This was a real disappointment, and I have to recommend against using this business. It was particularly disappointing because most of the reviews here were positive, but that was not my experience at all. First and worst, although I made an appointment for 10:00 a.m., dropped my car off 15 minutes early, and agreed to wait until 3:00 p.m. to pick it up, it was not ready when I got there. Most important: it was not dry inside, a fact I did not realize until the next day, a Sunday (when they are closed). The cleaners put my auto mats in place while I waited, and while it is my fault for not checking, I relied upon them to ensure they were dry. They were not, as a result, when I got in my car the next day, it stank of musty badness. When I picked the mats up, they were completely wet underneath, wet above, and the carpet underneath was wet. I drove around all day to air it out, but it still stank of must. I went in on Monday to see what they could do, if anything, but they were closed because of bad weather and couldn't be reached on the phone. That was today. Today, also, my car was picked up to be transported out of the state, as I am relocating -- which is why I had the interior detailed in the first place. So, now my car is driving cross country, still smelling musty. Very bad news for me. Aside from that, the detailing was mediocre at best, and I paid full price, no discount. There were spots on the dash that I could remove with my fingernail. There was dust in the corners under the doors. There were pieces of paper underneath the seats that could and should have been easily removed. Also, after I drove away, I realized my IPhone charger, which had been plugged into the lighter, was missing. I came back about 1/2 hour later, and one of the cleaners immediately brought it to me, which is both good and bad. Good, because they had it. Bad, because they hadn't bothered to call me to tell me they had it, and because they left it out in the first place. Additionally, I requested that they remove a sticker on the back of my car. After waiting 15-20 minutes for them to rush around, finishing my car (5 hours after I dropped it off), one of the cleaners handed me the keys, thanked me, and ran off to the next car, so I didn't get a chance to do a full inspection. After I got the car home, I realized they had not removed the sticker that I specifically requested they do. I did it myself and it took about 5 minutes with my fingernail and a magic sponge. As a positive, they did a good job getting some dog hair out of the of back area of my car (actually an SUV), so that was good. Also, they were polite and very nice, no attitude or anything like that. Other than that, the rest of the detailing was very low quality, and, like I said, I can't recommend this service. Very big disappointment. I don't like giving bad reviews, and typically, if I have mediocre service, I just won't review at all. But, the wet floor mats and the musty smell were too much for me - they left the car in a worse condition than when I brought it in. Sorry, but the truth is the truth. Clearly no organization here. I dropped my car off and was told it would be ready in 45 minutes. I thought to myself great I'll run some errands. I come back 35 minutes later and my car was still parked down below. There were 2 cars that arrived after me that were being cleaned and my car had yet to be touched. I asked the attendant what the deal was and he said he would get to mine next. Well next isn't good enough as I have already wasted 45 minutes of my day and I'm on a pretty tight schedule today as he was made aware. first off, if you have one price in print you need to stick with that. more about that later. this is a mixed review. i have gone to eco wash about 4 times. the first 3 times were good experiences. my car was clean when i left and the time estimates were pretty accurate. the last time i went was not so great. first they said they would call me when the car was finished. they said it would be about an hour. after 3 hours and no call i needed to get my car back to pick up my child at school. i walked over to eco wash. the guy i talked to was the same guy i have always dealt with. i asked him why they didn't call me and he said they got busy. true i'm sure, but still if you say you will do something do it. then he told me it was $30. when i first drove up he gave me a price list and $29 was the price i signed up for. since i was already irritated i decided to call him on this. i said, you showed me a price of $29. to which he said with indifference "it's 30". there was no apology. there was no explanation. since then i've been on the fence about returning. and today, about 2 months after this experience, i went to another wash. read more

