To further elaborate, the entire staff at Elmwood Dental Group is incredible.. dentists, dental assistants, hygienists, and front desk staff-literally everyone there! Elmwood Dental Group make visiting the dentist an extremely pleasurable experience. More recently, my four year-old son fell face first onto a bench while visiting the Strong Museum of Play. With a quick call to Elmwood Dental, they had us in office in less than an hour. Their staff are so amazing with the little ones! Dr. Chris made his x-ray super painless, and as much fun as a four year-old can have getting an x-ray on a tender tooth. Dr. Comfort even gave out her cell number in case he had an issue over the weekend, while the office was closed. Additionally, I want to add that Kayla, the hygienist who worked on my two young boys, made it so fun for them, it seemed like a playdate. Same goes with the filling that Dr. Comfort performed on my older son. He was genuinely enjoying himself and having fun the whole time. I love this practice and would recommend it to anyone in need of dental care. Which is everyone, really. My family has only been going here for about a month, but already the staff feel like family. When I brought my concerns to the front desk, the only response I received was, "we dropped the ball," which felt dismissive and did not address the situation in a meaningful way. This entire experience showed a lack of communication, sensitivity, and respect for my son's needs. I truly hope this office takes feedback like this seriously and makes improvements, especially when it comes to accommodating patients with special needs. Had two crowns replaced on my two upper font teeth. The tech doing the preparation for the crowns…read morehad pretty much little experience at what she was doing and as a result the one crown does not reach the gum line and both of them hit my bottom teeth making it impossible to chew foo. I went back and the dentist tried to grind down two of the bottom teeth which were also crowns and ended up exposing the metal build up posts in the process. And after that they still hit each other while trying to close and bite. The attitude was pretty much there was nothing he could do about it. also I was charged for core build up on both teeth and insurance was billed for the core build up which I'm 100% sure was never done. (Insurance fraud?) When the new crowns did not fit right they should have been replaced with correct fitting crowns. As others have stated I agree it's all about the money and not about quality dental procedures. To correct the problem I had to have the two bottom crowns replaced so they no longer hit the top teeth. Fortunately they (Cornerstone Dental) knows what they're doing and corrected the issue that Henrietta Family Dental caused. So all said and done the two procedures totaled almost $7,000.00. My recommendation is to avoid this dental practice. I can highly recommend Cornerstone Dental to anyone needing dental work. Save yourself a headache and stay away from Henrietta Family Dental.
