Had to stop by this place on a Sunday as soon as it opened at 11am because it's been so crowded lately with a long wait time to get a table. Super quaint place , older building with modern charm. Very clean and tables well spaced out. Our server (Roxy) was friendly, helpful, and very busy as the place started to get crowded. We tried the caprese salad (very good) as a starter. Really fresh ingredients , the tomato slices and moz were super thick. But let's talk about the pizza ! There's house specialty pizzas and create your own options with at least 20 toppings and sauces to choose from. We went with the il Giardino d'Italia pizza and it was so delicious, the toppings were fresh and toasted up with the pie bake. Whole roasted garlic cloves , red peppers , red onions , mushrooms, black olives, and spinach on a slice of crunchy, toasty pizza crust. The pepperoni pie was just as good. The pepperonis were the cupped kind , collecting all the pepperoni grease of life but not making the crust soggy. The sauce was delicious too , on the sweeter side to balance out all the savory notes. Great experience all around. Will definately be back to try everything else. read more

Went today at lunch because I had a clinic in the area. I had the best caesar salad I've had in Texas. I am taking my family back tonight because it was that good and I can't wait to try more items. Flew in from out of town to visit daughter and son-in-law (they live locally). We were trying to decide where to eat and I searched, "best restaurant Corpus Christi" Several results came in and one was Mozzafiato with great reviews 4.9. The review were correct, WOW. Jerry met us and immediately sat us. We had two (2) amazing pizza's, Harbor Bridge and the La Carne and topped it off with cheesecake made from scratch. Mark the owner came over to make an introduction and to make sure everything was acceptable. Jerry's attention to detail and level of service was outstanding. Oh my GOSH! This place has been open 6 mos in Corpus Christi and the food was INCREDiBLE!! Mark is the owner and I told him that my 100% Italian mother would have approved!! Don't wait too long to try it cuz you'll be missing out. The pizza crust was so good and the sauce was spot on! My mom would have loved that sauce! The ZeUS salad was super fresh and the dressing was very good. All the desserts are made in-house! Worth every single calorie folks. Just go there... I can't rave enough. First time at this joint. We went here for lunch for our son's birthday and would not say it was horrible, but it was not amazing. Your pizza gets soggy by the time you finish your first slice. We did try two pizzas and this was the same for both. Atmosphere is nice with low noise. The staff is nice, but the girl seems to need more training. Twice the gentleman waiter had to take care of us however most of the time seemed like we were forgotten about while there. After getting our pizza no one checked on us, and then almost had to waive our waitress down for our check and to go box. We ran out of water and napkins. Last I specifically asked if there was a service charge for using credit card and our waitress so "oh no, we do not" and guess what, I got home to see the digital receipt and there was a charge. They added a 3% charge to my ticket after saying they did not do that and not to mention I had the cash. This is not cool and shows that the staff needs better training all around! read more
