I've heard so many good things about this place but I usually stick with what I know (Domino's). We ordered it for delivery and got a few different things to give a fair assessment. Everything seemed to be slightly under cooked and very greasy. I was really excited about the pinwheels but they were not very good. The delivery was quick no complaints there. I love supporting a local business when I can without a doubt. Moyock Pizza Kitchen is a great place they show their local support of the kids sports there's jerseys in the wall and some cool merchandise to buy which is awesome. The only issue I have is that I wish they were able to time the chicken wings and pizza a little better. Saturday I was there to pick up an order they were very nice as always but my pizza was sitting on a rack with a heater for at least 15 minutes. And then the chicken wings and tenders came out needless to say the pizza wasn't as hot it was warmish. If they could time the pizza to be more in line with the rest of the order so everything was hot it would be a goldmine in Moyock! They can do it I'm sure they seem to have the staff that cares and likes what they do with some guidance they will be the best in the area! read more

Our go to place when on "that side of town". Pizza is very good and pepperoni rolls rock our grandkids world. Service and staff are great. Yelp wants a ambiance comment, ambience is in the great pizza, food and staff. We call this place "Old Reliable". Thanks Team Moyock!! read more

This pizza place is a GREAT alternative to other chain pizza places. The toppings and crust are awesome, and the cannoli are to die for. Garlic knots are also amazing. My only qualm is that a couple of times (on popular pizza nights like Halloween) the crust in the middle of the pizza has been juuuuuuuust short of being done. read more

We have been coming here for many years, every other month or so, they are getting a 4 star for consistency and for great pizza and sandwiches/wraps... The dough is made in-house and rolled upon ordering so it is always fresh! They are using a standard pizza oven but it works very well for them and the pizzas are rotated regularly to get them lightly browned evenly all the way around... The ingredients have always been fresh and plentiful so no worries about getting slighted on meat or veggies. I have always enjoyed the surf-rider in a spinach wrap, it has Ham, Salami, Provolone, Lettuce, Onion, Green Peppers, Sweet Peppers, Hot Peppers, and a lite Caesar Dressing, I get it toasted so all of flavors meld together... We have also enjoyed the Carolina Steak & Cheese with fresh cut NY strip, provolone & mozzarella, green peppers and onion... We're talking actual cuts of steak, nothing shaved here and cheeses are melted in with the onions and peppers and you can taste each individual ingredient, delicious!! 4 stars only because the garlic knots are not consistent and are made ahead with a partial bake and then set aside in a container and pulled out for each order and placed back in the pizza oven to kind of brown... Without a doubt the best pizza in the area. And by area - I mean Camden, Elizabeth City and South Mills. I haven't gotten pizza in South Mills, but I'm sure MPK will be better. We were cursed out and told not to ever come nor order as it took them over 2 hours to get our food to us. Unbeknownst to us the driver had been pulled over by the police. They offered no refund, offered no compromise, just that they didn't know what do, the woman owner expressed her disgust for me calling to see about our 40min order at the hour mark. Clearly she doesn't know how to operate or conduct herself accordingly when there is a mishap. We tipped the driver and eventually got a refund. They will never get any of my dollars. read more

I typically get a cheese pizza to share with my daughter but the last time I went I wanted a calzone. It tasted ok wasn't the best but the reason I'm giving a 1 star review is because I ended up getting food poisoning. I was completely miserable for pretty much two days. The pain I felt was comparable to child birth. I had a pepperoni calzone with a side of ranch. I really wanted to like this place because the only other pizza option is Dominos. Me & the bro dawgs were in Moyock for some job training over yonder at Academi & decided we didn't want to eat in the chow hall one night so we started what we thought would be an endless search for great pizza. Our search was concluded when we blindly chose Giordanos pizza & what a great god damned choice it was, albeit with no previous planning whatsoever. So there we were at the front counter arguing how many pizzas and what size to get like a fucking married couple when we decided on 5 larges to feed 10 hungry operators. That was BARELY enough as we finished every last slice of pepperoni, plain cheese, green peppers & olives & even that stupid ass Hawaiian type of pizza with stupid ass pineapples on it. Moyock is a fairly small area so it can be hard at times to find what you're looking for in terms of food and restaurants. My Italian sub I got was very dry, but the fries were delicious and this place had the best cannoli I have ever tasted!

We went to Giordano's on April 19th around 730 and we were the only people in the restaurant by the time we left. We ordered a small pizza and I asked for it extra crispy. When it arrived we noticed how soggy the pizza was. The crust was basically peeling off the bottom of the pizza from being so wet. We asked the waitress if they could cook it a little longer. She then proceeded to walk away to talk to someone else I am assuming about the pizza. After a few minutes the owners daughter walked by and we asked her the same question. She then walked away to find out and talked to the manager and had a little pow wow about it for some reason. The manager came over and said we can cook it a little longer but it might not do anything,about that time one of the teenagers that prepares the pizza yelled across that he probably put to much tomato sauce on it. Not one time did anyone offer to remake the soggy pizza. We ate the pizza scrapping off the soggy bits and crumbling them to the side after they came over 2 more times and mentioned how the pizza didn't look right but yet again never offered to remake it. Nice place customer service was friendly polite and outgoing, pizza's very good for the area. Have a great lunch special two slices of pizza and a drink for seven bucks can't go wrong. The wrap I ordered tasted great, however it wasn't a wrap and more like a messy sand which. So if you expecting what you ordered with the wrap it's not it. The sand which / wrap was upside down so everything fell out of it when I picked it up. The pasta salad is outstanding!! Not a memorable lunch out. I wish there was an option for half stars because it really should be 3.5/5 stars. The staff was friendly and the restaurant was very clean! My husband and son ordered a pepperoni and bacon pizza and they say it was pretty dang good. I order a gluten free margherita pizza and it was ok. The crust on the gluten free was burnt and def over done but I know that can be a bit difficult to cook so I get it. But this is the only place I have ever eaten a margherita pizza that doesn't put sauce on the pizza for this particular topping combo. If that's their way of making it, I think a notation on the menu may help others decide if they want to order it or not. The basil was almost non existent and def did not show up in the flavor profile of the pizza. So what I ended up with was a bunch of delicious cheese on a burnt gluten free bread with some tomatoes. I do not order here often as it takes a really long time to get food. I do enjoy the flavor of most of their foods. My biggest complaint is that the last two times I ordered delivery, my sauces have been opened and all over the bag and food. Update. So. Tried to order a pizza online for delivery, early on a Wednesday. The online widget said 75 minutes. Well, stupid me, I placed the order. 90 minutes elapsed. Time to call for an update. "...it's coming out now. Will be right there." I'm 5 minutes door-to-door. Okay. 95ish minutes. Ugh.. coming up on two hours, I call for another update, "...oh, it's coming out of the oven right now." Huh. So, I explain that I'll be already been told that and will now be cancelling the order. Ten minutes later, I get a call from them, "...so, do you want the pizza or not?!" I said, "no. You lied to me. It's not that it was late, you told me it was leaving and it wasn't. So, no. I cancelled the order and I won't order delivery from you again." Then (this is the part you can't make up) the manager calls me, about 30 minutes later, to tell me that I have upset the "children" that work there and I am now blocked from ever ordering from them again. I already told them I was done with them for lying to me. It wasn't about a "2-hour pizza, 5- minutes away on a Wednesday", but that alone might have been enough. The pizza isn't that good to begin with. Usually has a burnt taste. Probably because it's made by "children". Good to know. Honestly, I've never been admonished by a pizza shop for a failed order.