Good value, they were quick and PRETTY thorough, but attention to detail was lacking. And SO MANY SWIRL MARKS!!!! I made the mistake of bringing my sort-of-new car here and now it's so swirly :( Hopefully I can fix that with some wax and a proper detailing job. So.... I also have mixed reviews of this place. And normally I don't post reviews on Yelp. I brought my car in right when they opened. And I asked for the "Full Interior Detail" for $104 which includes washing the car and cleaning the interior with shampoo. He then told me that the cost would be $125 because my car interior did not have leather and the seats were cloth. Honestly, I don't understand the point of a shampoo interior pricing that does not include the full interior. And I'm not complaining about the $1 difference like the other review I just read. But to give them credit, it does say that prices would be more based on the size and type of vehicle. Next, I told him that I would be back at 2:30pm to pick it up. When i arrived at 2;30 there were about five of them sitting around doing nothing. So I just walked up to my car and throughly inspected it. At first, I wasn't sure if it was washed. But it was. It's hard to keep a clean and dust free look on a black car for more than an hour. A true quality detail on a black car will make the whole car look "wet" and smudge free. Yet, I noticed smudge marks on the exterior by the front, near the doors, etc. Then when I looked inside the car was cleaned very well and shampooed. Yet, it was not ready. The carpets/mats were not in the car and not fully cleaned. So I called him out on the exterior of the car and waited about 15 minutes for them to finish my car. Afterwards, I was satisfied. I just don't see why they waited to finish it when they knew what time I was coming and they had nothing better to do. But they rectified the situation and i walked away happier than when I first arrived. Overall, I will try this place one more time just to give them a chance. I would have to say that you need to throughly inspect the car and then call them out on every little detail so they do it right. Secondly, be careful of timing. I can understand if it was busy i would cut them slack. But they were not busy. Last thing, be careful of pricing! If you have your GrupOn or are looking at the website, make sure you are getting the right type of detail package and remember that THEY COULD RAISE YOUR PRICE. I'll give this place another shot and hopefully give it a better review.. It's "okay" for now considering there are not too many detail spots that do "hand only" car detailing. I had dog hair in my car and they refused to clean it for less than $140 (the cost of a full detailing job). This is after I called ahead and got a quote for $30 for a car with dog hair. Obviously i refused. They wasted an hour of my day. If you have a policy against cleaning cars with dog hair, you should mention it when someone calls and says "I HAVE DOG HAIR IN MY CAR!". read more

I took my wife's car to Mr. Ecowash this last week, and Serkan and the team were wonderful. I was greeted by two nice workers, one of whom took me to the office to chill on the couch while they cleaned the car inside and out. Free wi-fi! After 30 minutes, which is completely reasonable for a hand wash, the car was ready to go. I have no idea why the other reviewers said it took so long, but perhaps my arrival early on a weekday helped. In any event, the car looks wonderful, and my wife says she feels like she's driving a new car. Not bad for $30 in this town. read more

I read up on these guys on Yelp and desperately needed the interior of my car cleaned. I'm talking mango smoothie, yoghurt spills, and other spills in the backseat. I came back and it was like new! Great detailed car wash done by hand. It's in a small lot on Cesar Chavez. Very friendly staff. They take their time with your care and really clean it up. They don't rush it through a machine like many other places. I did their $29 inside and outside wash. Everything was clean with no sticky products all over my dash. It does take about 20-30 minutes but there is a great taco truck on the same lot to kill the time. I'll be back! read more

My 335 looked like it had been to a off road rally when I brought it in. These guys use a special formula to lift all of the dirt of your car so that it doesn't scratch the paint. I have a black car and hate the swirl marks that most car washes leave. These guys did an amazing job the last time and it uses a lot less water than a traditional car wash. Give it a try. My little one looks as good as new after a waterless car wash. read more

I have a Honda Element that I have been using for my dog walking business for over 10 years. I closed my business and decided to sell the car and took it into Mr. Ecowash for detailing. He quoted me a price and I agreed. When I returned at the end of the day, I was amazed at how thoroughly they had cleaned my car. He asked for some extra cash for the job and I gladly gave it to him. There are very few car wash places in the city, and most of them with poor to very poor reviews. So I decided to take the trip out to this place because everyone on here seemed to have good things to say about it. And they were right! I came in with a downright filthy car, and got it back sparkling clean. I was super happy with the job they did--both inside and out. And the whole service was only $30, which I consider pretty reasonable in terms of city pricing. Definitely the best option in SF. It might be a little out of the way, but it's worth the trip! read more

