My dad and husband ordered the minestrone soup and really enjoyed it. My husband and I shared 2 sandwiches: the spicy Italian sausage and meatball sandwiches. There was no spice in the spicy sausage so we added a lot of black pepper. The meatballs were small and a little dry but tasty. The power went out just before we got our meal so we weren't sure what was going to happen. The staff was apologetic and trying to figure out what was going on. We got our food and it was hot and fresh. We were told that we would need to pay in cash which I rarely have on hand so I'm not sure what would have happened if I said that we didn't have any. We ate in the dark and were offered no compensation. The wine list is atypical of an Italian restaurant and having to eat by only the light of the front door being open without any kind of compensation isn't the service one would expect.
