EGE was excellent at serving us. Our food was exceptional and the restaurant was popping. Our entrees were authentic as if we were actually in Turkey. We were very satisfied with our delicious choices. DEFINITELY A MUST TRY!

Delicious, delicious, delicious. A great hidden gem in Hallandale Alacati is the kind of Mediterranean food you hope for with such a striving middle eastern population around. The falafel is amazing, the babaganush is divine. And they even give you free bread with your meal! I absolutely love the decoration here, it really makes you feel like you are in a middle eastern restaurant and they even have little trinkets you can buy as well. The wait staff is also the best, there was a very large party in the restaurant but they made sure to still spend time and attention with us even though they were understaffed. Definitely worth a try.

We came here to celebrate my friend's birthday. Alacati never disappoints. The service from Hasan is always exceptional. He really went above and beyond tonight and made sure to sing Happy Birthday. He really made us feel welcomed. The space is very comfortable. They have big tables for large parties/families without being crowded. The seating is comfy. It is always clean, and I love the many Turkish lamps throughout the restaurant. Tonight, we had the falafel, saksuka, lahmacun (my favorite), kofte, and Iskender kabob. All of it was very delicious. Every time I visit, I always enjoy the food. We always share our dishes, family style.

If you are looking for authentic quality and flavor in Miami, Alacatı Mediterranean Restaurant is a true 'hidden gem'. The food, the impeccable cleanliness, and the level of service are so professional that they easily rival the best restaurants in Turkey. The expertise of the owner and the staff is evident in every detail; it is rare to find a place that cares so genuinely about customer comfort. This is more than just a place to eat,it is a true gastronomic experience. If you happen to be in the Hallandale area, missing out on this experience would be a real loss.

Lamb Chops, sorry didn't get pic of fish!

We enjoyed sitting outside on their patio. Girlfriend had branzino whole fish that was beautifully grilled, very tasty. I had the medium charred lamp chops. Plate had 4 nice sized chops, also wonderfully grilled. Tzadiki was OK and the tabouli, very good. I look forward to leftovers, 2 chops, and both sides. I'll try the bread then. It was quiet at lunch, waitress was attentive but, could have remembered simple requests of more lemon without reminder so, only thing I could say was not best.

This place was so great and authentic! It felt like we were back in Europe for our lunch. The food was wonderful and very flavorful, from the chicken shishkabob to the tiramisu dessert. The stuffed grape leaves tasted great and you can tell they were homemade. The service was friendly and fast. We will definitely be back for that Greek salad. Plus the interior of the restaurant is sooo vibrant and fun with all the millions of Turkish lamps.

Live in the area so decided to come back again and have dinner . Started off with stuffed grape leaves. Very good so good forgot to take a picture :) Wifey ordered the gyro plate which was amazing with an interesting Bulgar wheat . Myself I ordered the stuffed cabbage that were Apsolutely the best I've ever had !

My last experience before this one was definitely better. Just do yourself a favor if you want to try their lahmacun, to call 2 hours in advance. I have a feeling they fired the good ones in their staff and I think they were looking for another chef. Something was off about their soup -- it wasn't as bisque like last time. It felt like chicken soup with bits of lentil and that's it. I just wanted something light. The only good thing I ate was the bread while I was waiting. I would have given them another chance if the waiter wasn't unfriendly or ignored me while serving only two other tables. Ambiance? Well, it was late lunch, but not that crowded. I'm sorry, but "yok, artik!" (No way/no more.)

This place is recent. The ambiance is very nice and the service is good and pleasant x they have foods for all taste. Portions are good and the food tasty. It is worth giving it a try.

It's a kind of place that you come with your family start with a Mediterranean sampler because of course it's going to bring a little bit of everything then the chicken Shawarma, which, with the creamiest dreamier sauce the halloumi but those lamb chops I think my biggest regret was not ordering more of the lamb chops, like I was literally drooling on that. There's even a seven spaces burger with actual lamb. You have to check them out.

The falafel was terrible, the chicken kebob plate was awful, and the overall food quality was completely unacceptable for somewhere calling itself Mediterranean cuisine. The dish claimed to come with peppers there was literally one tiny piece in the entire kebab. The chicken had no flavor and tasted poorly, and the rice was completely off, more like Mexican rice than anything remotely Mediterranean. What's even more frustrating is the way the staff handled it. When we raised concerns, they didn't take any responsibility and brushed it off as if the issue was on us. No attempt to fix the problem, no acknowledgment just dismissive and unprofessional. And somehow, they charge a mandatory 20% service fee for this. For what? There was zero service, zero care, and zero effort to make things right. Charging customers extra while delivering this level of food and attitude is unacceptable. Do not waste your time or money here. There are far better options out there. Honestly, I'd take store-bought hummus from Publix over this. If you actually want good Mediterranean food and proper service, go to Ethos instead it's night and day. This place is not worth it.

Even after we politely said "thank you," there was no response whatsoever. For a restaurant of this level, basic courtesy should be a given. A simple "you're welcome" or "please have a look at the menu, and we'll be back shortly to take your order" would make a significant difference. Small details like these shape the entire guest experience. I hope Matek pays more attention to the attitude and hospitality of the front-of-house staff.

I would rate the FOOD 10 stars if it was possible. The calamari, Greek salad, chicken kebab, steak kebab, shrimp appetizer, and drinks were out of this world phenomenal. As for the ambience, if you choose to be inside during the bellydancing show- be prepared to be overstimulated and not be able to hear anything that your table was saying to you. Make sure you're in the mood for extremely loud music and chaos all over. if you're in the headspace, it's a great time! If you're not in the mood for the madness, eat outside! I literally can't wait to go back to this restaurant... PS obviously beach parking can be complicated but they have valet for five bucks, which is really helpful!
