: easy to book, quick communication; very minimal damage to the walls of the home I moved out of and none to the home we moved into. Nothing was lost or broken but a couple of pieces had scrapes. The crew followed instructions for where to place things in the new home. The lead of the crew was excellent. Cons: estimate is likely very inaccurate because they use college kids as the movers who can be incredibly inefficient at moving. We had one guy show up late from lunch and that person hung out in his car at times so we didn't always have the full 4-person crew that we paid for. The move took about 4 hours longer than expected. Since you can't control the motivation or energy level of the crew who shows up then you'll want to estimate 3x the amount you're quoted for your move. read more

We used moving brothers this month for our small move across town in the Denver metro area. Since the initial quoting and booking process, Mark was polite, clear on what to expect, and highly communicative with us on our appointment. Even when I had a change of plans to drop my dog off somewhere morning of the move, there was no issue at all! Also when the movers ran into a problem the day before we transport, he let me know right away that they were going to change timeframe to 1 hour later of the start of the move which actually worked out better! We unfortunately had a lot of stuff to move out which was frustrating but our two guys that came were friendly, fast, efficient and most important careful with our fragile items like our 60" flat screen which was so very much appreciated. With all said and done these guys loaded up our 2BR apartment drove to our new place which was a single family home and unloaded everything in just over 3 hours ! Pricing was more than reasonable with the quality of the move we got. These guys really helped us out! Will definitely be looking to use them in any future moves read more

I will be efficient. I will reserve a truck and/or moving team weeks in advance. I will wrap, plan, discard, donate and come out the other side a veritable Martha Stewart of a man, my carefully winnowed possessions sparkling and orderly in my new, spotless home. The reality is me, five days before my move-out deadline, knee deep in detritus, no trucks reserved, little packed, no plan to finish this job, and unsuccessful in guilt-tripping any friends into giving up a gorgeous autumn morning to help my cranky and sullen self lug a granite-trimmed sleeper sofa up a wobbling metal ramp and into a cavernous, exhaust-belching, over-priced moving van (manual transmission only, broken gas gauge and a radio stuck on the all-static channel.) I had reached the knee-deep and no help stage of the process when I finally panicked enough to research moving companies (six days before the end of my lease). Fortunately, I sent a bid request to Moving Brothers. After a quick response that yes, they could fit me in, I glanced over the glowing reviews and booked them at once. . . before returning to the helpless sorting of papers and socks. The team arrived well within the time window. They were punctual, strong, hard-working, friendly, cheerful, careful, meticulous and in general, everything I would like to be when I move house. They quickly figured out the dimensionally-challenging puzzles involved in carrying large furniture through the malevolently-narrow doorways and tight passages of my antique building, then drove 15 miles through heavy traffic, only to unload it all in my new home, which offered the pleasure of two stairways, each with a sharp middle turn. I would have died or gone insane. They just did the job quickly and without damage or complaint. I happily paid their reasonable charges. Thanks, gentlemen, for giving me a vision of a better world, in which moving can be... okay, it's never gonna be fun, but it can, apparently, be competent and quick. I had to drop my review to 3 stars. We realized after getting settled in that one of our bookcases was badly damaged. The movers positioned the damaged side against a wall and we didn't realize until we were getting settled and rearranging furniture. I understand that damages happen but to try to hide it instead of being upfront felt pretty dishonest to me. We used Moving Brothers last week to move items out of storage and a house into a new house. We had a three man crew with a 24 ft truck and a 3 hour minimum for a reasonable price. They were on time and they don't start charging until they arrive and stop charging when they complete the move, unlike other companies that charge you for the time it takes for them to get to your house and the time it takes them to get back to their warehouse. They got everything completed right at the 3 hour minimum time. They were careful with our belongings and didn't damage anything. As other reviews have said, they only take cash and it would be nice if they accepted other forms of payment. I would definitely recommend Moving Brothers and would use them again in the future! read more

Great move with these guys, we had 2 trucks and 4 guys and they loaded up our house, stopped at a storage unit to load 2 units up on the way to our new place, and got us into our new house all in about 6 hours. They stuck to their quote, which was among the lowest of 4 quotes that I priced, and they were very careful with all furniture and boxes (they even disassembled and reassembled large furniture like beds and dining table). Two movers came with a huge fully equipped truck. Eddy and Andrew were amazingly fast and really careful. They secured all items properly. So basically the owner/insurance says it isn't their fault that after delivery our brand new leather couch has multiple rips and our 65 inch TV now has a defect/distorted picture in the lower left corner. The TV was boxed and padded prior to them even coming (perfect picture prior to boxing). It is damaged as though it was dropped, but obviously they say they didn't drop it. They are in such a hurry to leave that you don't even have time to truly inspect things and they didn't offer or even suggest that they could unbox the TVs etc.. Maybe if they weren't in such a hurry they would be a little more careful with things..I guess you get what you pay for with them. read more
