After my last visit the price of 2 breakfast sandwiches were almost $20. In my opinion I think price gouging with the egg crisis is happening. I am a sucker for a good bagel sandwich and I was not disappointed at Mr. Bagel Meister. I got The Hangover on a Jalapeño cheddar bagel and it was delicious. The bagel had the soft, crispy and chewy bite that I love and each of the ingredients inside the bagel would have tasted great on their own, but really came together or make a great sandwich. The jalapeño cream cheese had a great tang to it that tied everything together. Inside the restaurant there were a few tables and spots to eat your bagel if you would like, but there is limited seating so on a busy morning it may be difficult to get a place to sit. I am excited to come back and try some of their lunch options because $8.99 for a lunch combo sounds like a great deal to me! read more

I've never eaten here, but I take home a bakers dozen every now and then. Their bagels are good, not actually "New York" style in consistency and taste, but tasty. They run about $1.50 each so be prepared. The staff could be a little friendlier and customer centric. read more

Love this place. While working in the area it has become my go to for a quick take out breakfast. Several unique bagel flavors keep the taste buds entertained while satisfying the palette. They have some great looking sandwiches for lunch but haven't tried those yet. If you are in the area and like a good bagel breakfast sandwich, you have to stop in as you won't be disappointed. Best. Bagel. EVER! I love bagels, especially toasted with BUTTER (yummmm) but I love a stacked bagel sandwich too... the bagels here are HEAVEN. I've never (sorry) been a fan of 'dense' chewy bagels....I like them a little lighter. These bagels are downright freaking FLUFFY yet still 'substantial'! We found it by total accident on the way to a convention in Myrtle. I found myself craving another dose on the way home, but they close around 2 or 3pm (pretty typical for a bagel joint). When we first arrived here we were surprised on how good the beagles tasted.It's a great atmosphere with friendly people running the place. There is usually a place to sit, although there is one thing that needs to be addressed. A lot of times the coffee has run out , and no one knows until you mention that there is none, then someone will come over and start a new pot.The bathrooms are kept up and the place is clean. Uhhhh... can you say delicious!? YES I can!! This was my first time here and I have only heard great things about it. The service was great, quick and positive attitudes all around. The staff were masked, gloves being used, and tables socially distanced out. The menu they had was so full I didn't know what to choose from but of course we chose the one closest to our favorite at Seaside Bagel, the Cesar and of course along with some tots. Highly recommend the Cesar and the tots! Only change I'd make is adding one more piece of meat. The helpings were massive so you better come hungry, and it was hard to resist ordering some of the pastries they had so I will have to come back to get one of those very soon. Can't say I blame you. I stopped in today to grab a bagel sandwich to bring home to share with hubby for lunch. I was immediately impressed with the various flavors and creative combinations, many of which I've never seen before much less tasted. I reluctantly settled on the multi-grain bagel because I didn't want the bagel flavors to potentially overpower the 'Carolina Beach' sandwich of turkey and cheese. Let me tell you my friend, this was no ordinary turkey and cheese sandwich. The cheese was perfectly melted, and it was clear to me the turkey was top of the line quality and super fresh. And the wonderfully warm bagel was by far one of the best I've ever had. I also opted for the potato salad on the side, and wow! Can eating potato salad make you feel like you died and went to heaven? Before you think I was 100% happy, I will tell you that I was NOT! Why you might ask? The owners need to learn something about customer service and satisfaction. They took off on a Sunday (Busiest day) and left a few "hopeless" folks running the store without a clue. They were not only about totally out of bagels, but it was 30 minutes for an egg sandwich, being "craft made' one at a time, while the other half of the kitchen staff paraded around without a clue. An absolute joke at Panera is a much better alternative They have lost 4 formerly good customers forever and if they keep this up, they will not be long for staying in business. read more

This was my first trip to Mr. Bagel Meister and I can't say enough about how great it is. I ordered the bagel with lox on a toasted everything bagel. The lox tasted fresh and the bagel was perfectly toasted. My husband ordered the Kure lunch sandwich and enjoyed the fresh cut meat that came on it. Overall good experience, good price. Do not go to this terrible unsanitary store. The owner yells and insults customers.. The cashier handles money and food at the same time. When I remarked "Please don't do that, it's poor sanitary protocol. Then the owner stormed out of the back yelling and berating me.
