Then after 8 weeks, I got frustrated and called yelling. He then said that there were some issues, he was sorry and he needed more time. It's literally been 10 months since I gave this company my money and I have only received $250 back as a refund with promises that he will refund me piece by piece until I receive all of my money. In the past few months, all he paid back was $250. It's crazy. I was scammed and it's sad that I was dumb enough to believe it. DO NOT BELIEVE THEM no matter how convincing it seems. I threatened to call a lawyer and he told me that I would be waiting even more months if I did that. Ridiculous.

I brought my old Macbook in, they ran diagnostics on it to see if the hard drive was in good shape. Fortunately it is. We were easily able to transfer the data from the old computer to the new one.
