When we got there, our wings and fries were sitting at the counter waiting, and apparently they had them done long before 30 minutes. The wings and the fries were a little on the soggy side . The wings were really expensive and really not that great. Maybe if they had been hot and still had some moisture they might have been ok. This is a great dive bar (in a good way) cozy, home town vibes. I was greeted and welcomed right away, food came out fast and fresh. I was surprised at home much I liked a chicken Cesar salad from a place with plastic fork. Kids food was kid approved and the chicken strips were real chicken tender loins and very big. Way more than I expected! It's a sports bar feel but lots of families at the tables. Lots of seating so we didnt need to wait like other restaurants in the area. Service was very present and friendly. We ordered wings and burgers and kids meals. Portions were great. Food was really good. Tap Beer was cold and soda drinks came in 32 ounce cups. Had to come back and add a review. I have previously given chubbys a better rating. Food is still the same, good bar food. The part that brings the ratings down is that they can't get a table worth of food out at the same time. 3 top and we received 1 order that sat and got cold for 45 minutes until 1 more order came out. The final order was 10 minutes later meaning the first order sat for 55 minutes. It's unacceptable and no explanation was offered. This is not the only place that does this though. Definitely the place for groups n watching sporting events. Look on website or call for nightly events, for example, music bingo. The staff is delightful. The chicken bites are bite size n tender. Being loaded, I thought it would be more fries, cheese n bacon. The portion was enough but could've been an extra layer for good measure. Yum!! We love this place for wings- they have so many good flavors and the service is always good. I'm not too sure why it has such low stars but we really enjoy it every time we're here. It's divey but always clean and the service is quick. My pics aren't that good today because I forgot and took a picture midway the spicy blue cheese wings are SOOOO good- they're my favorite. Both food and service were good. All the TV's were on one game, even though advertised as a sports bar. When asked to put a hockey game on, I was told no, mostly because the manager was a Miami fan. We have been by here numerous times and finally stopped in for lunch. We were greeted after entering and told we could sit where we wanted. Our server came over within a couple of minutes and got our drink orders. She was very pleasant and checked on us regularly. All of the servers seemed to stay busy and checking on their tables. I had 10 traditional wings (medium) and some tots and my wife had the grilled chicken wrap with mixed vegetables. She changed the American cheese to Swiss and stated it was delicious. The veggies were just ok but Mr Chubby's probably isn't known for their vegetables. My wings were cooked excellent in my opinion because they had just the right amount of crispiness which I prefer. The medium sauce had a good heat to it and the tots were also cooked with the right amount of crisp without being overcooked. Our server asked if we enjoyed our food and thanked us for coming in as we paid. There is a bar area, a game area and lots of televisions inside. It appears to be a good location to watch sports. Not a bad spot for wings and beer. Came for the first time on a Monday night for their special, 75 cent wings and 2 for 1 beers. We ended up getting 50 wings in Mango Habanero, Chubby Style, ($1extra per order of 10) Nashville Hot and Caribbean Jerk. By far, the Chubby style was everyone's favorite as well as my own. They are advertised as grilled. But they are fried before/ after as the flavor and texture is crispy. The seasoning is perfect and not spicy. We originally had 40 wings but added the extra 10 Nashville Hot when I spotted them on the Specials menu. It boasts they are spicy and do not need additional spice/ heat added. However, these were my least favorite as they were not spicy at all and quite frankly, we didn't miss out had i not seen it offered. We did order in excess because we planned to take some home abd we each had a packed to go box. My son doesn't do traditional wings so he went with nachos. I order food for my staff every Saturday. I spread what I order around the area. Today I placed a $100+ order. I get back to work the order is wrong.
