Found this place last minute, and I'm so glad we did! Absolutely delicious! Bagels were fresh, soft but still had the crunch on the outside. opted for scallion cream cheese and it was a 10/10. Donuts were also sooo fresh and very soft! What a hidden gem! Loved my experience here!

Thank you for baking these fresh! So good!

Why do I keep coming back here? Over the last two months I might have gone to Round 4 times or so. Every single time it is so slow and employees are visibly confused. This isn't exactly peak season either. I know it's busy year round in Wilmy now, but this spot needs to tighten up badly. I WANT to love this place but it desperately needs leadership presence and a stronger focus on the product. If you arrive past 10 AM they will sell out of donuts (whatever kind you want, they won't have it) and won't make any more. This is bagels AND donuts... It's in the name, logo, merch, whatever... Anyway, this morning I showed up at 6:30 AM and purchased donuts, only to be told they weren't even made yet. Employee: "make sure to let customers know we don't make donuts until we open." What? Why? What sense does that make to not have the full menu of baked goods at opening? It's a bakery at heart, no? Help me understand why it's so difficult to get a chocolate donut here. I waited around for an extra 5-10 minutes for hot and delicious donuts so one star for that and one star for the filthy, dirty countertop... put a rag in someone's hand! The lack of cleanliness is noticeable as other reviewers have pointed out. I don't wanna give up on this place but y'all are making it easy.

Wow one of the top 5 bagels I've ever had! Service: These people work hard and the place was packed on a Saturday at noon. We had to wait about 30 min for our bagels after ordering in the shop. Pro tip - order ahead online!! Ambiance: classic bagel deli. Simple yet so effective. Definitely a popular place for students - they offer a 10% discount for military or valid student ID. Food: I got a sausage egg and cheese on a sesame bagel. The bagel was warm, fresh, and flavorful. The eggs are cooked to order. The cheese was warm and melted. Great quality and a great price!

Out of chocolate donuts at 10am is kinda ridiculous. You should be more prepared. Update: Gave this place another chance and this time I ordered again chocolate donuts... literally 6:30 am no excuse to not have those but I got this ?? I do not like sprinkles, especially these... they taste like mouthwash or licorice or something. Yuck. I'm sure the owner will have some excuse as they do on all the bad reviews but seriously do better. Lost a customer. Edit: in response to the owners reply which was exactly what I thought it would be. Zero accountability of course. That's great you think your bakers do a good job, but obviously they're not if you are 86 donuts when you open? Obviously you need to retrain your staff if they're sending out the wrong product? Maybe take a course yourself in hospitality. Yikes. Bad look for you. The way the owner replies to reviews on Google and is passive while taking no accountability is disgusting! Shame on you. Very poor business practices.

Everything bagel Sausage + egg + cheddar cheese I added: tomato's + grilled pepper & onions + mayo & hot sauce (in place of chipotle sauce )

To start off, im new to Wilmington. Second, I hate to be this guy who is a self anointed bagel snob, but I am. Growing up in a Jewish household from New York, we take our bagels seriously. It's hard to find a bagel spot that hits just right. This bagel shop was absolutely incredible. The quality was amazing and the price was so low. I've had $25 bagels that weren't even close to this. The staff was also so silly and enjoyable to encounter. This was my first time and I will be going back for my all time fav, bagel and lox. 10/10. Will be taking all my out of town guests here! Only "complaint" I have is not having some type of chipotle sauce, but let's be real, that's rare for a bagel joint. Can't wait to go back

TOTAL: $6.52 - Everything Bagel with Scallion Cream Cheese - Chocolate Sprinkle Donut - Strawberry Sprinkle Donut (Donuts were buy one, get one free when I visited) ‍SERVICE: Excellent. Kind & friendly folks. Even complimented my sunglasses. FOOD: The everything bagel with scallion cream cheese was great! Nice chewy texture, crispy on the outside with the perfect amount of shmear. Donuts were good, too, especially the strawberry iced, but the bagels are what really shines here. TRAVEL: ~20mins. Bagel was steaming hot when I got it, but had cooled almost completely by the time I got home. Texture and toastiness were not hurt by the drive. Get a & a & eat local!

The people taking your order are very kind. And everyone there is welcoming. But every single time I order a 'Meat and Cheese' I end up getting a Cheese and Egg Bagel. This has happened multiple times, even when the ticket says Meat and Cheese. I would love to come back but due to the continued wrong orders I don't think I will.

