Thank you! I called last Friday when our washing machine started leaking. Mr. Appliance came out the same morning to diagnose the problem, and help order the part needed for repair. This morning the part was installed and the washing machine is back to working order. I appreciate the helpfulness of the tech, and quickness or the repair! *One note: The tech was great, but kind of threw his tools around/dropped them instead of placing them on our wood floor. This was just a little thing I noticed as I was slightly worried about scratching/damage. Overall a great experience with this company however, and he did a great job fixing it! read more

I would definitely use Mr. Appliance in future. While they were ultimately unable to fix my oven - the control boards were burnt to unrecognizable condition - they made a thorough attempt over several visits to solve the problem. They ultimately charged only the diagnostic fee. I feel like Chuck and Kent were reliable and thorough and would use this service again. read more

We used the Dayton branch of Mr Appliance. We agreed to needed repairs and paid for the service and set up an agreed upon time to return for the repair. In the meantime the Mr Appliance we used went out of business and failed to refund our over $600. payment. Corporates solution...call the franchise. Needless to say we have had no response. Needless to say I do not recommend using their services. read more

My dryer stopped working so I called Mr. Appliance and they sent a tech out 2 days later which wasn't bad. The problem came when I got the bill to replace a fuse (that I could have bought on Amazon for $7.99 and install in about 10 minutes) and it cost me $231.95. I emailed the customer service team and the response I got was rude and unprofessional. I won't be using Mr. Appliance again. read more

We have used this company exclusively for issues. The last two visits have been less than satisfactory. Our icemaker has continued to be a problem for us as we bought this refrigerator. We were one day of warranty and they charge us for the repair even though we've given them all of our business, they would make an exception, and we still have a microwave, but that doesn't work because of them. read more

I paid Mr. Appliance approximately 425.00 to fix my dishwasher. After 4 trips to my house, and time off from work, the final result was that the dishwasher could not be repaired. They refunded me 135.00 of the fee, and I am left with a non working dishwasher. Unacceptable. I do NOT recommend their service. read more

Technician was prompt and courtesy however apparently not knowledgeable at all. Washer was not draining. Technician came and did the exact same thing my boyfriend did and drained and tried to reset it and concluded it was the motor on the pump which was going to be 600 or so to fix apparently (obviously i can buy a new washer for that). He collected the 100 dollars and left in 15 minutes or so. I then bought a washer and had someone come take this one who immediately hooked it up and it worked concluding that the issue was NOT the washer and was something with my drain. This repair man has now cost me purchasing a new washer. What a complete joke. read more

We had a tech come out to look at our dryer. He told us that we needed to replace the motor and the blower, which would be $600. We declined and paid the $100 diagnostic fee. Ended up that a sock was caught in the motor, just needed to remove that and it worked perfectly again. So either the tech did not bother to properly diagnose the problem, or he was lying to overcharge us. read more

Although the technician was very professional, I felt the price was extremely high. They were trying to charge me $250 to replace the oven igniter. This specific task only takes around 20 mins to complete. I asked how much he was charging for the part itself and he said $60. I found the same part online, same model number and everything for only $15 to $20 on multiple sites. I ended up paying the $100 diagnostic fee and replacing it on my own. I'll try somewhere else next time. This specific experience rubbed me the wrong way. read more

We were very unhappy with the service. The technician was unable to fix our dishwasher and told us that the part needed was no longer available and the dishwasher would need to be replaced. We got a second opinion and the dishwasher was fixed. We let Mr. Appliance know and they initially agreed to refund the fee. However, they later changed their mind-stating that they were unable to get the part even though someone else clearly could. If they could not get the part, they should have at least told us where to get it or let us know that there were options other than replacing a 4 year old dishwasher. Without the second opinion, we would be out the cost of a new dishwasher in addition to the fee they charged for faulty and misleading information. The company initially seemed like they wanted to do the right thing, but then had a bunch of excuses for their bad information. That has really added to the disappointment. read more

Technician from Mr. Appliance came to repair a refrigerator that was not holding temperature. After three failed attempts and numerous calls the repairman(Kent) just simply did not show up for the last appointment. I am out $325.00 dollars and the refrigerator was not repaired. I called another company who repaired it the first try and for less money. read more

I would give zero stars if I could. We had our washer looked at today and will now have to have a second opinion, as I don't feel the technician who was sent out was experienced enough. Upon calling them, Judy very bluntly told me there would be no sort of reimbursement to our $100 service fee for 12 minutes of the technicians time. Great customer service. Was able to get a tech to diagnose the day I called and fixed 1.5 days later due to ordering a part. Was there was scheduled (and even early the first appointment!). Install was quick. Technician was VERY nice and empathetic about the fact that we were repairing a fridge that was 3 years old! Hopefully I wont have anything else break, but will call these guys if I do! read more

I had the condensor replaced on the refrigerator. I did not expect $175 per hour labor charge, but I didn't ask for an estimate before repair which is my fault. Returned to the house later after repair to find the kitchen floor into the living room flooded - the water line connection to the refrigerator was not tightened. Notified the office / office manager of the issues and didn't get a response from them. read more

Very bad experience. After booking the job, tech came out without the right part, even after being told what problem was and for what brand of refrigerator. Was told I'd be called later that day about new part and when tech would be returning. No one called, had to call them next day. Job was booked for several days later. Tech didn't show in time frame I was given, so I called, they said they tech was finishing another job and would be there soon, but they would call me back when they had a specific time frame. No one called. Received a text message an hour after the tech was supposed to arrive, saying he'd be there soon. So tech arrived an hour and a half after the time I was told and was repairing my fridge while I'm trying to make dinner. Horribly inconvenient. When called manager to notify him of issues, he refused to compensate my time that was wasted. Look elsewhere. read more

I called them on a Monday for an appointment. I was told that someone would be there at 8am the next morning. At 730 the next morning tech calls to let me know he was on the way. A few minutes before 8 he arrived. His name was Ryan. He did a diagnostic test and told me what was wrong and how much to repair. It was a fair price and I told him to go ahead and fix it. He was very polite and professional. I can highly recommend this company. It was a pleasure meeting and doing business with them. read more

Older model Samsung refrigerator stopped working New Year's Eve morning. Called Mr Appliance Tuesday morning January 3rd (first non holiday time to call). Appointment was made for that afternoon. Ryan came out and was very professional. Dropped a small rug outside to wipe his feet, then put on shoe protectors. Diagnosed problem as a bad circuit board. One was ordered from Missouri. Appointment made for Thursday morning, two days later. Ryan again followed the same procedure when he arrived and was equally as professional. Circuit board replaced and refrigerator working fine since. Was the first time dealing with Mr Appliance, and will call them again with any appliance repair. read more
