BEWARE: Classic illegal "Bait & Switch". I just moved into a new house last year and he claimed that the dryer duct was too dirty to be cleaned at the Groupon price would require extra charges. I asked him to show me proof why he thinks that, and of course how he could not show me anything. He doesn't even carry a $50 Borescope/Endoscope snake camera that anyone can easily pick up on Amazon. And he wanted to charge hundreds more to do the ducts LOL I told him to get out of my house. I picked up a boroscope and dryer vent cleaner on Amazon. The camera showed was already super super clean. I will be filing a complaint against his license. Isaac was such a blessing to me. I've lived in my house for 26 years. Sadly I have never had my vents cleaned. Isaac discovered my vent had come loose and been leaking for a long while. However more recently it had broken open and was totally venting into the space between my first and second floor. BEWARE THE SCAM!!! THIS IS A SCAM!!! SHAME ON GROUPON AND MR.DUCT! I purchased the Groupon voucher for ducts to be cleaned and immediately called and made an appointment. The day of the appointment I had to call to confirm they were coming. Once they showed up, it was the same nonsense as the other reviewer. He immediately started fishing for information. Opened the vent and proceeded to tell me how it was too dirty and he could not clean the vents. The fact that the only reason he was there was to clean the ducts, he proceeded to tell me why he couldn't clean it. My ducts were cleaned 2 years ago and I just wanted a touch up. He didn't know they were cleaned already and the amount of buildup he suggested was nonexistent. He literally looked in 1 vent and knew the entire house needed more than the voucher was worth. I purchased a groupon for duct cleaning, Isaac was very professional explained the groupon service purchased would not be completed and that issuing a full refund would be the best option unless we would pay over $500 for a full AC cleaning. I was skeptical as he did not look at the units or even in the vents so therefore I declined and opted for the full refund of groupon he offered. When he left I had very positive experience with Mr. Duct and had we decided to do the services recommended would have hired them. I was called the next day accused of writing a poor review online, the employee who called proceeded to yell at me and repeatedly accuse me of a poor review and being disrespectful as I declined writing said review and requested a refund as Isaac had agreed to. I was given the ultimatum of having another person come do the groupon service or apply the amount to the service I was told was necessary. As a consumer I hung up as I don't appreciate being yelled at and the disrespect conveyed. The employee proceeded to TEXT me. 100% recommend Mr. Duct! I used a different company to clean my air ducts and dryer vent. Needless to say they left and my dryer kept getting an error code indicating the vent was still blocked. I called the previous company back and it took them 2 weeks to come back out to check the dryer vent again. They came back and said all was clear not block etc. It took me 4 phone calls just to get an invoice from them. Complete nightmare. I called Issac and he came to my home the next morning. My dryer vent was still 100% blocked! Issac was easily able to take care of the blockage and my dryer is now working beautifully. Reality: Isaac advertises on Groupon to basically hook you for $400 services. You buy the voucher that states one A/C and one dryer vent system cleaning. Made appt and he showed up as agreed. Very friendly indeed; however, don't let that distract you from the fact that his immediate question is how long have you lived in this home and interrogation PRIOR to inspecting unit. Then says that you're going to need a more comprehensive package because it's dirty up there. For an additional $400-$35 (voucher) he can get it done. FAIL #1 When you politely decline and ask to stick to the specified purchased voucher, he became passive aggressive, defensive and REFUSED. Never looked at a single vent, never inspected the dryer vent because "it will be clogged". Then proceeded to lecture me on how dirty vents are the #1 fire sources in homes and how I need to do the right thing for my children and get it done or else I was filing them. FAIL #2 So you're not going to perform the purchased services? His answer "no, not worth my time for $35. You can think about it and I'll come back and do the job as he wrote his estimate............."or call Groupon and ask for a refund". "I have nothing to do with them so I don't know if they will give you your money back". FAIL #3 Said our goodbyes and I proceeded to call my CC company, open a claim and got my money back. This guy walks into my home, feels the top of my dryer that had been running all morning, says "it's hot" so my dryer duct cleaning wouldn't be covered by a Groupon because it's clogged. It was not hot at all, and he didn't even look at the duct. He also said that because my A/C vents were dirty, that the previous owners had never had the dryer vent cleaned. Warning: If your A/C vent has a hint of dust, he will not honor the Groupon. I don't know how this company is still in business. This was the worst experience with a company that i've ever had, and am very disappointed that my time was wasted. THIS COMPANY IS A SCAM! Fantastic experience with Isaac! Highly recommend to anyone with dirty ducts. First, I was late to my appointment and Isaac was kind enough to wait. He was very patient and I appreciate that characteristic when it comes to tardiness. So right off the bat, I had a good feeling. I had my Groupon ready to go for him. I have lived in my place for three years and I'm pretty sure even the people before me never cleaned their ducts, so they were filthy! Isaac was very honest and said he would honor the Groupon, but it would basically do no good. He recommended a different service that was a little more expensive, but assured it would be worth it. My house had been emanating a rancid, sewer-like smell for some time and I had brought in two different plumbers, someone to inspect for gas leaks, a HVAC serviceman, and I even had the city come inspect the city sewer line leading into my property. No one could find the source, nor did they even have the slightest idea of what it could be. That is until I had the luck of discovering Isaac and his services. I first found out about Isaac's services through the Groupon app. He is offering a very reasonable, fair price for his services on there. When I contacted him, he was incredibly friendly and was able to come by and inspect the house promptly. During his initial consultation, he almost immediately was able to source the problem(My