Been living in the area for three years and finally decided to give this place a try. Service was great and the food came out hot and fresh. We got the cheese curds which where surprisingly really good, the light crunch breading and gooey cheese was delightful. We also got an order of the mild buffalo bone in wings, the boneless cajun wings, and waffle fries. The wings came out fresh, crispy, and Juicy and the sauce flavors were great! Soaking up the sauce with the crispy waffle fries, is the pro move as they were delicious. My only knock is that, the place is a bit dated and not the typical crowed you would see at a popular sports bar. This time I ordered a little different than my usual. I ordered 5 wings lemon pepper hot - they were a little under sauced and not hot at all. I ordered 5 wings hot honey - my first time trying this flavor, they were good but just a bit sweet for me, the heat was more intense than the other wings so I appreciated that. Shoutout to our local community heroes! The staff is attentive and personable. The atmosphere is comfortable, family friendly, and welcoming especially on game day. We were able to watch 3 of our teams play at the same time. We began our foodie journey with the white cheddar cheese curds... crunchy crispy outside and an indulgent ooey gooey stretchy inside. The cheese pull was on point! We enjoyed every bite! They are served with marina, but I didn't even need it. We had refreshing and crisp iced tea. It was perfect for a quick reset from the cheese curds richness. My wings order was lemon pepper dry rub my favorite, all flats (extra charge) nice and citrusy. And hubby ordered the Smokey Carolina wings which were very flavorful and I actually tasted the smoked flavor.... Just messy enough for that finger licking goodness. I had to order onion rings! I was pleasantly impressed with the light, crispy batter covering the whole ringed onions! Very crunchtastic! The ice tea was so nice to refresh and return to the yummies! We enjoyed watching some football and interacting with the sounds of cheering patrons of all ages! Lots of jerseys and fan gear on the wall and on the patrons. To finish off the meal, we ordered pretzels with beer cheese. The pretzel resembled a croissant to me, but it had the perfect toasted outer layer and the airy, fluffy texture inside. Yum! I asked for the server for a little container of the funnel cake drizzle so that I could dunk some of the hot pretzels into. I'm still at a 4 star, but have returned and still feel about the same. I did try some new flavors however and found that the FL/GA Lime was quite tasty and the Garlic Parmesan was good as well. I'm still a fan of the famous Gold Rush flavor....but wanted to step outside the box. We've been going to this spot for the 10 years we have lived in the neighborhood. Food and service has always been great. A couple of weeks ago my wife and I won a $10 trivia nation gift certificate that said good at San Pablo after April 1. We went to trivia and were told the GC had expired. We hadn't had it for a month and tried to use it on May 7. It's only $10, but there should be an expiration date on the GC as opposed to you can't use until date. This is more an issue of poor management/ownership than anything to do with the people making/serving the food. I felt bad for our waitress having to tell us that it had "expired." You can get real crazy and try the super amazing mango habanero wings. There's a solid range of heat levels so you can really torture yourself on the Scoville scale if you want to. The wings are cooked well (extra crispy if you want). An average amount of chicken. An average amount of sauce (I love mine extra goopy). Some good ranch and blue cheese and fresh celery (not the limp sad kind the cheap places provide). But if you are like me and have a very particular preference about your classic buffalo sauce, this place doesn't quite fit the bill. Their sauce if vinegary. Sure, it's potent. But I like it to be complex and slightly sweet. On the other hand, they have a full bar and all the TVs to keep up with your fave sports, so really having a bad time here would be tough. I came in here to finished watching sports event and grab some wings. I have ordered from Dicks in the past but most locations around me had closed now I know why. I ordered 10 wings all drums and a beer. The bartender stated to her friend as she sat down near where they put the orders in that she was tired and then put her head down. My order come out not all drums and wings small as my pinky. I stated that I ordered all drums she proceeded to take them back to the kitchen and said don't worry they will be out in a sec. When they returned it wasn't a fresh batch half of them were scolding hot the other half were stone cold. They must remove the flats and gave me an order cooked five more drums. I complain to the server and she stated that they cooked a brand-new order. I politely stated OK even know I knew better because I was sure the next order I sent there would have come back with an extra something I didn't want. And on top of everything else I didn't get any ranch or celery. Through the years I've been to many different locations of Dick's Wings, but I must say that of all the locations I've had, this one turned out to be the best. My girlfriend and I both love the Squashini. And when we order wings, we order all flats. We just prefer them to the drum-stick variety. We also like to have them grilled, and the sauce to be dried rather than wet. So our order is always very specialized, and it is usually a toss up as to whether they come out as we like. We ordered 30 wings, all flats, half of them with the "Florida Girl" flavoring, and half with the "Smokey gold" - grilled, and dry. The wings came out perfectly, and were by far the best we've had. The Squashini came out really good also. The service was fairly quick, I spite of our special requests, and we enjoyed a couple of Caronas while we waited. I have eaten here for the past 7-8 years as it is one of my family's favorite place to eat wings. They all love it. We have ordered just about everything on their menu at least once. The wings which are probably the best thing here. They have close to two dozen different flavors that you can mix and match to flavor your wings (or buffalo tenders) . All the flavors are excellent and due to the large selection there is something for everyone! The wings are big and juicy and 10-15 wings should be MORE than enough for anyone. I normally order a hamburger , they have a generous portion of ground beef, although they are normally undercooked. ( I like hamburgers medium-rare but if I ask for it that way at this location they come out VERY rare) They also offer many different kinds of burgers such as the mozzarella burger, chill burger, or BBQ burger (my fave) The only problem I have with Dick's is that the food is very greasy, too the point where you can feel sick afterwards. Keep in mind that this is coming from someone who is not normally affected by greasy foods. Besides that , I would highly recommend this location if you want good wings, even though they might be. When we arrived, there were not many patrons. By the time we had finished, the place was packed. We waited almost twenty minutes after obviously being finished. I finally walked up to the bar and informed our waitress we were ready not go. She was very apologetic and allowed me to pay. It was not her fault. She never slowed down. Was disappointed that we had to ask for wings to be warmed up again. Also unable to split wings sauces for 15 wings- we could only do 2 flavors for 20 or order separate 5 pieces for each sauce.
