Was so excited to see a bagel place close by so decided to check it out. The place was busy so that's always a good sign! They have a unique bagel display board behind the counter highlighting their traditional & unique flavors. It's a standard bagel shop atmosphere...a good place to gather for coffee and a quick bite. As for the bagel, it was disappointing. While it was tasty, it wasn't a bagel. It was more like a roll since it didn't have that nice chewy crust that comes from parboiling the bagels before baking. This location consistently cannot get an order right. I have gotten just a sausage egg and cheese bagel, to then get home and unwrap it for it to be just a bagel with nothing else. We then called to get a refund for them to then tell us that we need to bring the bagel back to prove it first. Today I ordered the Hang ten, which should have fries, ham, turkey, cheese, egg and cream cheese. When I received it, it just had ham and cheese. I took it back and they then gave me a bagel with just egg and cheese. At this point I was over it and made the decision that I will not give this place my money again. It is unfortunate because years ago this location was amazing, but in the past 2-3 years the service has gotten bad. Enjoyed the fast, friendly service but disappointed that the "bagels" they serve here are not bagels. They look like bagels but are actually some type of roll or biscuit. They don't taste like bagels or have the same consistency and texture of a bagel. They're okay but I wouldn't recommend them to anyone used to eating real bagels. read more

Ordered a dozen bagels, cream cheese and breakfast to go. Some bagels were not right ones that I ordered and wouldn't be good with the cream cheese (veg). And the veggie cream cheese seemed bland; not that I know how to make it, but I've never had it where it didn't have any discernible flavor (even as cream cheese it seemed a little underwhelming). Yesterday, late morning as I was doing some casual work, my Mrs. noticed that I had scrolled through Mr. Bagel Meister on Yelp and suddenly had the craving for one of their bagel sandwiches. I mean, I hadn't eaten yet and could go for one of my favs. Why not? Food: Cesar Wrap, Cesar Bagel Sandwich on Jalapeno Cheddar and a Chicken, Egg and Cheese Bagel Sandwich on Sundried Tomato. The Cesar is easily one of my favorites in town (please read through my previous reviews to see why) and I'm drawn to it on the menu, even when I want to order something new. Our son also fell in love with the combinations of the Cesar but prefers tortillas over bagels, so of course we made his a wrap. That wonderful heat which will leave tiny beads of sweat on your forehead, is simply unmatched when paired with the cool cream cheese and meats. It's just that good. The chicken, egg and cheese was also another homerun for my Mrs. and she actually wrote a separate review for it...so I'll let that be. For me...another incredible food experience but you have to get here early on the weekends. By 11 am, half or more of the bagels are already gone. Fortunately, my Jalapeno Cheddar always seems to be available. Yay me. SCORE: 5 STARS!! SERVICE: Time after time, Mr. Bagel Meister at the Pointe has always been "on point" with their service, with the exception of the hiccup yesterday morning. Since my previous 3 visits, I chose to call my order in ahead of time so that it would be ready to pick up once I arrived. The pleasant young lady on the phone took my order, repeated it back to me and stated it would be approx. 10 - 15 mins. Cool. It's gonna take me 15 mins to get there so that works out well. 20 mins later, I pull up, left my wife outside in the running Jeep and ventured inside. The place was jamming. At least 4 - 5 couples were outside waiting on their orders, with another 6 or 7 patrons inside. So at this point...I'm feeling pretty damn good about calling in that order early. I walked up to the counter, the young lady who greeted me (Almost certain this is the same person who took my phone order based on her voice) and asked how I could be helped. I gave her my name and stated I called in an order 20 minutes prior for pickup. She had this look of "oh sh*T!" on her face, fumbled around for a few seconds and there it was...my called-in order on a small piece of paper sitting next to the register. My order was never placed. I just looked at her...waiting for the next words to come out. She raced and said that mine would be rushed with an apology. It was placed as a rush order and my wait continued for another 8 mins or so as my Mrs. waited outside. Although you recognized the mistake and did the best to rectify the situation...my order was still forgotten, nonetheless, and cost me more time waiting, when the expectation was to go in, pay, receive and be on my way. Nice recovery from the fumble...but you lost about 15 yards on that play. If you want to be exceptional...you have to provide exceptional and CONSISTENT service. Maybe a training opportunity here? SCORE: 2.5 STARS!! OVERALL SCORE: Once again, the food was amazing and precisely what I expect out of this shop. The service on this day, fell short though. 3.7 STARS!! read more

There were over a dozen choices of bagels like plain, salted, jalapeño, blueberry, egg, multigrain, poppy, maple bacon, etc. For lunch there were several choices of sandwiches made w Boar Heads meats and choice of tots (regular or sweet potato), fries or chips. The bagels are great! I love the Baconator and the Asiago especially. The lunch sandwiches are also good. Placed my order, watched 3 other people order AFTER me, watched them let someone order the exact bagel I ordered and had me switch my bagel out. They made that persons sandwich before mine and mine was a very easy sandwich... Since moving down here last March 2018 we finally found a bagel place that we enjoyed. The main draw for us was the best Boston Cream donuts along with other pastries available ever day.