Got their groupon deal for $59 and I'm happy I did! Friendly, and overall awesome detailing service. It's a little bit of a wait, so bring your laptop and get some work done while your car is getting cleaned up. Also, if you check-in wit Yelp, you get 1x free wax spray, pretty cool! After, I was offered to get my car waxed with clay for an extra $120 with a wait of 4hours . I didn't get it but they did such a good job, I might reconsider. Ask for Victor! read more

Great job cleaning the interior, but the exterior was done poorly. Cleaner than when I brought it in, but lots of marks left all over the vehicle. In addition to this, I now have swirls in my paint. I read the reviews ahead of time addressing this and brought to his attention. He reassured me that people who had swirls on their cars had it previously from other places. I should have listened! The owner let me know that he can't use a new sponge cleaner on every wash(unless I have a 300K vehicle) be cautious when deciding to bring a new vehicle here. read more

I made an appointment online for 9:30am on Saturday, and I received a confirmation email about my appointment. I arrived just before 9:30am to a deserted business, and it remained that way until I decided to give up and leave at 9:45am. I now see that other patrons have had a similar experience, and this is unacceptable. I will not be returning. read more

These guys are unbelievable. First of all, they told me it would take 4 hours for them to detail my car. I took the car in and said I needed it at 2pm. They said ok. I called at 1:50 to ask if the car was ready. They said they needed another 40 minutes. I said I'd be there at 2:30 and needed the car to be ready then. I arrive at 2:30 and the car is STILL NOT DONE and it is FAR from done. And, worst of all, they did a crappy job for $TWO HUNDRED SIXTY$$$$$ The wheels were dirty, the back seat floor was dirty, the windows were smudged. My car would have gotten just as clean at one of the touchless car wash places. I feel stupid for having taken in there in the first place and robbed for paying all that money for a terrible job. I never write Yelp reviews but be warned about this place. These guys are FOS. read more

MrEcowash is great!... I've gotten my car washed different times in different places. Some of them are expensive and you don't get what you expect. Driving by Cesar Chavez, and I saw a sign of MrEcowash, and I thought to give it a try. Really friendly, and professional guys who know what they r doing. This guys ( I think the owner) explained to me, that they use this waterless system to wash the cars. I thought my car wasn't going to be as cleaned as I wanted it. But after a short period of time, I couldn't believe it. My car looked like new. I got the hand wax? And they did the interior and everything. Really good job guys!.. Overall, my premium ($30) car wash was mediocre. The inside of my car was not very clean while the outside had many areas which hadn't been wiped down, including a window. The wash advertises themselves as eco-friendly by not using water, so when I asked the manager how they did it he replied that his boss didn't want him to tell people. After watching them work on another customer's car while I paid, I saw the worker simply spraying a cleaning solution (something like a 409 or other all purpose cleaner) onto the dirty cars and wiping it away with a towel. Not only is this really just not an efficient way to clean a car, but spraying a solution like that directly onto a car can ruin the paint. It would honestly just be better to go to the self-serve wash, basically next door, and save yourself some money. read more

I would give 10 star if I could. I took my car to this place and told them I need a full detail. The manager explained to me what they will do and he did not try to up sell anything.I have been in other detail shops before to get a quote and they always try to sell somethings extra and the price always doubled from their list price. I like to give some credit for their honesty. The only extra they charged was $20 more for my SUV. After they detailed my car I could not believe my eyes because my car was soooo shiny and interior was like a new car. Thanks this guys I never seen my car this clean before. I went here to get my car cleaned up before my end-of-lease inspection. I don't think I'd ever dusted or really cleaned my car in the 3 1/2 years I've had it. I just had them do the $29 wash and cleaning inside the car and it came back to me as clean and shiny as when I got it brand new. Such a great deal.