Egg, Meat, and Cheese (Taylor ham). This bagel was toasted perfectly!

This is my favorite bagel place in Wilmington. I love ordering a bagel sandwich, a cup of coffee from next door, and enjoying my breakfast on the beach. It gets packed, so I recommend placing your order online.

It was great weather this night, so we opted for an outside table that was in total shade. Very comfortable. Our server came by for drink orders. We had no appetizers this visit and went right into entrees. We tried the Port City Burger, the Gnocchi with chicken, cilantro lime shrimp quesadillas and the salmon tacos. Everything was delicious. The only complaint I would have is that the Salmon Tacos was a bit small. The dish is two small tacos with a side of tortilla chips. There is no salsa, no pico de gallo, no slaw. I was actually sorry that I didn't get an appetizer. I was still a little hungry after I finished. We didn't want any of the dessert offered this time. Again, everything was great. Service, food, atmosphere, outside patio. Just my dish was a little less in size. I will keep that in mind next time we visit. I'm not sure something like this would be changed on the menu, but I still wanted to voice my opinion. Still a great place with a great menu and service. If the weather is good, opt for the patio. It is really nice sitting out there.

The Chicken & Waffles were the standout. The chicken was crispy on the outside, juicy inside, and paired perfectly with the sweet syrup and smoky bacon. A great balance of sweet and savory flavors. The Spinach & Swiss omelette was light, fluffy, and packed with flavor. The spinach and melted Swiss worked well together, and the home fries were nicely seasoned with peppers and onions. The English muffin was a simple but welcome addition. The bird & Brie sandwich was another winner. The brioche bun was soft and buttery, while the brie added a creamy richness that elevated the sandwich. The arugula brought a fresh peppery bite that kept everything balanced. Overall, the food was fresh, portions were generous, and everything was cooked well. The home fries were crispy and flavorful across all the plates. What a fantastic evening at Dram Yard…read more We were a little concerned we might miss our 5:30 reservation after getting delayed by a seven-car accident on the bridge, but we arrived just a couple of minutes late and it wasn't an issue at all. From the moment we arrived, the experience was relaxed, welcoming, and exactly what we needed. We chose to sit in the beautiful courtyard, and with temperatures in the 70s, sunshine overhead, and a gentle breeze, it couldn't have been a more perfect setting. The outdoor gazebo bar creates a wonderful atmosphere for enjoying a cocktail before dinner, and if the weather isn't cooperating, the indoor dining space is equally inviting. A special thank you to Sarah, whose service was outstanding. She was cheerful, attentive, and genuinely seemed happy to be there. The restaurant wasn't crowded, which made for a peaceful and unhurried dining experience. For drinks, I ordered the Ghost Town, while my wife enjoyed the Venus Flytrap. Both were beautifully prepared and easy to see why they're among the restaurant's popular cocktails. The food was equally impressive. I had the Spaghetti Carbonara, and it was exceptional. The kitchen even accommodated my request for extra freshly cracked black pepper, which took an already excellent dish to another level. My wife ordered the Little Gem Salad with shrimp, and it was fresh, flavorful, and perfectly prepared. We also shared the Tuna Tartare Tostada, which was outstanding--beautiful presentation, fresh tuna, and a great balance of textures and flavors. Adding to the experience was a bottle of Albariño that paired wonderfully with the meal. What stands out most about Dram Yard is its atmosphere. It's the kind of place where you can settle in, slow down, enjoy a handcrafted cocktail, and forget about the stresses of the day. Whether you're looking for a date night, an evening with friends, or simply a quiet place to relax, Dram Yard delivers. Excellent service, creative cocktails, outstanding food, and one of the most relaxing outdoor dining spaces in Wilmington. We'll definitely be back.

The funny part? The kitchen initially sent out the shrimp dish... without the shrimp. We had to ask for them to bring the missing shrimp, which they quickly corrected. I couldn't help but imagine Chef Gordon Ramsay standing in the kitchen shouting, "You served the shrimp dish without any shrimp, you muppet!" That alone was worth a chuckle. We sat at the bar, where service is usually outstanding. This time the bartender was clearly overwhelmed and stretched thin, so things moved a little slower than normal. Even so, everyone remained professional and friendly. Chef Dean Neff has set a very high standard here, and it's easy to understand why Seabird has received so much recognition and James Beard attention over the years.