A/C was not draining properly and was leaking water under my house). He was an absolute miracle! He did an immaculate job on the ducts, and he drained the water! No more Smell! Plus the airflow in the entire house is noticeably better and feels fresher. Thank you thank you thank you! In regards to his Groupon offer: His offer is very generous, but if you need a deep cleaning on your air ducts(which mine certainly did) don't expect to receive the discount, which seems very fair and, frankly, self evident. We had a similar situation as the other Groupon buyers. We scheduled an appointment 2 weeks in advance. We waited for them to show and they never did so I called and they claimed that they had called several times and left messages, but that never happened. We checked all our call histories and we had no messages. They rescheduled and came out this time. The Groupon was for cleaning the air ducts of one AC unit and Dryer Vent. They didn't do anything to the AC and said we had to pay some outrageous amount if we wanted it cleaned. Then charged us $157 to clean the dryer vent. They left a huge mess of lint everywhere that we had to clean up. It is quite clear that they have no intention to honor the $35 and plan to charge more, no matter what your vents are like. We received a call due to the bad review my wife did on Groupon and they were not happy with the review and wanted us to remove it. He claimed the tech was 60 years old (not sure what that mattered) and that they'd come back out at a discount (up to 25%) to finish the work we originally paid for?! Beware the Groupon Scam I bought a Groupon ($35 for a $129 Air Duct Cleaning). I called the company to make an appointment and asked how long it would take to clean the ducts. The person told me "it's not an air duct cleaning -- we vacuum the vents". I told him that I can easily vacuum the vents myself; I wanted someone to clean out the insides of the ducts. He said "this Groupon isn't for a duct cleaning." I explained the "title" of the Groupon and he said "we can do that but it costs extra". This is a SCAM. Beware! read more

I bought a groupon which was my mistake. I thought maybe people were exaggerating this guy upselling them to actually do the work but nope, that's exactly what happened. Dude walked into my house and immediately started telling me that he couldn't do the job for the price paid on groupon. He demanded another $300 to do the job and he refused to refund the groupon. Which I refused and said I would take it up with groupon to get the refund. Then he knocked it down to another $100, in addition to the money as I paid on groupon. Considering I was having some major allergy issues, I just went ahead with it. This is where my regret really kicks in. The guy used a shop vac with a long hose. That's it. I paid $300 for a man to shop vac my vents and then spray some sort of scent in there. Save yourself the time, money, and hassle. Buy a really long hose for $30 on Amazon and do it yourself for cheaper. Plus, you won't have to listen to his political rants and his thoughts on animals. You also will know that if your shop vac bangs into your baseboards and walls, causing a couple of small dents, that it's your own fault. Very friendly, I paid extra on top of the $35 groupon but they explained clearly what the charges are for and showed me what's needed, I feel like I got a very good value after checking what's other companies charging I still got a large discount. Issac did a fantastic job cleaning both of my duct systems. He was able to get me squeezed in last minute. He arrived on time and finished a little earlier than his estimated completion time. He proceeded to scare me with stories of horrible house fires in order to convince me to spend all the extra money. The tech didn't clean my AC ducts at all, charged me an extra $60 for the dryer vent and then spent a total of 10 minutes cleaning my dryer vent. He left lint all over my laundry room floor and tracked it all through my house even after I asked him to be careful. If I could give this company zero stars I would!!!! read more

Purchased a Groupon for Mr Duct Cleaning as a gift for a couple who purchased their first home. An appointment was made they took off from work that day and Mr Duct never showed up not even a call. Several calls were made by the couple and myself and we left messages. Not one was returned. After reading some of the reviews found out they do not even service groupon unless you have major work performed with them. What a scam. Sorry for your business. I bought a Groupon, knowing it probably wouldn't cover what I needed since we've been in our house since it was built in 2001. However, I figured it was a good place to start and it would get me to finally do it. Isaac called ahead of time and said he would be at my house in 30 min and he was on time, on the dot. He did tell us our ducts needed more attention than what the Groupon covered (which I was expecting). He deducted the price by the amount of the Groupon and we ended up paying $360. I think the best thing about this initial cleaning is that now I can have Isaac come yearly for only $49. If we sell our house I think this is a big plus. Wonderful service! . Our landlords never did any Maintainence which led to our AC unit flooding our apartment. Our landlords bought the groupon and Issac did an expecting and explained his recommendations. We had an issue with mold in our vents and our dryer was extremely clogged. Issac came to our house special on a Sunday to get everything cleared and cleaned as quickly as possible for us. He was very efficient, quick and explained everything to us. I would give this company zero stars if I could. We purchased Air Duct Cleaning for 1 A/C System and 1 Dryer Vent System for $35 from Tucson Deals. We made an appointment for today, and they were supposed to arrive between 11:00 am and 1:00 pm. They arrived at 9:30. To their credit, they did call 15 minutes ahead of time to give us a heads-up, but WE were accommodating to THEM. Once at the house, my boyfriend was told that the dryer vent was "clogged" and that it would cost $120... and that the ac vent would cost even more. This was all supposedly in the fine print of the deal we purchased. Upon looking at the email and voucher we received, this was NOT in fact disclosed in any fine print, which my boyfriend pointed out to the worker who was at our house. Upon arguing with my boyfriend on the matter, he was asked to leave our home. I called the owner later to complain, and was met with the same unprofessional rude attitude, and still given no explanation as to where this supposed "fine print" is listed. Total lack of courtesy, professionalism, and customer service- I do not recommend. Waste of time and money. read more
