I have been frequenting this place for years as it's near my home however I am done with their wings. Sitting at the bar, I put in 2 orders to go and had a cocktail ($8.50) while waiting. I received my wings and they were small, I mean a baby chicken, and hard as a brick, dried out. It's as they were precooked and taken out of a freezer and sopped in sauce. While the sauce was good the wings were inedible. The bar stools are wooden with no padding at all, paint peeling all off. The women behind the bar were more interested in flirting with the clientele than serving customers, after getting my orders I waited another 10 minutes to get my check. I was in a wing mood so I decided to give Dick's wings a shot. I didn't remember having them before and honestly I can't say that I would have them again. I thought I'd try 10 wings in the Florida Girl sauce (honey, sesame, key lime), extra wet. I had them ordered through my delivery app and it arrived on time. So many flavors mixed together in this yummy concoction, it's a must try sauce! The boneless wings were large white meat chunks which were juicy and coated perfectly. 20 piece traditional wings (10 Pirate sauce and 10 Honey Hot) - these wings were great! They were on the smaller side so if you like jumbo wings, you may not be a fan. Luckily, we both like smaller wings since they get extra crispy. The honey hot was delicious! Perfect balance of sweet and heat. I also really liked the pirate sauce. It was creamy, spicy and very tasty! I loved the variety of sauces. Walked in on trivia night.. that was our first mistake. Ordered boneless wings but got served boned-in. Tried to order the FL/GA sauce and they were out of it? How? Is it not made in-house? This was a night of highs and lows. It started low and then spiked throughout but ultimately never got past an "eh, it was ok"... So the place is kind of dinghy but I think it might be what they are going for...it's short of the cooler, "divey"... It was pouring outside so I ran inside, it was fairly empty. I looked down at my paper looking for my lucky numbers and noticed something strange...same cards in both papers. I asked me friend to see their paper. Identical. Dick's has a nice little set up. It's in a good location and it's really well laid out restaurant inside with a nice small bar area, plenty of familyland seating, and a small arcade. We visited for our first time, but it won't be our last because I would really like to watch a game at their small bar. We had great service at Dick's. Our server was able to answer all of our questions about the way too big menu that Dick's sports; they have a lot of wing sauce combinations. He did a great job at explaining that and making sure we taken care of during our visit. Now the wings certainly aren't the best. They were actually kind of tiny compared to other places we like to go for wings here in town. And taste wise we ordered a medium heat wing sauce that was pretty hot; and I like spicy. We also had the philly cheesesteak which was ok, but not really that great. The shock was the bill when it came; they are very expensive for what we got. Another disappointment is the presentation of the food, in baskets when at the prices they charge should have come out on plates. We opted for a booth, but that booth was dirty. We were given another booth that was also dirty. We moved to a table and ordered our drinks and food. We did a pitcher of Miller for $10, a twenty piece with steak fries and waffle fries, and a ten piece with loaded fries. We did our favorite flavors of mango habanero with balls of fire, pirate sauce swamp fever, and GA girl. We literally ate everything, and the server was great. Only bad thing was I went to the ladies room and it wasn't the cleanest, and there was no soap. My fiancé had to guard the men's restroom as I got soap outta there. That said, the onion rings are hand made in house with a great seasoned coating that reminds me of growing up in New England and getting great onion rings at the roadside clam shacks. Wings are definitely the star, with tons of combinations. Our personal favorite is the Victory Lane, medium heat, and finished on the grill. Basically garlic butter, cajun seasoning, hot sauce and garlic pepper. Yum. Good selection of beers on draft. I'd also recommend the burgers here and ask about the lunch specials which are enough for two people. As a bonus, they have video trivia which a lot of people play. Fun and highly collaborative. Went up there tonight to celebrate a great accomplishment of my 9 year old son. We live around the corner and go there quite often. I have been going there since my oldest was a baby, 14 years ago when they were in the other building. We got there, ordered our food, and it was so loud in there from them blasting the football game and people screaming, that we had to change our order to go. When I got home to feed my kids, the 20 wings that I ordered were actually seven wings and a bunch of stuffed fried mushrooms. The food is almost always good but they seem to have serious issues with making delivery promise times. The last 3 times I've ordered through Grubhub the order is always delayed by 30-40 minutes more than what is promised at check out. Every time I place an order I get a message from the driver saying that the restaurant is taking long to prepare the order & whenever I've called the restaurant they would confirm the food was not ready and have an attitude about it.
