Invisalign clients BEWARE! Unfortunately after several Invisalign "Revisions" under the care of Dr. Valerio, my teeth have more functional issues than when I started and the cosmetic goals have not been met. Now I need to pay an orthodontist to fix and complete treatment, doubling my cost and time investment. I recommend going to an actual orthodontist rather than a dentist playing the part of an orthodontist. Based on my experience, you would have a better chance of good results and it will likely be cheaper too! 7/20/23 UPDATE: Linden Oaks Dental has formally offered me a portion of my money back in order to remove this review. 9/14/23 UPDATE: Went to court to seek a partial refund in the amount it will cost me to complete treatment. Dr. Dvonch and his attorney were there, but not Dr. Valerio - the person that conducted treatment. 9/20/23 UPDATE: They are now refusing to provide all of the medical records after three separate requests. read more

Thanks to Dr. Dvonch (and my prosthodontist Dr. Brodine) I have my smile back. I hesitated for a loong time to do something about my missing teeth (lost to an auto accident). I was VERY reluctant to pursue implants, as I was concerned (nay, anxious) about the entire procedure. Dr. Dvonch walked me through the whole process, answered ALL of my questions, helped me pursue alternate routes and even let me choose the lab (Legacy Dental Labs) that made my replacement teeth. I have had many expensive procedures over the years... and have been through a few dentists. I highly recommend Dr. Dvonch & his team to anyone. Though I will say I don't like his TV ads. read more

We have been patients of Dr Dvonch for many years. All of my children started there. It makes me sad to think of how I was treated today by the reception. I have new insurance provided through NYState of Health. I arrived for my appointment, checked in and was very rudely informed they do not accept "non-employer insurance". I would have to pay full price. When I asked if there were any other options of payment: no, No, NOPE, appointment CANCELLED. I would have liked to hear my options before I was SHOWN THE DOOR. Linden Oaks Dental is awesome. All of the staff I saw from the start to end of my visit were smiling and seemed genuinely happy to be at work. The waiting room has a Keurig with coffee/tea, a coat rack, and tv; very welcoming! I went for my first visit, and it was a great experience. Visits are confirmed by text, email, or call - you choose! There is a bit of paperwork to fill out at the beginning of the visit, but they can also mail this information to your house ahead of time. Despite being a first visit, it took less than an hour. The machines and tools they have are state-of-the-art and allow the process to go very smoothly, including a panoramic x-ray machine and ultrasonic tools for cleaning teeth. During the cleaning, I was very comfortable, and there was even a tv to watch! Lastly, I was able to bring my baby and leave her in the car carrier in the room. The staff wanted to see her and seemed to enjoy having the baby there instead of annoyed, which was great! The hygienist even helped me keep the baby happy as we were waiting for the dentist. The only kind of negative part is the parking. The office is in a medical building, so the parking isn't necessarily very close to the entrance. Not so much fun when it's raining or snowing! Just be prepared. I highly recommend this dental office. Every staff member is SO nice and I felt welcome, comfortable, and satisfied with every aspect of the visit. read more

Love this dentist but don't understand why they never take me on time. It's really unprofessional.

I'm extremely picky about dentists and hygienists. I am also a nightmare patient for them, I'm sure - multiple personal issues with dental work, pain, sedation, etc. Anyhow, I'm a mess, and I took a chance on Linden Oaks Dental when I moved to Rochester, and after a few minutes of explaining my neuroses to Heather, she took my x-rays and started my cleaning. She was friendly, empathic, and made me feel as comfortable as I could be, even though it probably took her twice as long because I needed lots of breaks. She gave me some good news about my teeth along with some suggestions, and I left feeling like I wasn't a total dental failure, like I so often do. (Except from Dr. Nikman in Beverly Hills, who is also a wonderful doctor.) Dr. Dvonch spent about 5 minutes checking me out after the cleaning, listened to my concerns, and kindly did some extra paperwork so that I could use my flexible spending account for expenses. I was highly impressed with Heather, Dr. Dvonch, and the folks at the front desk, who greeted me and said goodbye warmly. Five stars! read more

I was going to switch my whole family over to this practice because they accepted out dental insurance. By the time of our first appt which was for my son, they did not take our insurance and we were billed over $300. We have been to a few new dentists and have never paid even close to this for a routine checkup. This group is all about the money. I would have never gone to them if I knew they didn't take my insurance which they did when the appt was made. Very disappointed and will never return even if my insurance changed and I could go there at a lower cost. read more

I scheduled an appointment for a cleaning over the phone. I asked specifically for a routine cleaning, and I would be paying via insurance. I came in and spent 50% of the hour-long appointment holding my own mouth open for someone to take pictures of my teeth with a DSLR. Totally bizarre. Then the doctor met with me and talked to me about invisaline and retainers to straighten my already perfectly straight teeth even more. After the sales pitch, I was told that my appointment was over and I had to come back for the cleaning and they scheduled me for over a month later. This was never communicated to me up front and was pretty annoying. The staff at the front desk was very dismissive and rude when I talked to them about it. Overall it was a strange experience and nothing like my other experiences at other dental offices in the Rochester area. read more

I have very sensitive teeth and have always hated going to the dentist. I needed some fairly extensive care so I had heard of Linden's sedation care and scheduled a consultation. While I was initially slightly surprised by the cost, it's true that you get what you pay for. I had extensive scaling done, decayed teeth removed, fitted for a three tooth bridge, had a temporary installed all under sedation and never felt a thing. I don't really like going to any dentist... mostly because I love sweets. But in general I have found Linden Oaks Dental to be slowly winning me over. The staff is nice, courteous, and very receptive. They have always been really good about following up with me regarding dental work quotes or general questions. They also make verifying appointment dates very simple via text and email. They have also been very accommodating to me regarding random appointments, fitting me in whenever they can. Visited Linden Oaks dental today for the first time. I had been looking for a new dentist as I had not been pleased with consistency of care elsewhere. I was VERY impressed with the service and care at Linden Oaks Dental. The staff is very friendly and personable. The hygienist Kathy was very thorough with my cleaning. She kept me well informed through the whole process. As an added benefit she helped keep my 7 month old entertained during my cleaning which she didn't have to do. It was greatly appreciated and helped ease my mom anxiety about going to the dentist. I didn't realize until I got home that I had lost my earrings at my visit. The whole staff went out of their way to help me find them, which they didn't have to do. I can't say enough about their service. It was above and beyond what I could have asked for.
