I honestly wish that i had sonething good to say about this place, asides for portions being acceptably shareable. We ordered the jerusalem mix, which was pretty bland and tasteless. The salads were ok, but not something I'd look forward to eating again, ever. Overpriced and out of the way, kosher or not, you could do better and find better options here in miami. Motzart over on stirling road used to be pretty good, but I'm not sure if they are associated or not with this place. As a small business owner myself it pains me to leave a negative review, I know how hard it can cut. However, given the astronomical pricing here one should expect top notch everything. As we were being seated a neighboring table complained that his dish was inedible. He had pushed it aside and never touched it again. I ordered shakshuka and my table mate the fish & chips. The flavor and texture of the fish indicated it'd been around a while. My ravenous partner could stomach no more than a bite, and also pushed it aside not touching it again. The chips (fries) were good and he subsisted on them for the evening. My $18 mojito was seemed to be sprite and rum. Shakshuka is an acquired taste and is open to interpretation, so I'll mostly hold off my opinion except to say it's my least favorite of all the ones I've had to date. Given the price point here, I expected more. And the naked indifference of the staff to polite indications of displeasure (both mine and the table next to us) left me even more disappointed. I'll typically give anyone or anyplace a mulligan, we all have off days, but given the above I won't be back. read more

Very disappointed.... I came here special because I heard how good their food was..... I came with my family and we were seated inside. After some time the waitress came to take our order. One of the items we ordered was Beef kebab well done. As time passed by we saw our food just sitting on the counter waiting to be picked up and brought to us. We kept asking other waiters to call our waitress or at least help us to get our food. We asked for sliced lemons about 5/6 times and after 10/15 minutes we received it. I understand kosher food is more expensive than non-kosher food, so this was expected, but the prices at this restaurant were just outrageous - sure, the portions are big enough to share, but the flavor is missing, which is disappointing because when they bring out the giant plates of food it all looks delicious, but when you bite into it, it's all very bland and tasteless. We ordered three dishes, of which we liked none. My daughter ordered the kids chicken tenders, they were rock hard and missing seasoning, my mother ordered eggplant with garbanzo beans and tahini...this was alright and the best of all three plates. Lastly, my boyfriend and I shared the Israeli mix because the picture on the menu looked amazing and as they set the plate in front of us both our mouths watered until we took the first bite and we tasted...nothing. We come from Orlando to Miami and we where looking for a Israeli food place to eat before bed time, so we come to Mozart after asking a few friend that didn't recommend us to go there but we where thinking how bed it can de.... Too expensive for plain atmosphere and food. Pricy because it's kosher. Imagine a plate of hummus about $20. Anyways the food is tasty but I had better. If you want a kosher place not far from the beach and your hotel in sunny isles so this is one of those places you can go to. There are other restaurants in the area, it's really not the only kosher place. Just remember don't dress up fancy...It's more like a lunch place. I ordered for pickup and was very disappointed. I ordered Israel salad and three skewers which offered a side for each skewer. Not sure when they changed ownership but the new ones are taking advantage of the kosher community by jacking up prices and reducing portions. When I told the girl that their website has one price on the menu and then when you place your order it shows other prices she rudely said that was the old owners prices. I think it's the new owners responsibility to update the website. They don't serve the mezza salads anymore. The skewers were tiny pieces. I only got two sides because I was told one side for each skewer but that's not how it's shown when I ordered online. The side, string beans were inedible because they were super salty and seemed to be soaked in soy sauce. This is one of my favorite kosher meat restaurants in the area. The environment is relaxed, the food is consistently good, and the service is great. After trying a few different restaurants in an attempt to try something new, I found that I prefer Mozart for a laid back relaxed dinner with friends or family. I've had quite a few dishes and enjoyed them all equally. The side of green beans is absolutely delicious (if you like garlic), the steaks are great and cooked just the way you ask for it. The last time I was here, there were no available tables outside but they told us they would move us outside the minute a table became available which they did. I then decided to order carry out the following night as I am staying at a hotel near by with limited options, and got the exact same meal. I open the carry out box and to my surprise, the portions are about half the size, and tasted pretty terribly.
