Long time support of this establishment. 6 weeks ago I talked to the owners about catering a breakfast for 70 people (70 sandwiches and 70 rolls). They took on the challenge. Anyone who has been to their shop knows it is tiny. The family took on the challenge and delivered 70 hot sandwiches and rolls 20 minutes from their location. A sandwich from the 70 tasted exactly the same as when I go there for a sandwich on my day off. My boss was so impressed she ask me if they could do another catering gig in the near future. First time in today. Found on "add a stop" (Apple Maps) en route to my next facility and felt my inner Betty White (RIP) emerging and needed to stop for a bite to eat; biscuits are always good!. As I walked in, I was not only greeted with the amazing smell, (of what I imagine to be their cinnamon rolls, or something else delicious and sweet); but I was also greeted by Annika and her lovely presence! She got me a sample of their HOMEMADE gravy, (NOT FROM A CAN), to sample, as I was torn between the biscuits and gravy and a breakfast sandwich -she was more than happy to get me a little sample to try, and probably just as happy to hear my reaction to my surprise of it NOT being made by simply opening up a can, warming it up and saying it's gravy!! This place is easily 6 out of 5 stars for the delicious food, friendly service, and overall just an awesome experience! Stopped in with my girlfriend for breakfast this morning to try it out having seen all of the positive reviews on Google and Yelp, and we were certainly not disappointed. We tried the biscuits and gravy, the bacon/egg/cheese biscuit sandwich, and a cinnamon roll. First off, the gravy was amazing, with an ideal amount of pepper, creaminess, and savory sausage. Poured over a perfectly crafted biscuit, it really was to die for and we were both very impressed by the flavors! The sandwich was super tasty as well, and paired well with some of the leftover gravy to really put it over the top. Words simply cannot describe how truly delicious the cinnamon roll was. Hands down the best I have ever had without a single trace of dryness throughout. The brown sugar butter that caramelized on top during baking paired so well with the softness of the roll, and the cream cheese glaze provided with it was divine. All in all, we really cannot say enough good things about our experience and the tasty food we tried here! This is an awesome hole in the wall breakfast joint with a great story behind the beginning. Got to interact with a couple of the owners during our stop in this morning and both had a very welcoming energy to a couple first time patrons. WOW! What a treat to patronize such an ambitious business that is so well run. It all started with extremely friendly, welcoming and thoughtful service at the counter. It took about 10 minutes to fulfill my order and the expectation was set that it would take that long (no complaints on such a short wait for a quality product). This is primarily a to go kind of place with some seating out on the sidewalk. It isn't a bad setup if you can score a seat but all tables were spoken for when I was there. I opted for a biscuit sandwich. It was freshly baked, the fresh eggs were cooked well and bacon was delicious. If I opt for this sandwich again, surprisingly, I'd consider ordering extra bacon. And I am not a biscuit or bacon lover but this sandwich made me think differently. They are continuously baking the biscuits fresh. The menu is compact which likely enables them to execute it at a top tier level. My only area for improvement is to better season the eggs. There wasn't enough salt but the sandwich overall was still quite delectable. The biscuit stayed together which made it easy to consume with grace. I don't eat breakfast out of the house much except for breakfast burritos and bagels occasionally but I would go out of my way to return to here. This is such a neat area of Wheat Ridge with some very stellar small businesses to support. The prices are reasonable, especially given the quality of the product. What a happy place making dynamite breakfast fresh to order! It is so refreshing to visit a business like this that set the tone for the rest of my day. We had read about this spot in the local paper & have been wanting to support the family owned business, with a heartwarming backstory. Finally had the time to make their Sunday hours (closes at noon). Their cinnamon bun is phenomenal! It's gooey in the center with a cinnamon glaze, and served with a warmed side of cream cheese frosting. It's big too!! Highly impressed. I have a love/hate relationship with biscuits and gravy. When you first walk into Mr. Biscuits, you might be skeptical or unsure. There is no display case, no country-style decorations... just a few laminated items on the wall (read the article for their story!) and some mugs for sale. But trust me when I say: these kids are the real deal. Young siblings who are starting a bakery? Sure, I'll support. But when you taste the food you'll realize it's no charity case. We were staying in the Airbnb upstairs so we had everything. First day, we ordered (too many!) cinnamon buns. Sooo yummy. Pro tip: they're huge and can probably be split. Next day we came back for biscuits and coffee. Took less than 15 min to bake and pack up. They have lots of different options, but we got plain. Everyone LOVED them. Flaky. Not too buttery. And the jam and honey butter were a perfect complement. Really, really quality and top notch! And then, for a curve ball, I asked if they could make me a "smash cake" for my 1 yr old's birthday! The response: "Hmm, we don't typically do cakes... but sure! I can do that! And a separate one for the adults?" She had to go out to get ingredients specially for the occasion - incredibly accommodating... and lemme just tell you - AMAZING. Sounds too gushy, but the cake was simple but awesome. Not too sweet, not heavy, I could have finished the whole thing myself. You could taste the real cocoa and sea salt in the icing. Also, oddly enough, I'm usually really sensitive to butter/dairy, but I had no issues all weekend. Went down smooth. :) If you have a chance to check them out, do! The breakfast sandwiches are super tasty, the biscuit is nice and buttery. The eggs are fluffy and the bacon is crispy. My husband had the sausage sandwich and really enjoyed it.
