The hours seem limited but the staff is very small. This is a place for repairs, not sales. If something has to be done via proprietary software, the staff is quick to refer one to the dreaded Apple store. We are very glad to have found this resource. read more

DO NOT TAKE YOUR PHONE HERE TO GET REPAIRED. I took my iPhone here a week ago, as it was smashed to smithereens. The whole ordeal cost me about $90 and tooK an hour, which wouldn't be a bad deal if the repairs lasted longer than a week. A few days after I got the screen fixed, the touch screen became unresponsive. I did not drop it; I did not smash it; the phone just stopped working altogether. I take it in to get looked at, and the guy working the desk told me that the warranty does not apply to the damage that the phone received (which was NONE AT ALL). So in the end, I dropped $90 and ended up with a phone that was MORE DYSFUNCTIONAL than the phone I brought in to them. I would have had a more productive experience if I set that $90 on fire, as it would have saved myself the hour it took for it to be repaired. I don't know why the issue occurred; perhaps they use cheap, inferior parts. Whatever the case may be, do yourself a favor: take your iPhone to the Apple store. Only then will your phone work for more than a week. read more

Very helpful. Called first over the phone and he thought he could help. Dropped off my Sony DCR-TRV240 camcorder that was not turning on a Wednesday afternoon. He correctly diagnosed the problem when I told him I hadn't used it in months to years -- that it was likely a blown fuse on the board after a large current went through when I plugged it back in for the first time. He said he could have it done the next day. Sure enough, he called the next day, it was ready, working and at the price quoted. Would definitely go back. Of note we also discussed another finicky electronic item I'm having trouble with but we agreed that it was likely better to let it limp along and just buy a new one when it dies rather than have him fix it -- appreciate the honesty! read more

Had a repair there which only lasted a week. The part repaired stopped functioning, so I brought it back, and was told it was no longer under warranty and I'd have to pay for a new part. By my standards, repairs should last longer than 7 days. And how are faulty parts the responsibility of the costumer? Really really disappointing, and was met with snarkiness and rude customer service representatives. I'd rather have a cracked screen than a screen that is totally unresponsive. And I'd rather have a cracked screen than deal with people who offer such rude and disrespectful customer service. I won't ever step foot there again and if you are smart, you won't either. read more

BEWARE! The man who greets you is a snake to say the least. He preys on the vulnerable (seniors, disabled, etc.) who aren't technically savvy. I went there several times believing every word he said about my pc, only to find out $300+ later there in fact was NOTHING wrong...Updates just had to be installed. In fact, the last time he "fixed" it, when I tried to use it the very next day my pc was acting up again so I called & told him. I knew then what he was after his response, comparing my computer to a car & him to a mechanic! "When you take your car to the mechanic & leave, then get a flat tire...is it the mechanic's fault"? This snake just saw $$ when he saw me period. I hope for his sake, he realizes what goes around comes around. read more

Fixed my old-timey speakers so they work like new. Service was not cheap but it was knowledgeable, professional, courteous, and prompt.

Came in with a hardware issue. He had to order a new board. This piece plus installation cost $88. Worked like new for less than a week. Since then, my phone keeps showing that the "USB connector" is disconnecting and reconnecting when it is not plugged in and is draining my battery. Will update once I go back for to store to get it "repaired" again. read more

I bought a tablet off of eBay that did not seem to charge properly, and I asked the folks at Pixel to see if it was truly broken, or if I was missing something. In under an hour they confirmed that the tablet was broken, how much the replacement part would cost to source and install, and gave me a 2- to 3-day timeframe in order for them to get the part in. I wound up returning the tablet instead of fixing it, and despite my offering to pay for Pixel's time to diagnose the issue, they kindly refused. I brought in a ViewSonic home theater projector to get the bulb replaced. He told me it would take a week. It took a little over 3 weeks. Then, after charging me $180 - the bulb blew out again within a week. Unfortunately, I did not get around to confronting him about this until after the "warranty" period and he told me that he is not willing to take care of it. Very peculiar decision for a small/local business. Poor craftsmanship - Delayed timeline - Horrible customer service. Avoid this place. read more

Pixel fixed an antique sewing machine that belonged to my grandmother...it took 20 minutes while I sat there. Estimate was reasonable and accurate. I'm using it to alter some clothes right now...so when they say electronics repair..think more than just phones! Great service! read more
