Don't ever let them convince you without conclusive evidence that you have termites. We were told we had termites and spent $3500 on termite station installation, yes installation, you don't own them because Moxie rents them from another company. Then good luck getting them inspected for the annual report. After many failed attempts at getting them inspected and providing the annual report (which we never got) we find out verbally that we never had termites. read more

My experience with Moxie Pest Control has been extremely disappointing. The salesperson convinced me to switch from Greenix about 2 weeks ago . They told me they would place numerous rodent bait stations around my property and spray for bugs. I have about a 0.3-acre lot, and my previous company maintained three stations that were checked and always partly full. About two weeks after Moxie's initial service, I had to call them back because I suddenly had a large fly infestation--something I had never experienced with my previous provider. During that visit, I asked the technician to show me all of the rodent bait stations they had installed. We walked the entire property, and to their own surprise and mine; there was only one. I then became suspicious, and asked the technician to open that bait station to prove there was actually bait inside. It was completely empty. They tried telling me that Greenix over places and that maybe the bait had likely already been eaten by rodents in just two weeks. It appeared there had never been any bait inside. The explanation then changed to saying only one station was needed for my property. That was not what I was told when I signed up, and it certainly didn't match what I observed. Based on my experience, I have no confidence that the rodent service I paid for was actually performed as represented. With the flies I now doubt the quality of their spray. I'm requesting a cancellation. full refund and any reimburse of money needed to now re-enroll with Greenix . I want to share my experience so others can ask to see exactly what is being installed on their property. I will be making a community post on local boards. This is virtually fraudulent to me. Prompt but very poor customer service. Had notice of termite trap inspection and was not advised (nor approved) the 500$!! charge. Contacted office multiple times and was initially promised full refund, then they said 250$, then emailed to say only 150 plus 60$ deduction on next visit. Called again & account manager confirmed I was indeed promised full refund, then after checking could only refund 250(listened to recorded calls). Confirmed I was promised 250 by Joe account agent, but that he was a new employee and "didn't know." Very poor excuse that employee is not knowledgeable. Would not honor his 250$ promise. Supposed to get refund within 3-5 business days although the charge to my bank was put in less than 5 minutes after technician left. DO NOT Recommend, lots hidden charges and extremely poor and disappointing customer service. Reported to BBB. FIND ANOTHER PEST CONTROL COMPANY ! read more

Total scam. They keep trying to sneak charges on my credit card for services not rendered. I initially spent 100$ for them to take 10 minutes spraying my yard. Now they assert I owe them almost $600 and they try running your credit card through without your knowledge. They do this every month, and also send aggressive texts. Beware of the cancelation policy! Total scam. I hired Moxie when a salesman showed up at my door to offer their pest control services. After the 1st initial service they say you'll see more activity until the second 30 day after initial. I noted more activity and then after the second visit, it didn't stop or slow? I called and was told it needed a week more. Needless to say, it didn't work. I chose to cancel and was charged 80% of the remaining services. Over $500 to cancel. Beware, Beware,beware. FRAUD ALERT. Disgusting terrible rip off and theft. I signed up for bug control. Months later a salesman came and offered to cancel the first contract and start a new one which included termite bait traps be placed around my home for $1900.00. I financed the new service with an outside lender. A few months went by and the technician came and preformed the original service. Then I receive a bill for that service $148.00. They kept calling to collect payment for their bad records keeping. They kept asking if they could put it thru my credit card they had on file. I said absolutely not. After a long back and forth trying to cancel my policy under the terms and conditions, they refused and required an additional service or a cancellation fee! We had Moxie Pest Control out to the house last Saturday, and I've got to say--we're impressed. Paul, our technician, did an outstanding job explaining the process and putting us at ease. My wife especially appreciated that he demonstrated how safe the treatment pellets were--he even put his bare hand in a bucket of them to show just how non-toxic they are. I liked that Paul mentioned he has pets himself (dogs and cats), and he felt confident using the same materials at his own home. That spoke volumes. We signed up for quarterly treatments, but Paul let us know they'd be back in 30 days for a no-cost follow-up to check on how things are working. It's only been a few days, and we're already noticing fewer bugs in the house. Excellent service all around! read more

BUYER BEWARE! Absolutely awful company. They sprayed the poison around my sleeping 6-week old infant and I learned almost 2 months later that the chemical is NOT SAFE FOR CHILDREN UNDER 1! They literally sprayed it around him as he slept in his bassinet. These people are an absolute joke, when I canceled the service because of this, they are trying to charge me a late termination fee. The sales guy that came to our home was great. Everything since then has been horrible. Call to schedule for an immediate issue, such as ants or mice, it will take at least a week, if not longer, for someone to come out. From there, they say to call in 2 weeks if problem persists.. they'll come out to spray again. You'd think they would come out immediately, but they do not. That 2 week warranty doesn't work if it's not every 2 weeks! Still have ants and mice problems... we've been with them for over 6 months. 0/10 recommend.
